Feel free to send me requests via my ask/anon! I’ll try to get to it within a timely manner but it’ll depend on my schedule. I will have masterlists for each fandom I am apart of once I get the time to make them. I also have plans to write series for some fandoms, but it’s nothing pressing. All good things must come to an end.

The day came quicker than she had hoped.

Raven stood at the edge of town, eyes staring off into the distance.

Now, she must go.

She shrugged her bag over her shoulder some more, her body not wanting to leave just yet.

Goodbye Jimin.

Goodbye Yoongi.

Goodbye, everyone.

Stay safe and be happy.

I'm always watching over you.

Her feet lurched forward. Leaves and sticks snapped underneath her metal boots. Her white-cloak waved behind her, dancing with the wind.

Raven turned back one last time, watching plumes of golden dust float into the night sky.

Her guardians now freed from their duty.

A smile briefly graced her lips, disappearing as fast as it came. She turned, pulling the hood over her face some more.

And again, she started her journey.

Alone.

It felt strange to say that.

These past few months, she has been surrounded by those that love her.

And now, she abandons them for another.

But this journey isn't like her last.

No, she knows it will be much worse.

Raven knows.

She just doesn't care.

No amount of pain will ever stop her.

No.

She is stronger than that.

Much stronger.

Oh how interesting.

Diving into corruption are we?

Chapter 41: Painful Goodbye

No nightmares came.

Only a dreamless sleep.

Raven was scared.

She couldn't lie.

Her body tensed as the nightmare flashed before her eyes again.

It's too dangerous for me to be around them...

I need to stay away.

Just until I can save Corruption...

Raven watched the shore creep closer and closer. Her red hair fluttered in the wind, pushing it to the west.

She looked at the ring around her finger. The blue gem twinkled in the moonlight.

Everyone you love.

Will die because of you.

Love...

Is the pain worth it?

I love every single one of them.

And yet...

I can't do anything to save them.

I...

I need to learn more.

I need to continue my journey.

If Corruption isn't going to wait for me, then I am not waiting for him.

I will end this.

Raven stood.

She knows what she has to do now.

First, she needs to relieve Jackson and the others of their guardian duties.

They cannot come with her.

Then, she needs to write a letter...

Making it clear that she wasn't coming back for a long time. She has so much work left to do.

After the letter, she needs to gather supplies. She can get some from the ship...

And then, leave once they hit the shore.

With a single turn on her heel, Raven walked to her room. She sat at her desk, deciding on writing the letter first.

Dear Everyone,

Once you read this, I will already be gone. I'm sorry, I know I promised, but there is something that I still need to do.

Alone.

I know you will not understand. I know. I just need to do this alone.

I can't risk your lives any longer than I have.

I don't know when I will be back.

Or if I will be back.

I just know that in order for me to stop this curse, there is still more to learn. With the knowledge I currently have, I would barely survive the fight. I need to do this.

I'm sorry everyone. I know you want me to stay. Please, understand that I can't.

I'm sorry Jimin. I can't get married right now. Please, wait for me.

I'm sorry Yoongi. I can't let you protect me any longer. Please, protect Jimin for me.

I'm sorry Jackson, Jaebum, and all my guardians. I can't take you with me. As such, I am forced to relieve you of your guardian duties. But I have one last request to make of you...

Her heart cannot fall into your hands.

She isn't human like the rest.

So... she completed the Pilgrimage without falling?

How sickening.

I will go after the one thing that keeps her human.

A bolt of black lightning shattered the boat.

"JIMIN!"

Raven jumped into the water, frantically searching for her beloved.

She swam and swam.

Eyes desperate for the man she loves.

Finally, she spotted him, body floating in the water.

As fast as lightning, Raven swam to his side. Tears ran down her face as she checked for a pulse.

She couldn't feel one.

"Jimin..."

"Raven! Wake up!"

"Huh?"

Raven's eyes flew open, welcomed by Jimin's soft brown orbs. Worry cascaded into them, his soft hands cupping her checks.

"Are you ok?"

Immediately, she collapsed into sobs, wrapping herself around the prince. Jimin held her, kissing her head as she cried.

"I had a dream that everyone died."

Jimin pulled her off of him, eyes sincere.

"Raven, it was just a dream. No one will die. No one."

Raven sniffled, tears resting at the corners of her eyes. Jimin pressed his forehead against hers. His eyes peered into her own as she slowly relaxed.

"Come on, let's get back to sleep. We'll visit everyone in the morning to make sure they're ok, alright?"

Raven nodded, laying down once again. Jimin joined her, pulling her body close.

"Goodnight, love."

"Goodnight, Jimin."

Chapter 39: To Sera!

