Fresh Start | Draco Malfoy x Reader
hey, this was inspired partially by someones shifting experience. pls let me know if you want me to continue this, and share ideas if you have. also let me know if any of it is kinda bad. critique me!
words: 2.3k
warnings: violence n mean draco
You were a very popular Gryffindor in year 6. You had managed to befriend all the right people from the other houses, and most of the teachers adored you and how much you reminded them of your mother. Everyone loved you.
Everyone except one.
“Oi! L/N!” Draco shouted, chasing after you as you ran out of potions class.
You were fuming, your eyes narrowed to angry slits and your lips pursed. The entire school knew to stay out of your way when you had that look on your face. Except Draco Malfoy. “Look at me when I talk to you!” Draco grabbed your arm, pulling you to face him.
You had just reached the top of the stairs as he spun you around, and you almost tripped down them. You glared fiercely at Draco, and snapped your arm out of his grasp. “Do I look like I’m in the mood to talk to you, Malfoy?!”
“I don’t give a bloody damn if you’re in the mood to talk to me.” He glared back at you with equal fire. “You screwed up my grade, you stupid wench. Screw up like that again and the whomping willow will have do with you!”
An uncontrollable rage grew in your stomach, and you grit your teeth. “Damn the whomping willow!” You shouted, fists balled at your side. “And damn you, Malfoy! All you care about is yourself. I’m so tired of dealing with you, bloody selfish prick! Can’t you just find someone else to piss off for once, you BRAT!”
You were screaming by the end of your rant, and a crowd of students had formed to watch you two argue. This wasn’t a rare occurrence, but it got worse with every passing day.
Draco was enraged by your words and shrilling voice, he reached his hands out to grab your shoulders and push you down the stairs behind you. You gasped at your sudden loss of balance, and grabbed Draco’s wrist. The stairs began to move to the other side of the hall as you stumbled, and you two went tumbling to the landing on the other side of the hall. You cried out of pain, you had definitely received a lot of new bruises and as Draco landed on you, you thought you broke a few ribs.
With the unresolved anger issues you possessed, you rolled to be on top of Draco and began throwing the punches your mother had taught you in case of situations like this. “I’m gonna kill you, Malfoy!” You screamed, your hands wrapped around his throat.
Draco spun you over and punched you with his right fist. You gasped at the feeling of his cold metal rings colliding with your skin. “Not if I kill you first, L/N!”
The fight became more violent as the seconds passed, neither of you remembering you had magic powers. None of the students watching dared get between the feral teenagers.
Finally, McGonagall and Snape appeared, tearing the two apart. “What on EARTH is going on here?!” Snape boomed, bringing the pair back to reality.
“He pushed me-”
“She punched me-”
“SILENCE!” McGonagall exclaimed, her grip on you tightening. “I don’t even know where I’m going to start with you two!”
In McGonagall’s classroom, Draco and you sat in two chairs next to each other. Your uniforms were ruffed, and both of you had blood pooling from various parts of your faces. You had your tie shoved to your bloody nose, and Draco was holding his black eye.
Snape and McGonagall were shouting.
When they had finally released you to the infirmary, your task was to walk together in a civilized manner. Your adrenaline had worn off, and you weren’t that angry anymore. The exhaustion and dizziness made you realize you probably had a concussion.
“You’re such an idiot, L/N.” Draco, on the other hand, was still fuming.
You rolled your eyes, shoving your hands into your pockets. “Merlin, just shut up for once, Malfoy. My head is spinning enough, I don’t need your bloody voice ringing in my ears anymore.”
Draco grit his teeth. “You’re not so innocent, and everyone knows now. Everyone knows the monster you really are.”
Your eyes snapped up to glare at him. “Shut it, daddy’s boy. Just because you don’t get enough attention at home doesn’t mean you can go searching for it everywhere else. I’m just as tired of you as your parents are.” You paused, raising a hand to your eyes. “Shit,”
Draco stared at you, wondering how the hell you had the nerve to keep saying stuff like that to him. He was still fuming, and hardly noticed your paling face. “At least my father loves me enough to stick around, can’t say the same for yours. Wasn’t he declared dead a few days ago?
“Draco-” You tried interrupting, your vision going fuzzy. You struggled to move.
“Must be a shame to be known as the girl with a dead father and a crazy bitch of a mother.”
You shoved your arm out to grab his sleeve. “I-”
With a short start to a sentence, you were down. Draco hardly managed to catch you as your legs gave out. “L/N?” He questioned, watching your eyes roll back and your mouth fall open. He bent his ear to your mouth, feeling you breathing ever so softly. “Bloody hell,” he sighed, wincing as he tossed you over his sprained shoulder.
Madame Pomfrey exclaimed when she saw Draco rush in with you. “Set her there!” She pointed to the closest empty bed. Draco set you down as gently as he could. “Draco, what happened?!”
“W-We were doing fine, just walking. Well, we got into a fight, obviously. We also fell down the stairs.” A tinge of guilt pang through him as he watched Pomfrey dab the welts on your face from his rings. “She just collapsed. I think she said something about being dizzy.”
“She must be concussed,” Pomfrey furrowed her brows with worry. “This is very bad. She might not wake up.”
Draco’s eyes widened and he took a step back. “What do you mean she might not wake up?”
“It’s very risky to fall asleep with a concussion, and if she just collapsed, that’s a very bad sign. She may have slipped into a coma.” Pomfrey sighed, beginning to take your vitals. “All I can do right now is examine her until she wakes up.”
Draco turned and sprinted out of the room, the overwhelming feeling to get away from your unconscious body was uncontrollable. “Draco!” Pomfrey yelled. “I still need to patch you up!”
Everyone had gone to visit you in bed, everyone except Draco Malfoy.
One day, late in the afternoon, Draco walked into the infirmary. He almost had to walk back out. He never thought he could hold so much guilt for someone he once despised to the core.
Your bruises had almost healed, they were just yellow spots littering your pale skin. He sat in the chair that was always besides your bed, and glanced over your still figure. You hadn’t moved in weeks. It was completely his fault. “L/N…” He began softly, shifting his gaze to his bruised knuckles. “I’m sorry.” He’d spent days trying to justify his actions, trying to shift the blame to you, but he just couldn’t anymore.
Madame Pomfrey was alerted by a crash in the main room. She raced out of her office to see that the bed which occupied you for two weeks was empty. “Y/N?” Pomfrey called out, rushing over to find you curled fearfully on the floor and Draco stepping away from you.
Tears streaking down your cheeks, you looked up. “W-Where am I? Where’s my mother?!” You cried, scooting yourself against the wall. “Who are you people?! MOTHER!” You cried out, sinking in on yourself.
