Day 22 - Predator. I did Alien last year, only made sense to draw up Predator this year. This might be the last official entry for #inktober2017. Unless I manage to finish one tomorrow (Halloween). Bring on #inkvember2017!

Day 21 - Pennywise. I’m not a fan of “modern horror”. Nor am I a big fan of remakes. Which is what struck me odd when I saw the trailer for the new ‘It’. I was like… I… WANT… to see that! And it was awesome! It’s not perfect, and it might get a little too much acclaim, but it was very very good. And I told Hollyweird that by throwing down my hard earned cash… TWICE to see it theatrically. I was like, “Hey this is good art! Here, take my money! Take all the money!” Because that's what you do with good art!

Day 20 - Clover. I’ve seen Cloverfield a bunch of times… and even though I know he looks nothing like Godzilla, I just always assume I’m watching a “found-footage” Godzilla flick. But now that I’ve drawn this more insect like creature… I don’t know if I’ll see Cloverfield as Godzilla anymore. *shrug*

Day 19 - Freddy Krueger. One, two, Freddy’s coming for you… Three, four, Better lock your door… Five, six, grab a crucifix… Seven, eight, Gonna stay up late… Nine, ten, Never sleep again….

Day 18 - Samara. For the longest time (until the recent remake of “It”), I frequently would say that the American version of “The Ring” was the last good horror film. Not it’s insipid sequels. The first one. Cuz after that, we got all the jump scare, found footage crap. Sure the “premise” of ‘The Ring’ is… weak. But hey, suspend your disbelief and the rest of the film is a good scary ride. The scene at the end still gives me chills.

Day 17 - Leprechaun. “That’s a fucking a leprechaun! That’s rock star shit! The Leprechaun is amazing! I’ll eat your dog and shine your shoes, fuck you I’m a leprechaun! Magically delicious, yellow moons, pink hearts, fuck you! I’ll eat your dog and shine your shoes. They’ll eat your fucking dog, they’re not fucking around! AND they’ll shine your shoes. That’s a complete 180. I saw the movie, Leprechaun, years back. Awesome piece of film! They eat your dog, but they’ll shine your shoes. One minute, the next minute. And you know what, my dog is important because, my dog lic—but, fucking Leprechaun. Whoever came up with that by the way, fucking genius. They are drunk, they’re mean, they’re green, they got rotted teeth. All they care about is money. They are my agent! I’ll eat your dog and shine your shoes. Fuck you. Irish Spring! They’re wonderful little fucking creatures. And if you go outside when you leave here tonight, and you fucking see a leprechaun, you shoot that mother-fucking thing! Day 16 - Headless Horseman. This one was kinda fun, because the ‘Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ has been told so many times, and had so many iterations, that I wasn’t beholden to a certain look or style. Just needed a horse… a headless dude, and have him holding a head (or jack-o-lantern). Anything else is up for interpretation. Unlike some other things on my list, that have a very distinct look. If I wasn’t behind in the challenge, I might have explored it a lil more.

Day 15 - Sam. I’ve never seen ‘Trick 'R Treat’. I just thought this guy would be fun to draw.

Day 14 - Regan. I’ve only seen ‘The Exorcist’ once. That’s one scary flick.