Raven leaned against the side of the ship, content. Her eyes scanned the ocean, her hair blowing with the breeze.

Jimin came up behind her, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Hey. Enjoying the view?"

Raven looked at him, shooting him a smile. She leaned closer him, enjoying his presence.

"Yeah, more now that you are here."

He smiled, blushing. He stared into her soft blue eyes, happy.

"Do you mind if I...?"

"Go ahead."

Jimin leaned down, slow and gentle. His plump lips soft against hers. His hand pulled her head closer. Her arms circled his head, hands in his hair. They pulled away, pressing their foreheads together.

"I've waited too long to do that."

Raven hummed, linking their hands together. He rubbed her cheek, giving her a peck on the head.

"Why don't we... head to my room?"

Raven smirked, following him.

Yoongi, having watched the entire scene, shook his head.

Yet, a smile still sat on his lips.

I'd rather see her with Jimin than any other man in this world.

The days rolled by, Sera crept closer and closer.

Jimin and Raven spent most of their time together. The others often joined them, happy to see the two together.

Each day filled with laughter.

Love.

And happiness.

Too bad it can't last forever.

"I can't wait to marry you, Raven."

"...Let's build an everlasting family together."

Chapter 38: Breathe

All she could see.

Black.

Darkness.

Corruption.

Imagines of death, destruction, pain all whirled by her.

She saw Sera sink.

Edyn flood.

Aria on fire.

Maris explode.

Thide ripped apart by wind.

This was the future.

She has failed.

Sadness snuck into her heart, sobs breaking free from her lips.

No.

This cannot be the future.

I will survive.

For the children.

Who bounce around innocently.

For the hopeful.

Who pray each day for peace.

For the kind.

For the smart.

For the evil.

For the vengeful.

They all have the right to live.

We have the right.

Breathe, Raven! BREATHE!

SURVIVE!

Raven's eyes flew open, her body shooting up from the bed.

She glanced outside the window of the room.

The night sky greeted her eyes, stars twinkling a bit brighter.

Raven stood, throwing the covers off of her.

She marched to the window, slamming her hands on the window sill. She stared out at the city before her, a vow etching into her skin.

She grinned, her eyes sparkling.

Her body moved as she breathed in and out.

"Time to give us light again."

Raven spun on her heels, marching out to the hall.

Still in the temple, I see.

She walked down the halls, purpose filling her soul again.

She spotted her friends, along with Jimin and his guards at the front entrance.

"H-how did she--?"

Yoongi fell to the floor, tears dropping to the ground. Jimin knelt down next to him, rubbing his back.

"Belle said that her body couldn't handle it. She's in a better place now..."

Jaebum gave him a sympathetic look, looking as if he too had been crying.

"I just got her back! I ---"

Raven approached them, hands knotted together in front of her.

"Hey boys."

They froze, staring at the redhead in awe.

"What? I have a mission to complete, I'm not letting anything stop me. Not even death."

Yoongi jumped up, practically tackling her in a hug. The others sprinted over as well, each hugging her.

They pulled away, some whipping tears from their eyes.

"So... where are you guys headed next?"

Raven kicked at the ground, a sweet smile on her lips. Her blue eyes locked with Jimin's brown ones, a smile appearing on his lips as well.

"You can join us when we go back to Sera."

Raven cheered, happy as can be. Her guardians laughed, happy that she stands before them.

"Let's get some rest, it's been quite the long day."

Chapter 37: Still Time

Wala and Pah lead Raven to a white marble table. Time sat at the head of the table, while Wala and Pah follow suit next to him. A bouquet of black starry flowers sit on the table, shimmering against the gold vase. A white and black tea set with clocks engraved sat in the middle, the tea pot hot. Raven sat down, resting her hands on the table.

Time watched her with care, curious. Wala poured Raven some tea, smiling sweetly down at the Golden One.

"Raven, dear, you, unlike most, have some time left. Not much, but more than what some have had."

Pah stared into her eyes, stars glistening. Time nodded along with him, agreeing with every word.

"Yes, you went through this much faster than the rest have. You have three more years until the imbalance gets the best of us. But... that also means, you have three more years until the final battle."

Raven nodded, taking in Time's word.

"That gives me three years to train... and to say goodbye."

"Yes, well we would hope that you would have a child as well."

"...With Jimin?!"

Wala nodded, a bright smile on her lips. Raven's eyes widened, body froze.

Oh hell no.

"We give you our blessing, Golden One, in hopes that you not only find peace for this world, but also for yourself. We stand with you on this journey, as one."

"As do I, the god of Darkness. I give you my blessing after watching carefully over the years. May you continue to have this determination through all your years."

Wait... where did he come from?!

Four different strings of light zipped to Raven, entering her body. A bright light encompassed the room, shooting through the top of the temple.