“Y/N, Y/N, my dear!” Madame Pomfrey crouched down a few feet in front of you. “My name is Madame Pomfrey, I’m the matron at Hogwarts. You recognize Hogwarts, don’t you, darling?”
“H-Hogwarts?” You questioned, lowering your hands from your face. Your gaze flickered between Pomfrey and Draco. “Am I at Hogwarts?”
“Yes, sweetheart. You had an incident and fell into a concussion coma for a few weeks. It seems you have a bit of amnesia as well.” Pomfrey frowned at you and stood back up. “Can I examine you, my dear?”
“Who is he?” You asked, pointing at Draco.
“That’s Draco Malfoy. He was just visiting you, a lot of people have been visiting you since your accident.” Pomfrey motioned Draco toward you. “Be useful and help her up.”
You looked at Draco suspiciously, but allowed him to help you stand up. Your legs were incredibly weak after not being used for two weeks, and he did most of the work getting you back onto the bed.
Madame Pomfrey immediately began to examine you. You continued to stare at Draco, who’s eyes were pinned to the floor. “We must be friends, if you were visiting me.” You stated, watching him shift nervously. “Go get me something to eat, my stomach hurts.”
Draco’s eyes shot up at you, and he started to back away from your bed. “I don’t think-”
“Please,” You cut him off, grasping his hand to keep him from leaving. Your eyes begged him. “Can you please get me something to eat?”
Draco nodded, continuing to avoid your eyes. “What would you like?”
“Something soft, easy to chew. Maybe even soup.”
“Soup would be the best choice.” Pomfrey pitched in, peering into your throat.
“Okay, I’ll be back soon.” Draco cleared his throat and swiftly left the room. As he walked to the dining hall, his mind was running a mile a minute.
How can she not remember me? Does she not remember anything about the fight? Does she not remember anything about our relationship, or lack thereof? Does she remember anything about Hogwarts? Did I really muck up this bad?
“My mother, she’s still traveling, right?” You questioned Madame Pomfrey. “I’m starting to remember a little. She taught here at some point, correct?”
“Yes, Y/N.” Madame Pomfrey smiled, peering over your stoic expressions. “She taught in your third year. Do you recall which class it was?”
“Herbology, I remember taking it with Harry and Ron, and this other girl… I don’t fully remember.”
After a few more questions, Madame Pomfrey came to a conclusion. “Well, it seems your amnesia is only temporary. Once I release you, Y/N, you must return if you find yourself unable to recall certain things, or have lasting pain.” She placed a hand on your shoulder and rubbed gently. “You seem to be healing well, but you’ll need to stretch carefully, you haven’t moved in over two weeks.”
Draco returned to the room, looking incredibly suspicious. He exposed a thermos with soup from under his robe. “Here,” He handed you the thermos and a spoon. “It’s mushroom.”
You lit up with joy. “I love mushrooms! Thank you, Draco.” You beamed at him, quickly taking the cup from his hands.
Draco was shocked to see you smile at him like that, you had never done it before. You’d been enemies from the moment you met. “Y-Yeah, whatever.” He plopped into the chair next to your bed to contemplate on telling you the truth.
Madame Pomfrey came around with a wheelchair. “Draco, if she needs to go anywhere, you’ll take her in this. She’s not quite ready to walk long distances on her own yet.”
Draco shot up from his seat, brows furrowed. “Why do I have to take her around. Can’t the mudblood do it?!”
Pomfrey glared at Draco. “It is part of your punishment for the incident. Do you want to take care of the girl you hurt so badly or do you want three months of detention? It’s your decision, Draco.”
Pomfrey walked off, leaving Draco and you alone. You looked up at him, a tinge of anger in your eyes. “Huh, so it’s your fault I was in a coma.” You fisted his robe and yanked him toward you. “I think you owe me some explanations, right now.”
“Serves you right to have to babysit me.” You laughed, leaning into the pillows behind you. “You almost killed me, you psychopath. You need some community service.”
“It wasn’t like that, Y/N. You were psychotic too!” Draco exclaimed, laughing softly with you. “Oh, if a teacher had heard the things you said to me, you would’ve been forced to write lines until your hands bled.”
“Yeah, yeah, you’re still the one that shoved me down the stairs!”
“You threw the first punch!”
“You slapped me with your dumb metal rings!”
“You gave me a black eye!”
You narrowed your eyes at him, disregarding everything you just said. “Anyway, I only forgive you because you’re hot.”
Draco gaped at you. “You are a completely different person without your memories.”
You laughed, “that’s kind of how it works, Draco.”
“I-I mean, we were enemies. We loathe each other. You would’ve eaten dirt before ever calling me hot.” He stared at you suspiciously. “There’s no way you don’t remember.”
“I really don’t. I only really remember two other people in all of Hogwarts so far. Pomfrey said I should be regaining my memories… So we’ll see if I still like you in a few days. But for now, I guess we get a fresh start.”

Teenager In Love
Hey guys, enjoy this short story I wrote. It’s kind of cliche but just to help me get back into the groove of things. If you guys like it maybe I will write a part 2, or make it like a mini series. pls comment any suggestions or ideas, and feel free to send me requests or ask for a commission! ty for your time.
"Ugh," Lily groaned. "Why must I be a teenager in love?"
“I have something to tell you.” Lily stated, her voice level and calm. She had planned this to go as smoothly as possible, just state the fact of Lily's irrational feelings, and move on! A two step process.
Claire smirked instantly, her eyes narrowing as she feigned a swoon. “Ooo! Are you about to profess your undying love for me?” She grinned at Lily, throwing an arm around her friend's shoulders. "I thought this day would never come!"
Lily's eyes widened and suddenly, she was sweating in every crevices. How could she guess it exactly?! “Yes, I am.” Lily blurted, her eyes shooting up to look at Claire.
Claire's smile didn't drop, but turned nervous. “.....What?”
"Why did I say that, idiot, idiot, IDIOT!" Lily exclaimed, to herself. She paced her room back and forth, almost ripping her hair out in distress.
"Woooahh, what's going on in here?"
Lily turned around to see her best friend, Jacey, standing in her doorway. "I told Claire I like her."
Jacey's eyes widened, "Are you serious?! What happened?" She moved to sit down on the bed and pulled Lily to sit down next to her. "You have to tell me everything in extreme detail!"
"I'm not gonna do that, Jacey." Lily sighed, holding her head in her hands. "It is so embarrassing. I had it all planned out, it would be calm and mature. I wouldn't get nervous because I had planned exactly what I was going to say!" Lily sat up, looking at Jacey with distress. "I told her I had something to tell her and she said Are you about to profess your UNDYING love for me? I freaked!"
Jacey's jaw dropped, then she burst into laughter. "Oh my gods! She totally called it!"
"IT'S NOT FUNNY, J!" Lily shouted, shooting up from her bed and turning to glare at her best friend. "I just said yes! Then the bell rang and I RAN AWAY!" Lily shoved her hands into her hair and squeezed her eyes shut. "It was so embarrassing! She wasn't supposed to say that. Then she just looked at me, and said What? In a kind of disappointed voice. I'm so heartbroken over my failed plan, it was supposed to be simple!"
"You're heartbroken over your planned convo not working out and not the fact that you two left each other hanging?!" Jacey exclaimed, staring at Lily in disbelief. "You're more cold than I thought!"
"I don't care if she left me hanging! I only wanted to tell her to resolve tension and acknowledge my feelings and lack of desire to pursue anything." Lily began to pace her room again. "I can't face her again, I just have to ignore her for the next six months."
Jacey stood from the bed and whipped out her phone. "Absolutely not, Lillian. I'm texting her right now."
“Jacey Fletcher, you better not. I will kill you. I will never forgive you and no one would ever find your body.” Lily declared, her voice steady and empty of emotion. “I don’t want anything to do with that girl!”
“That’s too bad, isn’t it?” Jacey blew a raspberry at Lily and continued to tap at her phone. “I’m inviting Claire to go bowling with us and Avery on Saturday. Don’t make plans that day.”
Lily glared daggers at Jacey. “What if I do?”
“Then you will simply not go to them.”
Lily rolled her eyes, turning to lay back on her bed. Her purple hair splaying itself around her. “I hate you. Why are you doing this to me? I told her before winter break so I could avoid her for two weeks with no effort! You are the worst support system.”
Jacey sighed, laying down next to her best friend. “Even if you don’t end up romantically involved with Claire, you still make another friend, Lily. She seems like your type of friend, she’s nerdy but still cute. She’s a little excitable but hey look at me! And we’re best friends!” Jacey nudged Lily’s shoulder. “It’ll be good to hang out with someone new and not just go back and forth between our two houses for the break.”
“Maybe,” Lily grumbled. “I think I’m fine with just you and Avery.”
“We all have to branch out. And if you really don’t like her, you’re leaving this summer anyway!” Jacey feigned a sob. “To that fancy schmancy D.C. college. You traitor.”
“It’s only like two hours away, stop it.” Lily shoved her best friend’s shoulder, causing Jacey to erupt in laughter. “If Saturday doesn’t go well, I’m not seeing her for the rest of the break, no matter what you try!”
“Okay, deal!” Jacey sat up, holding her hand out to shake Lily’s. “Our fate and friendship is in the hands of Saturday afternoon, and the gods.”
Lily shook Jacey’s hand. “I agree, minus the gods part.”
Jacey rolled her eyes. “Wanna play call of duty?!”

Little Darling | Carol Danvers x Reader
something short and sweet! please give requests if you see this and want more!
words: 418
warning: death and angst
“Hey, hey, just hold on. Just a little longer okay? Y/N? Y/N, can you hear me? Open your eyes, please!”
You opened your eyes slowly, the blinding light above you burned. “Carol,” you smiled a bit, your eyes landing on your blonde friend’s worried eyes. “What happened?”
Carol sighed, blinking so the tears wouldn’t flow out. She looked down at the wound in your stomach. “Y/N, honey, I just need you to hold on. Can you do that for me? Can you stay awake?”
Your hearing faded out for a second and you winced as the ringing became louder. Faintly, you could hear Carol screaming. “Someone get a medic over here, please!”
“Danvers, we need you out here!”
“Okay, okay! Damnit,” Carol sighed, looking back down at your paling face. Tears now flooded down her cheeks.
“Why the long face, princess?” You smiled a bit, reaching out your shaky and bloody hand to cup Carol’s face. “I’m gonna be okay. I can’t even feel the pain anymore. You go save the world okay?”
“Y/N..” Carol whimpered, trying to contain a sob.
“I gotta tell you something.” You spoke softly, your head feeling light. “I’ve had a crush on you since we first met. I need you to know that before I-“
“You are NOT gonna die!” Carol shouted, turning her head back to the chaos of the battle. “PLEASE! Anyone, a medic, please!”
“Hey, it’s okay.” You tried to smile, a couple of tears leaking from the corners of your eyes. You grasped Carol’s hand. “Save the world for me, princess. It’s the only thing I-I’ll ask of you.”
“Y/N, please, I can’t-“
“You can. You will.” You squeezed Carol’s hand as tight as you could. “I love you, sweet girl. Don’t stop fighting. Please.”
“I’m gonna come back for you, when I finish this.” Carol insisted, wiping the tears and squeezing your hand in return. “This isn’t goodbye. Just hold on a little longer. Please.”
“I’m not gonna make it, Carol.” Your eyes watered more, and you held down a sob. “Please, d-don’t let me die alone.”
Carol laid down beside you, pressing her forehead to the side of your head, so her mouth was right by your ear. “Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter. Little darling, it’s seems like years since we've been here.”
“Here comes the sun,” You sang back weakly. “Here comes the sun, and I say, it’s alright..” Your eyes fell shut as your hand went limp in Carol’s grasp.

Seven Minutes in Heaven | Draco Malfoy x Reader
based off: nothin
words: 3.2k
warning: uhh near death, angst
a/n: hey it’s been a hot minute. this probly sucks but it took me two hours to write sooo am gonna post it anyway. let me know if u think it doesn’t suck pls. there r probably some mistakes sry about those.
"Seven Minutes in Heaven." You scrunched your nose up, your eyes glancing back to the fellow Slytherins and few Gryffindors in your Potions class. All of them whispering about, seeing as it was only two minutes until dismissal.
"Yeah," Hermione replied, neatly placing her books into her bag. "Tonight at 8. Room of Requirement. Are you up for it?"
With a sigh, you slung your bag over your shoulder. "Why not? All four houses in the Room of Requirement, shoving people into a closet together. What possibly could go wrong?"
"Exactly!" Hermione grinned, eyes wide and excited. "All houses together, House Unity at its finest!"
"You just want to snog Ron." You smirked, following your friend out of the classroom and into the bustling hallway.
Now it was Hermione's turn to scrunch her face. "Merlin, no! I just think it'll be fun and a tiny bit evil to watch people get stuck together in a closet."
"Ah, now you're talking." You grinned, elbowing Hermione's side. "Why didn't you open with that? You know evil torture is my thing!"
Hermione rolled her eyes, spotting Harry and Ron across the hall. "See you tonight, Y/N!"