Her friends stood, panicked.

The Pope's eyes widened, her jaw dropped.

A beam of light shot through the middle of the room, startling them.

"RAVEN!"

Her eyes remained closed.

Body motionless.

The boys all ran up to her, shaking her and crying.

"Raven, please, wake up. Say something!"

The Pope shook her head, sad.

"She's gone. The blessings were too much for her tiny body. We'll give her a funeral in the morning, come now. We have preparations to make."

Chapter 36: Darkness Within

Raven fascinates Nox.

Unlike her counterparts, Raven accepted her own corruption formed from her neglecting her human self.

Most Golden Ones fight their corrupted self, thinking that they needed to destroy their human forms in order to save the world.

That is absolutely useless.

Nox believed Raven was going to fall upon the same path as the rest.

Yet, she didn't.

She strove for acceptance.

Just as she strives for the Blessed's acceptance...

Nice to see someone who follows their beliefs without any exceptions.

Let's see if she continues on this path.

Ah! Speak of the devil...

Here comes the little red head now!

Raven approached the Prayer Room, cautious. The Pope stood back with her friends, allowing her to enter alone. Shivers ran down her spine, time slowing as she got closer.

Her gut told her to run, but her legs kept going.

As the center of the Prayer Room drew closer, the tension thickened.

Until...

BOOM!

The three time gods appeared.

Each with curiosity bright in their portal eyes.

An older man, donning a neatly trimmed beard and hair, spoke up first, his voice booming. Numbers whizzed around him, varying in speeds, white smoke covered his body, forming a simple suit.

"Young one, it is a pleasure to finally meet you."

Raven bowed, gripping the edge of her kimono tightly.

"It is a pleasure to meet you too, Sir Time. As you both as well, Sir Pal and Lady Wala."

Lady Wala smiled, teeth shining bright. Her sun flamed hair flowed around her and Pal, much to his dismay. Bright orange and red formed her flowing dress, brightening and dimming randomly. Her sun eyes shone with happiness and care. Pal stands as the exact opposite. A starry suit donned his body, black hair with speckles of silver sat on his head. His moon colored eyes, still curious, yet slightly annoyed.

Lady Wala smiled, her sweet honeyed voice filled the air.

"You may stand child, we have much to discuss. Please, join us for some tea!"

Chapter 35: Time Out

Jimin wishes time would stop.

Just for a moment, just so he can catch his breath.

Between the civil war and moody Yoongi, any chance of peace dissipated, leaving behind chaos.

He cannot complain, he's a prince after all. It is his job to be the mediator between his people.

Unfortunately, he has no idea what being a Blessed is like. He understands what the Normals feel, he felt the same as well before he became open-minded.

Jimin, with the help of Hoseok's charisma, hopes he can open their minds.

He has to.

But...

Something else has been taking over his mind.

Raven.

The deadline is coming.

And he has yet to propose to her in real life.

He needs to act fast.

Time is running out, fast.

Only two more weeks.

"Lady Raven. How pleasant it is to finally meet you. As you know, I am Belle the Timeless, the pope here."

Raven stood, bowing to the pope. The others followed her example, muttering their names.

"Lady Belle, thank you for your warm welcome. Please, treat me as your equal and nothing more."

The pope smiled a warm smile.

She's... something else.

"Well, Raven, you are just as the gods say. But before we can get to know each other any better, allow me to lead you to the Prayer Room. The Time gods themselves need to speak with you. They have some... concerns they wish to address."

"O-oh yes, of course. Let's go immediately."

Chapter 34: Time Fell

Timefell rang, each bell sounding at noon. The seven guardians surrounded Raven, eyes darting around in amazement. They moved up the steps, to a large clock-like structure. Priests and priestesses wondered around the area, some read, others did chores.

As Raven approached the doors, time slowed. Two priest ran up to her, stopping her entirely.

"Miss, you cannot enter unless you are a priest or a priestess. The main temple is to the left, please head there to pray."

Before Raven could reply, the door started to react to her mark. A giant sun glowed in the clock, the tendrils shooting off of it. Everyone stopped what they were doing, backing away. The clock whirled around, arms running circles.

Raven fell to her knees, gripping her arm. Her eyes melted to gold, hair dyed white.

And just a second later, everything was normal again. Raven still sat on the ground, panting. Jaebum and Bambam rushed to her aide, lifting her up. Jackson's voice remained calm, depsite the worry coursing through his veins.

"Can we head inside?"

The priests nodded, unlocking the door for them. Jaebum and Bambam guided her inside, setting her down on the nearest bench. A priestess ran over, assisting the red head. Raven's breath remained uneven, only settling after a few minutes of relaxing on the bench. Priests and priestesses rushed about, trying to make her as comfortable as possible.

Brushing her bangs back, she stood. Raven's eyes met each of the worried men's eyes, confusion laced in ice blue.

"Why did I react like that?"

"Probably because of how close the Prayer Room is."

They turned their heads, meeting the eyes of one of the holiest people in Edyn.

The pope of time.

Chapter 33: Brother

The innkeeper's tired face greeted the group in their rooms, informing them of dinner time. He soon left, not caring if they ate at all.

Yugyeom made a face, unhappy with the treatment they were receiving.

"Why is he so down? You would think he would love all the business he is getting. We just barely booked this room in time!"

Raven sighed, giving Yugyeom a little nudge. The war between the four kingdoms may have been giving the man business, but he cannot keep up with all the requests. Many refugees from towns pour in every day, hunting for a place to stay. Those who got rooms, the rich folks, forced others into the streets, begging for money.

War life is tough, no matter who you are.

"Yugy, don't stress about him. The innkeeper probably has a lot more going on than we know, so don't judge him too harshly."

"...Fine. I won't. Say, Raven, what are we going to do about Yoongi? He is obviously corrupted and needs help."

Raven fell silent, a grimace appearing on her face. All of them looked at her, a sense of understanding flowing in the air. Youngjae, who sat beside her, placed a hand on her back, comforting her.

"He needs to be purified. That's the only way I can help him. Yoongi has been becoming corrupt for a long time, I just think my... disappearance, sent him deeper into the corruption. I don't quite have the ability to purify him though..."

Jackson tilted his head in confusion. Doesn't she have the power to purify all corruption, even the most deep-rooted corruption?

"What do you mean? I thought you could purify all types of corruption?"

"I can... but there are consequences to some. For example, the woman controlling you guys, she passed out. Her type of corruption can be easily purified without many consequences to the person themselves. If I purify Yoongi, in the stage I am in right now, I would kill him. Though, I doubt I can purify him at all without killing him..."

Raven's eyes teared up a bit. Youngjae held her, the others soon joining him.

"We will figure this out. We can save him, somehow."

Raven nodded, wiping her eyes dry.

The only way I can save him is to kill him.

It was a horrible truth.

Yoongi cannot be saved.

The corruption suffocates his soul, destroying it more and more each day.

The only hope for him, the only salvation, is his death.

She isn't ready to think about it, not now.

For now, she needs to focus on the temples remaining.

By evening, Raven should have the Blessings of the three gods of Time; Pah, Wala, and Time.

With their power, she can slow the spread of corruption in his body, potentially saving him.

I mustn't. Slowing his corruption just delays the inevitable...

Stop. First, the temple. Then, the main war. Then, Sera. AND then, Yoongi. Focus, Raven, focus.

Death to the beloved brother.

May he finally rest.

Chapter 32: Another Reunion

Taehyung watched the siblings embrace, tears also flowing. As soon as they separated, Taehyung practically tackled her.

"I knew you were alive..."

He let her go, allowing her to step back. She wiped her tears off, smiling.

"Taehyung."

Taehyung tilted his head, confused.

"Yes, Ray?"

Raven reached behind her, pulling Sora and Yumi forward. Sora had a hand over her mouth, sobs shaking her body. Yumi pushed her hood back, innocent eyes burning holes into Taehyung. Taehyung collapsed to his knees, grabbing ahold of Yumi's small shoulders.

"Y-Yumi. Oh my gods, Yumi! My baby girl!"

He pulled Yumi into a warm embrace, sobs escaping his mouth. Sora knelt down, pushing her hood back as well. Taehyung's eyes widened, an arm shooting out to pull her into the hug as well.

"Sora!"

Raven smiled at the sight, happy to see Taehyung with his family again. Tessa whipped away some tears, leaning her head against Raven's armored shoulder. Her mother cried, the touching moment reaching her heart. Her father hugging her mother, planting small kisses on the top of her head.

The small family pulled away, Taehyung whipping away their tears.

"What happened to you guys? I have spent months searching for you."

Sora smiled, turning towards Raven.

"Thank Raven. She saved everyone in this group from a horrible bandit selling people off. Before then, I was taken to some area just outside Seoul, but I think you got too close to finding it. They moved me to Aria, but some bandits had attacked and captured Yumi and I. I was planning on staying in the town we were in before then, just until we had enough supplies, but I couldn't. Yumi wanted to go home, and so did I, so here we are."

Taehyung jumped up, tackling Raven again.

"Oh, my gods."

Everyone laughed as Raven patted his back. His normally deep voice reduced to a whisper.

"Thank you for giving me my family back."

"...Anything for my best friend."

He squeezed her, causing a squeal to come from her.