You watched Hermione rush towards the two boys and waved when Harry's gaze met yours. He waved back with a small smile. You spun around and started towards your next class.
8 o'clock
You reluctantly walked up to the area where the door to the Room of Requirement would appear. The hall was empty and you were sure you’d been the last to arrive. You pondered for a moment. Wondering why you were there, then assuring yourself you'd only watch.
You thought to yourself and the door appeared. Opening it, you found a circle of people with a bag in the middle and a decent sized closet behind them. Everyone had already sat down and there were two people standing up. Harry Potter and Pansy Parkinson. They'd paused to look at you, who could hardly contain yourself and still stood at the door.
"Oh, Merlin." You laughed, a grin now situated on your face. "This is evil. I dig this!" You quickly walked forward and sat between a Ravenclaw and a fellow Slytherin. You eyed the large circle of people and noticed there were a lot more Gryffindors, Slytherins, and Ravenclaws than Hufflepuffs. Goody-two-shoes.
Both Harry and Pansy gave you a cold stare after your sudden entrance and quickly snapped back to the task at hand. They walked into the closet and the door shut behind them. Seven minutes. Everyone outside chatted and your attention was grasped by the Slytherin besides you.
A girl. Long, yellowish blonde hair, dark brown eyes. "This is a bit dumb, don't you think?" She began to speak and Merlin, you couldn't remember her name. "I mean, the attempt at House Unity. Slytherins are the best and they always will be."
You had an urge to punch her in the face. As you did with most of your housemates. Though, you hid it all behind a cool and charming facade. You opened your mouth to speak, but the blonde continued on. "Besides, then at least I'd have less competition for Draco." She smirked, her eyes glancing to her right.
It was now that you noticed the blonde-nearly-white haired boy who sat a few people down in the circle from you. He had been sitting calmly and listening to the conversations around him. Draco Malfoy. You wanted to say you hated him more than anything, but recently, he'd been quiet and his words of hatred towards, well, everyone really, ended. Of course, his short temper still resulted in a few clumsy First Years getting chewed out, but other than that things had been fine.
He'd been awful to you for the past 5 years. You never cared. Your emotions were frozen to stone and you never bothered caring about things and people that weren't worth caring about. Yet, here you were. For the millionth time this year, your eyes were glued to the silent blonde as questions filled your head. What changed him?
He hadn't called you a Blood-traitor in what seemed like decades. Hadn't pushed Hermione's books down and spat at her shoes whilst you two had just been trying to walk to class. Not to mention, he was the only one who tried to harm you that way. Of course, Crabbe and Goyle, his oh so loyal followers did the same. After a punch or two to the face, you set them straight.
Pansy, another one of Draco's loyal followers, was friends with you before she even began her infatuation with Draco. She couldn't hate you because of him. No matter how much she wanted the name Malfoy.
You were a social butterfly and had an irresistible charm to your persona, therefore everyone loved you. Even the Gryffindors, despite their pride and despite you being a Slytherin. You weren’t a terrible person. Everyone except Draco Malfoy who seemed to be obsessed with degrading her. Maybe because she was the talk of the school and had been for 5 years. Seriously.
Cute little eleven-year-old Y/N steps up to the sorting hat and flashes everyone a toothy smile. Everyone silently prayed you’d be in their House and oh boy, did the Slytherins erupt with joy when the sorting hat shouted their House.
Five years pass and everyone still loves you. First years whom you help up after being pushed down by the famous Malfoy and his crew. Third years who don't know how to ask out the girl they like. People from different years and houses who you sometimes find crying and sometimes just need a hug and a friend.
You were seen as a disgrace to the Slytherin house to Draco Malfoy. Someone like you belonged in Hufflepuff, he was convinced.
Sometimes other people were convinced too, and then someone would talk back to you and you’d end them with a slick remark. Or they’d try to trip you and you’d attempt to hex them into oblivion and then they'd remember. Yup. You’re a Slytherin.
The closet door opened and out stepped Harry and Pansy. Both silently seething and instantly retreat to opposite sides of the circle. Everyone assumed they'd just sat down and avoided each other. They hated each other, after all.
"Luna, go!" Hermione called, pointing to the box and staring at Luna Lovegood. The Ravenclaw sighed but leaned over to pick an item from the box. It was a tiny pin in the shape of a blue police box. She scanned the crowd and the Ravenclaw boy who sat beside you stood up.
Luna sighed a sigh of relief. "Thank god. Come on, Germ." She grabbed the boys arm and pulled him into the closet.
Germ? Ah, right, Jeremy Shaker. Another sixth year that Luna tutored in Transfiguration. It was clear the boy had a crush on Luna by the deep blush that accompanied his face as she dragged him to the closet. "No fair, they were cute!" You pouted, wanting more couples that clashed.
The game continued on for a good 40 minutes. It was nearing the end and you had already been called. Hermione had been forced into the closet with Ron and both of them exited looking like tomatoes. Harry went up again this time being paired with Ginny, who'd given Hermione an excited glance that Elena easily caught. You yourself had entered the closet with Blaise Zabini, a fellow Slytherin and friend that you didn't mind sharing the closet with and possibly having a huge make out session with because hey, he was attractive and there was always a bit of sexual tension.
You’d exited looking flushed and flustered. Your H/C locks were ruffled and skirt slightly risen. Blaise's hair was messed up and his shirt is untucked from his pants. The circle eyed you two and several wolf whistles and hollers were heard. You sat back down beside the Slytherin and Ravenclaw and pat down your hair.
"Okay.." Hermione slowly said, flipping the page on the 'sign in' sheet and slamming her finger down on the next name. "Malfoy." She called out, everyone's eyes turning to the blonde Slytherin. Almost every Slytherin girls interest was peaked as he sighed, reaching over and shoving his hand into the bag. His hand wrapped around something tiny and attached to a chain. He pulled it out to find the thing was a necklace with a single angel wing attached to the chain.
Your eyes widened. That was yours. You slowly stood up and when you did, your eyes met Draco's. "Malfoy and L/N, that'll be fun." Someone, you’re pretty sure it was Ron, remarked sarcastically.
With a sigh, you two stepped into the closet. It was small and surely smelled of sweat and teenage hormones. Small, but not small enough to where each person wouldn't have their own side of the closet.
Draco wished he was drowning in the Black Lake.
"Malfoy." You spoke, surprisingly softly. He'd expected you to blow up on him for something dumb.
"What?" He snapped back, leaning against the opposite end of the dark closet.
"Could I have my necklace back?" Draco now realized that your hand was outstretched and he was still gripping onto the false metal tightly in his own.