Jimin stood off to the side, a fond smile resting on his face. His arms crossed over his chest, scrunching up his silver and gold embroidered suit. Hyuk bounced next to Jungkook, wanting to run over to Raven. Raven's eyes fell on Hyuk, him taking it as a sign to charge her for a hug. He wrapped his small arms around her legs, squeezing tightly. She let out a laugh, kneeling down to give him a proper hug.

"Hyuk! You have grown a lot since I last saw you. Have you been treating your brother well?"

Hyuk nodded, giving her a gummy grin.

"I've been the best brother, right Jimin?"

Jimin chuckled, walking over to the two. He rubbed Hyuk's head, causing him to whine.

"Yes, you have been.... except for the time you stole my cupcake."

Hyuk protested, punching his leg lightly. Jimin laughed, giving Raven a quick side hug. He leaned close to her ear, his whisper barely audible. Yoongi noticed Raven stiffening, raising an eyebrow.

Something is up...

She shook her head, whatever he said she strongly disagreed with.

"We have to go. I have a temple to see! Sora, Yumi, I'm assuming you are staying here with Tae?"

Sora nodded, having stood up. Taehyung draped his arm around her shoulder, the other occupied by a resting Yumi.

"If it is alright with the prince that is..."

Jimin smiled, allowing Sora to stay with them.

"I don't mind. I enjoy seeing Tae so happy."

"...Thank you. Boys, protect her, ok? We cannot afford to have such a bright light snuffed out again. And Raven... come back alive."

Raven smiled, waving the mother goodbye.

"Don't worry about me. It wouldn't be the first time I escaped death."

As she started to walk away, Yoongi grabbed her arm. Corruption oozed off of him, causing her powers to act up.

"Please... don't leave me."

Raven froze, her eyes softening.

"Yoongi... I have to go. I promise to meet you back here ok? And then we can travel back to Sera, together."

Corruption came off of him in small waves, causing Jackson to surge forward. He placed a comforting hand on his back, a smile creeping to his lips.

"We will protect her. We promise."

Yoongi looked at him, eyes locking onto his. The corruption waves died down but still remained. He let Raven go, his arm falling defeated to his side. Jackson and Mark led Raven away, while the others enclosed them in a circle.

That interaction meant only one thing.

Yoongi is now a source of corruption...

A blood oath turned sour.

Corruption feeding his firepower.

Light almost snuffed out.

Time bending, nearing the fallout.

Give him hope.

Be his rope.

His chain.

To humanity.

Long live the Golden One.

Chapter 31: Edyn

"I-I... accept."

"Really?! You don't have to, I will understand if you don't wanna be my queen!"

"Jimin! I love you, why wouldn't I accept?!"

The words just flew out of her mouth, shocking them both. Jimin knew already that she loved him, but hearing it from her felt different.

He was happy.

Jimin pulled her close, lifting her chin up. His soft lips collided with her warm ones. Her hands flew to his hair, pulling him closer. Jimin's other hand held onto her waist as he brushed strands of hair away. All the love they felt for each other, all the longing, was shared in that kiss. They pulled away, a little out of breath.

"Whoa..."

Raven giggled, a bright red blush on her cheeks. Jimin bite his lip again, wanting another kiss.

"I... I love you, Raven."

Before Raven could reply, she jolted awake. Jackson stood in the doorway, smiling knowingly.

"What?"

"Nothing! We are at Timefell. You might want to get changed, the royal ship is here too."

Jackson smirked, walking away. Raven jumped up, closing the door before anyone else could bother her. She looked down at her clothes, noting that she hasn't changed since she was in the desert.

Sure, she has taken baths, but the clothes she was wearing are the only clothes the gods gave her.

Maybe...

Raven opened her bag, finding her normal travel clothes folded neatly in it.

Thank you.

Raven changed, putting her old clothes into her bag. She adorned all-white attire, silver armor covering her mark on her right arm. She adjusted the bow holding the white kimono together, making sure it stays in place on her side. A silver armored boot, glistening in the sunlight, protected her right leg. On her left leg, a white boot, with a black sole, went up to her knee. Her right shoulder stays exposed, while her forearm hid under a blanket of white. At the edge of the sleeve, a black line stood out, much like the pattern on her kimono. Raven took some pins from her bag, tying her hair back into a ponytail, only leaving her bangs flowing to the left. She pulled up her white hood, in case her brother was on the harbor, doing his duty.

Raven grabbed her stuff, joining Sora, Yumi, and her guardians above the ship. The carriage sat on the dock, the horse neighing loudly. Irene's crew worked to put their stuff in the carriage, some petting the horses as they walk past. Irene approached Raven from behind, nudging her with her elbow.

"Everything ok?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. I promise."

Irene noticed the sincerity in her voice, the way she was holding herself now.

She's stable.

Irene smiled, leaning close to her so that only Raven can hear her.

"I knew you could do it. Stay strong."

Raven returned her smile, hugging her.

"Thank you, Irene. I promise to repay you back someday. I think we are going to go book a place to stay and look around town."

"Anytime. We'll be here for a while, so feel free to visit."

Raven nodded, giving her another hug. The others hugged her as well, thanking her a thousand times. Before the group headed off the ship, Raven turned to Sora and Yumi.

"I think it would be best for you to keep your hoods up. Once we get past the docks, it'll be safe to have them down. It's just that some of the people here... aren't the model citizen."

Sora nodded, understanding what she was saying. She knelt down to Yumi's height, pulling her hood up. She did the same, making sure to tuck her hair back. The group filed off the ship, walking past their carriage.

They made it far enough from the ship to see a long line of ships beside them. More were still coming in, some military, some trade. The Seran royal ship sat docked just a few ships down from them.

How did they get here before us?

A blonde woman stood in front of the ship. A tiara sat on top of her head, dark blue dress flowing behind her. She looked about, her hazel eyes scanning her surroundings. Her eyes fell on Raven, widening at the sight of her. Raven held up a single finger to her lips, not wanting Yoongi to find out she was alive from someone screaming her name. The princess slipped away, making an excuse for her parents. She quickly jogged over to her, wrapping her arms around Raven.

"Raven! Oh, my gods, it is so good to see you. Heading to the temple?"

"It's great to see you too, Tessa. It has been a while. Yes, we are heading to the temple in a bit. We are just going to look around town first."

Tessa smiled, giving everyone else a nod.

"If you don't mind me asking... why is the royal ship here?"

Tessa turned, looking at the ship.

"Oh! Prince Jimin and Prince Hyuk are here on vacation. He brought his guards with him too. Apparently the civil war is getting pretty bad in Sera so his parents ordered them to leave the kingdom for a bit."

Raven tensed, catching Tessa off guard. Tessa has never seen Raven react so negatively towards something.

The civil war must have an impact on her.

At that moment, Raven felt an overwhelming sense of longing to see Yoongi. She misses her brother, a lot.

This might be a mistake... but I need to see him.

"Is... is there any way I can meet them with you and your parents? I-I need to talk to one of Jimin's guards."

Her guardians tensed, the memory of her telling them about Yoongi flashing through their head. Sora placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, eyes softening. Mark protested, remembering what happened at the Arian docks.

"Raven... are you sure?"

"Don't worry, he won't do anything to hurt me... I don't think he would anyway. Tessa, would it be possible?"

Tessa examined her, noting the tense stature her body was in and the pleading look in her eyes. She nodded, linking arms with her. Tessa led her to where her parents stood, greeting them with a bow.

"Tessa... who are these people?"

"Um, mom, dad, this is Raven and her friends. She saved my life a long time ago. One of Prince Jimin's guards is her brother, so she wants to see him."

Her parents nodded, her mother examining Raven's face. Raven smiled, trying not to set off any red flags. Jimin, Hyuk, and his guards marched off the ship, stopping in front of the group. Raven moved silently behind Jackson, covering her face a bit. Tessa and her parents greeted the group, giving the princes hugs. Jimin's eyes fell on Raven's group of friends, wondering who they were. Tessa stepped back, gesturing towards them.

"This is some friends of mine that wanted to see you..."

Just as she started to introduce them, Raven took off her hood. Her icy blue eyes locked with Yoongi's depressed brown ones. His eyes widened, hands flying to his mouth. Raven gave him a sad smile, tears starting to flow down her cheeks. Yoongi bolted towards her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug. Tears fell onto her back, sobs racking through his entire body.

"Hey, Yoongles... I'm alive."

Chapter 30: Love?

Raven couldn't express her gratitude for Irene. Irene became her mother, despite being only a few years older than her. She made it her point to sit down with Raven to work through the thoughts swirling in her head. Her emotions change so much that Raven cannot make sense of what she feels at all anymore.

Raven sighed, shaking her head. Her ice-blue eyes stared off into the star-light ocean. Red hair blew across her face, prompting her to fix it calmly. Bambam approached, placing a hand on her shoulder. Raven jolted, not expecting him to appear out of nowhere.

"Oh, my gods! Bambam!"

Bambam laughed at her reaction. He ran a hand through his white locks, looking out into the ocean as well.

"Wow.... the ocean is so pretty at night!"

"Yeah, it is..."

Bambam glanced at her, moving his hand to hers. He squeezed it reassuringly, his warm hand warming up her cold one.

"Raven... are you sure everything is ok?"