He dropped the necklace in your hand and you quickly tried to put it on. In the dark. By yourself. After watching you struggle for a few seconds, Draco sighed. "Let me help you, fool." He pushed your hands from the back of your neck and grasped the false metal once more. He clipped the tiny clip easily and let it fall against your skin.
"Thanks," You whispered, slightly in shock that swears and curses weren't falling from his mouth. You leaned against the opposite side of the closet and eyed him up as much as you could in the dark closet.
"Do I have something on my face, L/N?" Draco growled, peering into your eyes with a cold stare.
"No." You replied simply, still holding his gaze.
Draco looked away, it made him uncomfortable that you just sat there staring at him. Deducing things about him. Being clever in your brain. He didn't like that.
"Are you alright, Draco?"
Your words took him by surprise. Y/N L/N, someone he degraded almost as much as Harry Potter for the past five years, was asking if he was alright. "What do you care?" He snapped back, putting up his cold front as usual. You hated him, you were only acting to get information or something to break him with. He wouldn't let you do that.
"Well, you haven't been calling me a blood traitor or shoving my books to the floor, so maybe I'm a bit concerned."
"You? Concerned about me?" Draco scoffed, sitting down against the wall. "It must be the end of the world, yeah?"
You rolled your eyes, doing the same as him and sitting down. "Shut up. You've been really quiet and everyone's noticed. What's going on with you?"
"Shouldn't you be happy I've left you alone?" He jeered, narrowing his eyes at her. "Draco Malfoy has finally shut up, why aren't you and your mudblood friends celebrating?"
"Don't call them that," You growled, before taking a deep breath to calm Yourself. "It's just weird. I'm curious."
"Well, it's none of your damn blood traitor business."
"Listen here, Malfoy!" You shouted angrily, standing up to talk him down. He immediately stood up as well, hand placed instinctively on the pocket that held his wand. "I am only trying to be of help! Why have you got up so many bloody walls anyway?!"
Draco was slightly taken back but quickly recovered. "Walls? I don't have walls!"
"Yes, you do! Even Blaise couldn't get you to talk about things. Are you plotting something?!"
"I'm not plotting anything! Can't a guy just live in peace?!"
"Not you, Malfoy! Not the son of a Death Eater!"
Draco snapped. He whipped out his wand and held it straight to your neck. "L/N, I think it's time you learned to shut the hell up and mind your own goddamn business!"
You quickly reached into your pocket and pulled out your own wand, taking a step back and pointing to towards him. "Back off, Malfoy!"
"Why don't you?!" He yelled, casting a hex to turn you into a rat. You countered it and it backfired. He quickly jumped out of the way of it and glared at you.
"I'm just trying to figure you out!" You cast Expelliarmus and he countered. The best witch and wizard Slytherins going against each other. This would've been a long fight.
If it weren't that Draco blew a hole in the side of the closet. You both froze, you were barely able to get out of the way. "You- You nearly killed me." You breathed, your eyes wide and glancing between the now giant hole and the also frozen Wizard.
"I-" Draco didn't have words. He did almost kill you. He couldn't imagine what would've happened if the spell would have hit you. He kept his cold facade on and sneered. "Shame I missed."
The realization that Draco wasn't capable of being saved, of changing, hit you like a train. Like the spell would have. You took a step back, away from him. Draco noticed that quickly and felt bad instantly, he opened his mouth to speak but you quickly pushed the closet doors open and bolted away from the situation.
Everyone was staring at you with confused and wide eyes. They looked at the debris that had flown from the side of the closet and the ruffled wizard and witch. You quickly made way with Hermione trying to follow you. You shrugged off the fellow witch and continued towards the door.
Pansy and Crabbe and Goyle were questioning Draco on what the hell happened, while Blaise stood up and followed you out of the room. Draco watched with a tinge of anger? As the male Slytherin followed the girl he'd nearly killed. He shook his head and pushed past the people surrounding him, leaving the Room of Requirements and heading towards the Astronomy tower.
You were running towards the common room as fast as her shaky legs carried you. What had just happened? You nearly got your insides blown up, that's what just happened. You could hear Blaise's voice calling her and ignored it until you were standing in front of the Slytherin common room and he had caught up.
"Y/N!" He panted, grabbing your arm and spinning you around to face him. "What-" He stopped upon seeing your teary eyes and terrified gaze. You ripped your arm from his grasp and took a step back.
"I'm fine, Zabini, back off." You turned around and stepped into the common room, bolting towards your dorm.
The next morning, you were late for breakfast. Everyone thought you wouldn't show, obviously still shaken up over the situation and probably wanting to hide out for a while. Pansy knew that, being your dormmate. She had returned to the dorms an hour after the game and found you curled up with tear soaked cheeks. You were terrified.
Though you considered not going to breakfast, you decided you’d suck it up, put some concealer over your eye bags and a facade over your being. Once you arrived you went straight for the Gryffindor table, surprising everyone a tiny bit but it wasn't too uncommon. You were, of course, very fond of the Golden Trio.
You sat next to Hermione, who looked at you with sad eyes but a slightly hopeful smile. "Good morning, Y/N." Harry had spoken up, also giving a warm smile. "Did you sleep well?"
You gave them all the strongest fake smile in return, nodding as you grabbed a piece of toast from the table. "Yeah, I slept fine." You lied, shoving the toast into your mouth.
"That's nice." He replied, before breaking off into a conversation with Ron. Just as he had been before you went and sat down.
Hermione was staring at you. Picking out things that were different about you this morning. Usually being loud and outspoken, today you were more quiet and calm.
Breakfast ended and you went straight to your first class. The day drilled on and you did fine until the seventh hour. You had potions with the one and only Draco Malfoy. Part of you wanted to jump off the tallest tower, part of you wanted to see if he'd apologize. Of course, he won't. He wanted to kill you. Why would he apologize for that?
Draco was the last to enter the class. Alone, like he had for the past week. Just as silent and solemn as he had been, he sat down in his seat. Opposite the room from you.
You kept your eyes glued to your desk, only looking up towards him when you heard the squeak of his chair. You watched him sit down and pull out a piece of parchment and a pen. He left them there the entire lesson, probably just to make it seem like he was doing something.
You could still feel the electricity of the spell barely missing you. You shut your eyes and took a deep breath, ignoring the Slytherins behind you that had started talking about what happened. The class ended faster than you thought it would.
With unimaginable speed, you packed your things and was the first out of the door. Rushing to the Astronomy tower, you ignored the nagging voice in your head reminding you that Draco hadn't apologized. Did he really mean to kill you?