Raven continued to stare off into the ocean, not sparing him a glance.

"Yeah. I'm fine, still trying to get used to the Blessing is all."

Bambam nodded, not believing her at all. He decided not to pressure her, instead opting to comfort her.

"If you ever need to talk, we are here. You should sleep though, you look really tired."

Raven looked down. She wanted to avoid sleeping as much as possible right now but she knew he was right. Raven needs to sleep, she hasn't slept in twenty-four hours.

"Yeah... you are right. I'll head to bed now, make sure to get some sleep yourself, ok? Goodnight, Bambam."

Bambam looked at her, noticing her tense body.

Something is up...

"...Goodnight, Raven. Sleep well."

Bambam placed a kiss on her cheek, causing her to stiffen a tiny bit. He let go of her hand, allowing her to bow and run off to bed.

Raven collapsed on her bed, exhausted and confused. A faint blush sat on her cheeks, her hand sitting where Bambam kissed her.

She wasn't expecting him to kiss her.

But...

Strangely enough, Raven doesn't feel... overwhelmed by it? It is as if her crush evaporated.

"What is going on with me?!"

Raven rubbed her face, deciding to sleep on it for now. She closed her eyes, following asleep immediately.

Jimin's face greeted her, worry in his eyes.

"Where have you been?!"

Jimin wrapped his arms around her, giving her a tight hug. He was clearly worried, probably thought she died.

"I haven't had the time to sleep... I'm sorry."

"Hey... there is no need to apologize. Make sure to take care of yourself. Where are you headed off to now?"

Jimin let go of her, leading her to a root. She sat down, fixing her dress. Jimin's hand intertwined with hers, his soft brown eyes staring into her gentle ice blue ones.

"We are heading off to Edyn, specifically Timefell."

"Really?! I am heading there too with Yoongi and my brother. I left Newsham two nights ago."

"We just barely missed each other!"

Raven laughed, covering her mouth. Jimin's gave her an astonished expression.

"You were at Newsham too?! Why didn't you stop by the royal ship?!"

Raven's laugh died down, dimming to a sad smile.

"Yoongi would have dragged me back to Sera. I need to complete my quest, Jimin."

Jimin sighed, running his hand through his silver locks. He really wants her to come back, but she can't. Her Pilgrimage comes first.

"Promise me you'll come back. Sera needs you as its queen."

Raven's eyes widened, taken back by his statement.

"Queen?!"

Jimin nodded, biting his lip. He looked away, a blush appearing on his cheeks.

"Y-yeah. O-only if you want, though. I'm not going to pressure you at all."

Raven's cheeks turned bright red. Jimin gave her a hopeful, but understanding look.

Q-queen Raven...

"I-I..."

Chapter 29: High Seas

It took about an hour for everyone to get settled on the ship. Raven sat on a box, leaning against the mast. She watched the dock to Newsham go farther and farther away. Raven's eyes trained on the royal ship sitting just two ships away. Not much activity could be seen on the ship, just a few members of the royal crew chatting.

They must be getting supplies.

"Raven."

Irene's voice broke Raven from her trance. Her blue eyes flickered to meet Irene's soft brown ones. Raven nodded, getting off the box she was sitting on. She followed Irene to her room, sitting in a soft purple chair as soon as she got inside. Irene sat on the other side of her desk, staring into Raven's eyes.

"How much do you know about the civil war?"

Raven looked away briefly, sighing.

"I know it's gotten worse. I'm guessing the docks were turned into a battlefield, right? That's why you were at Newsham. I'm sure trading isn't doing well right now either. I know my brother has been... acting out. I just... I don't know... feel like it's all my fault, you know? If I hadn't used my powers, the war still would have been --"

"Raven, stop. What is happening now isn't your fault. The war still would have ended up this way, regardless. Your brother can be saved, and so can Sera. You need to focus on your Pilgrimage, that is the only way you can help Sera."

Raven fell silent, looking at her lap. Irene's eyes softened, noticing her guilt.

"The civil war isn't your fault. You can't control how people feel about each other, but there is hope for Sera. I mean, just look at Yumi. She is a product of a Normal and a Blessed. Yumi's very existence alone has shown us that Normals and Blessed can coexist, even love. We just need to put in a little more effort."

Raven looked up, locking eyes with Irene. Irene smiled, trying to give her some form of comfort.

"Now enough about Sera, I wanna hear from you. How are you feeling?"

"I'm doing fine, for the most part. I just got the Blessings of Mirka and Amid..."

Irene's brown eyes widened, shock evident.

"How are your emotions? I know you had said something about them going haywire because of the twin gods' blessing."

Raven sighed, shaking her head.

"Yeah... my emotions haven't been the best, obviously. I... um... found love in someone..."