Entering the Astronomy tower, You let out a deep breath. You dropped your things along the east wall and rushed towards the edge. Staring over the beautiful land, it seemed like all your worries melted away.
But they didn't really.
You jumped as the door to the Astronomy tower creaked open. You spun around and found Draco Malfoy making his way towards you. With a sigh, you turned back around and leaned against the edge. "Come to finish off the job?" You spat, ignoring his gaze as he stood beside you. You heard him sigh.
"I came to apologize."
That caught your attention. You turned a bit to look at him, eyes filled with confusion. You raised an eyebrow. "Sorry? Draco Malfoy, apologizing?"
Draco clenched his jaw, letting out a heavy breath. "You are infuriating."
"I try my best."
He took a deep breath to calm himself and looked out at the beautiful scenery. "I'm sorry for almost killing you. I didn't mean to. You just pissed me off, more than usual."
You sighed, turning and leaning back on the edge. "Sorry for pissing you off. I was quite out of line and said some things I shouldn’t have." You paused, before holding your hand out. "Friends?"
Draco glanced down at your hand with a raised eyebrow. Then, he grasped it softly. "Acquaintances."
You nodded, shaking his hand. "Alright." You pulled away and walked over to your bag. "Have a nice night, Draco." You called out before disappearing from the Astronomy tower.

Blessed | Avengers x Reader
based off of: i saw something about cheating and this came out of that
words: 1.5k
warnings: f-bombs, angst, cheating, crying, really really loving avengers
A/N: i wrote this at 10pm and all in one go. it’s unedited and i’m just hoping there's no errors and hoping it doesn't SUCK. please give me feedback i thrive on validation.
Don’t light on fire. Don’t light on fire. Don’t light on fire.
The only words that are running through your head right now. You repeated them like a prayer, hands squeezed into fists by your side and eyes ablaze with a fire you tried to keep within you.
Don’t light on fire.
You couldn’t tear your eyes from the pair in front of you. Your boyfriend of three years and your beloved younger sister. You almost didn’t believe your eyes. Then, you took a moment, surveyed the situation, and came to a conclusion. Just like your training.
Your conclusion was that your boyfriend was cheating on you with your sister.
Don’t light on fire.
It was a funny situation. Your mother was in town for your sister’s birthday. You were out shopping for your sister’s birthday gift. For her birthday gift! Instead, you find your sister and your boyfriend, walking hand in hand through the mall and looking like the loveliest couple in the city.
Don’t light on fire.
You looked away before one of them saw you and sat down on a bench a few feet away from you. You had to breathe, you had to relax, you had to cool down.
Cool down. Cool down. Cool down.
How long had this been going on? When did they see each other? Why hadn’t he just broken up with you? How many I love you’s were lies? Why weren’t you enough for him? Why did she do this? How could she betray your trust like this? How could she ruin your sibling bond like it was nothing? For a man?
You took a deep breath and relaxed your body. You closed your eyes and drowned out the sounds of the mall around you. You picture yourself in the Avengers tower common room. You were surrounded by your teammates and the ac was blasting, bringing your unusually warm body temperature to a nice average degree. Everyone else with normal temperatures were freezing, but they dealt with it because they knew how happy it made you.
Your eyes snapped open. You needed to get back to your friends. They would help you. They would make you feel better. They would let you rant and scream and cry. They wouldn’t be bothered when you ignited from the anger.
You stood up and pulled out your phone. You’d get to them, but not before snapping a picture of your perfect sister and caring boyfriend to confront them with later.
The tower was quiet and calm. It was a Sunday and most people were resting today. You would usually be doing paperwork from whatever mission you had during the week, but you’d finished early just to look for a birthday present for your sister.
The soft chatter in the common room stopped almost immediately when you entered. All eyes turned to you and Steve instantly started talking. “What’s wrong, Y/N?”
You looked down at your clenched fists and realized you’d ignited at some point on your journey to the common room. You didn’t bother putting it out and sat down on the sofa.
Tony was lucky he’d taken the time to make everything fireproof.
You opened and closed your mouth for a moment. Not entirely sure where to begin and trying not to start ranting before you explained the situation. You looked up at your team’s peering eyes. Steve, Bucky, Natasha, Sam, and Tony.
“My boyfriend,” you began, already surprising the team since no one except Tony knew you had a boyfriend. You kept your life and your work very separate for your loved one’s sakes. “is cheating on me.” You paused again, the flames on your hands growing. “With my sister.”
The room fell silent for a moment before Tony spoke. “I’m gonna kill him.”
Natasha stood up from her seat on the sofa adjacent to you. “And I’ll kill her.”
“No one is killing anyone.” Steve quickly intervened, knowing full well both of them would go through with it. Steve sat down beside you, keeping his distance as to not get burned. Bucky flanked your other side. “Tell us what happened.”
You gripped onto the cushion in your lap. “I was at the mall, looking for a birthday gift for my sister and I saw them. Walking hand in hand around.” You reached into your pocket to pull out your phone. “It took everything me not to burn them to ashes and blow them into the wind.”
“I didn’t even know you had a boyfriend. Or a sister.” Sam said, sitting on the coffee table in front of you.
“I don’t mix work and family for their safety. You guys understand that.” You shrugged, pulling out the photos and handing it to Steve. “I took photos to confront them later but I don’t even know how I’m going to do that. Three fucking years.”
You breathed, trying to push back the lump in your throat. Your initial anger had calmed, your flames were shrinking, and your heart was hurting. “Fuck,” You muttered, your hands coming into your hair as you rested your elbows on your knees. “How could I be so blind? So stupid?”
“Y/N, you were not stupid,” Natasha said, sitting beside Sam on the coffee table and rested her hand on your knee. “You were in love.”
“If anyone is stupid it’s him.” Tony inquired, standing on the other side of Sam.
“Right.” Sam agreed. “What kind of dumbass cheats on such an amazing woman? Such a strong and loving and kind woman?”
“Everyone in this room can say you’re one of the best people we know,” Steve spoke again, putting his hand on your back and slowly rubbing.
“He didn’t think so,” You murmured, tears dripping down your cheeks.
“Then he is blind.” Bucky grabbed one of your hands, pulling it down from your face and making you look at him. “Because he had a goddess-like woman in front of him and he didn’t see it. Y/N, you are beyond amazing and if he couldn’t see that, then he doesn’t deserve you.”
“Exactly,” Tony said, looking down at you with sympathy in his eyes. “We’re all sorry this happened to you. Men are trash.” You laughed at his words, raising your free hand to wipe your tears. “Seriously, though, I know this is going to be a big thing for you to move on from. It probably feels like your life has been flipped upside down. Two people you trusted the most have lied and betrayed you, I know it hurts. We all know it hurts.”
Tony paused for a moment, all of you sitting in the silence and letting his words sink in. “But what I need you to know is that you are not alone.”
You bit back fresh tears that his words provoked. You reached your hand out and grasped his. He continued talking. “Look around you. Everyone in this room loves you so, so much. We all know you are strong and capable of surviving this. We know you will survive this. But it’s so much harder to do it alone, so know that you are not.
We are here for you at all times. We’re teammates, roommates, and friends. We’re... We’re family.”
You jumped up from your seat and threw your arms around Tony. Violent sobs wrecked your body and you clung to him like he was your lifeline. He cooed softly to you, pulling you into him and letting you sob.
After a few minutes of crying, you pulled away, wiping your tears and trying to compose yourself to talk to them. “I- I love you guys.” You bit your lip, trying to stop crying again. “So much. Thank you. Oh my god, thank you. I couldn’t have asked for a better family. Or- or for better support. This was much better than I imagined when I sat down in the mall to cool down.”
“We’re always gonna support you, Y/N.” Bucky smiled at you. “And if you do want us to kill them-”
“That’s okay.” You quickly said, failing to bite back a laugh. “They’re just idiots who never deserved my trust, my love, or my time.” You furrowed your eyebrows, your anger slowly coming back. “I think, in some karma like way, they deserve each other.”
“Two shitty people in an affair together? Sounds like karma.” Sam remarked.
“I’m going to confront them as soon as possible and then, I’m probably going to cry and scream a little, maybe commit some light arson, but then. Oh, then, I’m going to move on.” You breathed, feeling yourself relax with each deep breath. “I’m going to become stronger and better and I’m going to survive.”
“That’s our girl.” Natasha grinned at you, stepping over Sam’s legs to put an arm around you. “You’re gonna survive and we’re all gonna be here cheering you on, helping you up when you’re down, and helping you train and become a stronger you.”
“We all know you have it in you,” Steve said, wrapping his arm around your waist. “And you’re gonna see it yourself one day.”
You grinned, ruffling Steve’s hair lightly as he was still sat down next to where you stood. “I genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better family.” You looked over the five people around you. “For the first time in my life, I feel truly blessed.”

Neighbor | Bucky Barnes x Reader
based off of: I know we’ve never talked before but there is a friggin huge spider in my apartment can you kill it for me
words: 1.5k
warnings: arachnophobia, panicky feelings, kind of a bad ending but the rest of it is good
a/n: two posts in one day? who am i? actually i’m pretty proud of this and love it a lot so heck yeah. not requested but i saw this prompt and had to do it
You’ve never screamed so loud in your entire life. Not when watching any horror movie, not when your friends attempted to jump scare you, not when you almost got mugged walking home. Never.
But walking into your apartment after a pretty average day of work and finding a spider the size of a dinner plate (so you thought) taking refuge in the corner of your kitchen ceiling pulled a blood curling scream out of you. One you didn’t even know you were capable of. You flew out of the room, hiding behind the wall and only peaking into the room to get another glimpse of the spider.
As you stared at it, panic rising in your body and breathing cutting short. You squeezed your eyes shut. The longer you stared at it, the more you felt dozens of them crawling up your body.
You were the biggest arachnophobe you knew of. Nothing invoked such a raw feeling of panic and fear in you than spiders did. You had no idea why. There was no traumatic event where you woke up to a spider sitting on your chest. It’s just how you were.
Any spider made your skin crawl.
It was the biggest irrational fear, yet it plagued you so much. You avoided spiders all through your life. Making other people kill them or take them out when you found them in your home, avoiding walking through gardens or forests where you could easily walk through a spider web. You also vowed to never visit Australia, knowing you would easily faint should their extra large spiders decide to visit you.
Now here you stood, in your apartment, back to a wall as you hid from a spider that was definitely not as big as you thought it was. You wanted to cry but seeing as you were an adult and lived alone, you had to figure out a solution to the situation.
You remembered that your next door neighbor was a big beefy dude that politely held the elevator for you once and would definitely be able to help you with your problem.
You straightened up and peeked into the kitchen again, your heart stopping when you saw the spider had disappeared from that corner. Fear crawled up your spine as you spun around, making sure the entire area of five feet around you was spider-free. Then, you looked at the ceiling corner diagonal of the other one and found the spider there.
Feeling slightly frustrated with how genuinely afraid you felt and how much you wanted to curl up and cry, you sped out of your apartment and down the hall. That spider moved fast, so you needed to act quickly.
You knocked three times and hoped to god that your neighbor was home. You didn’t know what you’d do if he wasn’t. No wait, you’d probably cry.
The door opened after a few agonizing moments. You noticed he had a few extra locks on his door as he opened them, but decided you were so scared of the eight-legged thing in your apartment that you didn’t care if this man had two heads. So long as he could help you.
“Hi, can I help you?” Bucky questioned, a hesitant smile on his face as he looked you over. You almost forgot about the spider in your apartment because of how handsome this man was.
“Hi, um, I’m Y/N. I live next door. I know we’ve never talked before but there is a really, really, really huge spider in my apartment. Can you please kill it for me?” You quickly spat out, your body trembling with fear. You hoped it wasn’t too obvious. People often found it amusing how terrified you were and used it to make fun of you.
Your neighbor nodded, no sign of amusement on his face. “Alright, sure. Where is it?”
You lead him back into your apartment. He glanced around at your picture frames and knick-knacks but it was a short trip to the kitchen. Upon arriving, you gasped.
The spider was nowhere in sight. “No, no, no, no.” You mumbled under your breath, spinning around, checking your surrounding area, then looking around the ceiling. No spider.
You opened a few cupboards with your trembling hands and frantically searched the kitchen. “It was here. I swear, it was here.” Tears prickled your eyes as you thought about possibly not finding the spider.
“Hey, hey.” Bucky placed his hands on your shoulders, making you jump, but then relax. His blue eyes scanning your face. He spoke softly to you, and it easily calmed you. “It’s okay. We’re gonna find it. Don’t panic.”
You nodded, blinking back the tears and taking a step back. “Sorry for freaking out. We should start looking.”
He followed you into the living room, which was across from the kitchen. “You always been this afraid of spiders?” He questioned, trying to make small talk as you searched the room.
“It got really bad when I was around twelve. I’m not sure why.” You moved to help him pull back the sofa to look behind it when he pushed it slightly forward with a single hand. With raised eyebrows, you kept searching. “They just invoke this whole different type of fear within me that nothing else does.”
“Everybody’s scared of something.” He replied, looking behind the tv.
“Right,” You breathed, stepping back from the DVD holder. “It’s not here. That’s terrifying.”
“We just gotta keep looking.” He smiled a little, making you melt inside. You agreed and lead him to the bathroom.
“This is the bathroom.” You stated, pushing the already slightly open door with your foot. “You check here. I’ll check my bedroom.”
“Got it.” He nodded, stepping into the bathroom.
You went into your room, searched quickly, found nothing. According to the silence from across the hall, Bucky also found nothing. You met him back in the hallway and turned to your office door. “The last room, last place it could possibly be.”
“Want me to walk in first?” He questioned, looking down at you with concern.
You looked away from his soft blue eyes. “Yeah, sure.”
He walked forward and opened the door. He slowly crept in and you stayed a foot outside the door. “Is it in there?” You almost whispered, watching him as he glanced around the room. His eyes landed on a spot on the ceiling and your blood chilled.
“You got a broom or something in this place, doll?”
“The closet to your left.” You replied, taking a few steps forward and peering into the room. You regretted it instantly and recoiled out of the room.
He returned into your view with a broom and held the bristled part up to the ceiling. “Alright, fucker, time to die.” He mumbled under his breath before stabbing the broom at the ceiling.
You heard a soft thud and peeked back into the room. You saw the spider on the ground, on it’s back, and curling into itself. You shuddered, wrapping your arms around yourself and focusing on your neighbor instead. “It’s huge. Too huge. Why does it exist? Oh god.”
“It’s a wolf spider.” He said, stabbing it a few more times to make sure it was dead. “Not uncommon around these parts. Though I’m not entirely sure how it made its way into your apartment.”
“I’m not sure either.” You replied, going into the closet to get a trash bag for Bucky to put it in.
He scooped it into the trash bag and tied it off. You followed him to the door. “Thank you so much.” You sighed, throwing your arms around him as you both stood in the doorway of your apartment. “I don’t know what I would’ve done without you. I wouldn’t have slept if I didn’t find it and I still don’t know if I’ll sleep comfortably but thank you.”
He hugged you back with one arm, keeping the trash bag a bit away from you. “You’re welcome, Y/N. If you ever need somebody to kill another spider for you, I’m only a door away.” He smiled at you, a smile so beautiful you wished you could see it for the rest of your life.
“Of course, and thank you so much again.” You smiled back, leaning against your door. “I’ll let you throw that out and get back to your own apartment.”
“I’ll see you again.” He gave you a small nod and another smile and turned around, beginning his walk to the elevator to throw the spider corpse in the big trash bins.
“Wait!” You called, realizing something.
He turned around and looked at you, curiosity in his gaze.
“You never told me your name.” You smiled, a bit mischievous.
Bucky seemed to think about it for a moment, an amused smile taking over his face as he chuckled lightly. “You can call me James. James Grant.”
Your smile grew. “Okay, James. Thank you again.”
His heart skipped a beat at the sound of his name in your voice. “See you around, doll.”

She’s My Wife | Loki x Avenger!Reader
based off of: nothing it’s just an idea that came into my head after rewatching the avengers movies
words: 727
warnings: violence, angst, kinda shitty writing since i did write this at 2 am
“Loki.” You breathed, your eyes falling on the god that was firmly planted into the floor of the Stark Tower. You dropped the piece of shrapnel you’d used as a shield and ran over to him. You slid on your knees to land beside him. His wide, shock filled eyes moved to look at you.
“Y/N,” he whispered, so quietly you almost didn’t hear it.
You placed your hand on his cheek, your eyes leaking with tears. “My love, what have you done?”
“Am I hallucinating?” He wheezed, trying to sit up.
You pushed him back into the ground. “Stay down. And no, you’re not.” You wiped the tears from your cheeks and stood up. Your hands trembled as you extended your arm, pointing a gun in his face. “You always asked me where I came from. This is it.” You laughed, trying to ignore the tears wanting to spill over again. “This is my home, everything I fight for, everything I love and you, the one person I love, are burning it to the ground.”
You watched Loki’s eyebrows raise, his eyes widening with the weight of what he had done. “Y/N,” he spoke again, trying to sit up. You pushed his shoulder down with your foot.
“Loki, please.” You begged, sniffling. You knew Loki hated to see her cry. “Don’t make this any harder for me than it already is.”
“I just wanted to be king.” He said, his eyes not leaving your tear stained face. His heart clenched at the sight of it.
“And I wanted to be your queen.” You breathed, trying to calm yourself. You pressed your foot farther on his shoulder, making him wince. You closed your eyes for a moment and when they opened, they were cold and dark. “But not like this.”
At the sound of glass crunching under a boot, you spun around. You stepped between Loki and the intruder, your gun raised and eyes glaring. You realized it was the other Avengers quickly, but kept your gun raised for a moment. You contemplated putting it down. That would risk one of them possibly harming Loki even further. Yet, these were your allies. What would they think of you defending the enemy?
“Agent L/N.” Steve’s voice was clear and brought you back to reality. You realized you’d spent a second too long pondering your decision.
You lowered your gun hesitantly but kept it in your hand. “Loki’s not going anywhere.” You said, your eyes focused on the slightly confused gazes of your allies.
You felt Loki’s arms wrap around you and a knife against your neck. “Not so fast, darling,” Loki smirked slightly as he looked over at the Avengers, who now had their weapons raised.
You sighed loudly and rolled your eyes. You flicked the knife away with your powers and dug it into Loki’s arm. When he released you with a yelp, you spun around and dug your knee into his stomach. As he stumbled back, you pulled a Natasha and twisted with your thighs around his head. You landed kneeling on the ground with his face down on it. You put the gun you still held against the back of his head. “I told you not to make this harder for me, my love.”
You stood up, pocketing your gun and leaving a stunned Loki on the floor. “You are already in the doghouse for turning my city into a battleground. Don’t dig yourself further into the hole.”
Loki turned onto his back, chest heaving.
“Is there some history we should know about, L/N?” Tony questioned, eyebrows raised as he stepped forward.
You sighed, placing your hand on your hip. “He’s my idiot.” You said, at the same time Loki said, “she’s my wife.”
The team's jaws nearly hit the ground collectively. “She’s your what?”
Thor walked forward, clearly tired of waiting to get his hands on Loki. “Yes, Lady Y/N and Loki are married.” Loki winced as Thor harshly lifted him up.
“Via Asgard, obviously.” You shrugged as if it was no deal. You looked at Natasha. “That’s where I’ve been disappearing to for the past two years and six years before we met.”
“How-“ Steve stopped himself, closing his eyes. “No. Enough crazy for one day. Let’s talk about this later.”
You all simultaneously agreed and moved on.