"REALLY?! THAT'S FANTASTIC! WHO?!"

Irene stood, knocking her chair back. Her hands sat firmly on her desk, her brown eyes excited. This was the first time Raven has ever spoken about love before, to anyone. Irene couldn't contain her happiness.

"Yeah... about that... I know for a fact who it is, but since my emotions have been so... weird? I can't help but feel... things... for someone I know."

Irene noticed the confusion on Raven's face.

Raven has no idea what is happening to her, huh? Poor girl.

Irene pulled a seat next to her, placing a hand on hers.

"Your emotions aren't the best right now. The emotionally-stable Raven wouldn't feel so bad about the war or crush on a guy. Who is the guy? I won't tell, promise."

Raven looked away, blushing a bit. She spoke in a soft whisper, making sure that only Irene can hear her.

"I am in love with Park Jimin."

And someone else named Bambam but I think the emotions are just getting to me.

I hate this.

Irene gasped, covering her mouth.

"No way! Oh, my gods! Ok, I will do my best to help you figure this out. For now, just try to relax and enjoy your trip across the high seas!"

Chapter 28: Old Friends

Raven pulled her hood up, trying to remain hidden from the potential Yoongi.

If Yoongi sees her, he will take her back to Sera right away. Raven can't go back yet, there are still things she has to do.

Mark placed a comforting had on her back, guiding her to the captains. The captains stopped laughing, questioning the presence of the two. Mark spoke up first, keeping his hand on Raven's back.

"Um, excuse me. Is there any way one of you guys can take us to Edyn?"

The captains looked at each other, raising their eyebrows. One of the captains, an older well-built man, stood. He approached Raven, lifting her chin up to see her face better.

"My... aren't you a pretty one?"

Mark tensed, pulling Raven behind him. He stepped in between her and the captain, glaring at the man.

"Please, don't touch her without her permission."

The captain laughed, turning to the others behind him. They joined in too, mocking Mark. The older captain turned around suddenly, throwing a punch at Mark. Mark caught his fist, his eyes darkening. Raven yelped, grabbing Mark's arm. Mark glared at the man, his aura glowing black. A guard noticed what was happening, moving over to them quickly.

"Is there a problem over here?"

Mark steeled his gaze, warning the man to not do anything with his eyes.

"I don't know, is there?"

His voice filled with venom, scaring the captain. The captain pulled his fist back, shaking his head no.

"N-no."

The guard grumbled, heading back to his post. Mark took Raven by the hand, pulling her away from the captains.

Yet another captain approached them, again taking another interest in Raven.

This time, he was a bit more forceful. He pushed Mark away, grabbing Raven's arm, squeezing where her mark sat. The captain started to pull Raven away from him, causing Mark to bolt up. Before Mark could react, Raven's mark started to glow. The man jumped back, pulling his hand away.

Mark wrapped his arm around her shoulders, sighing.

"Does no one here have manners?"

Raven giggled, a small smile forming on her lips.

"This happens a lot, I've gotten used to it, unfortunately. Arian captains can be a bit... forceful."

"That's just sad. I'll do my best to protect you."

The duo finally found the Seran captains. The captains noticed them, watching them approach. Raven spoke for them this time, being a citizen of Sera.

"Hello, my name is Raven, this is Mark. My friends and I are looking for safe transport to Edyn. Is there any way that one of you could take us? We promise what we can to help out on the ship to repay you."

One of the captains, a female, looked Raven up and down. A smirk formed on the woman's face, a plan forming in her head.

"Now, Miss. Raven... you said anything right?"

Raven understood what she was hinting at, noticing the mischief in the woman's eyes.

"To an extent. I am not willing to do something that makes me uncomfortable. Though, I know that you wouldn't allow such a thing to happen, would you Miss. Yeri?"

The woman grinned, the mischief seeping to her lips. Yeri couldn't believe that Raven remembered her.

"We leave as soon as possible. Bring your friends over and we will head out. Irene will be so happy to see you, Ray."

Raven smiled, thanking the woman. Mark and Raven ran back to the carriage, informing the others. Sora and Yumi ran over to Raven, giving her a tight hug.

"Oh hey! I thought you guys were staying at the temple?"

They pulled away from her, Sora giving her a kind smile.

"We decided to go back to Sera. Is it alright if we join you guys?"

Raven looked at the others, each contemplating their request. After a few seconds, Jinyoung nodded.

"Yeah, just stay close, ok?"

Yumi squealed, hugging Jinyoung's legs. Sora smiled, hopeful for the journey ahead of them.

"Let's go, the ship is waiting for us. Sora, Yumi, get in the back. Raven, sit in the front with Jackson."

Everyone followed Jaebum's orders, not wanting to hold up the ship any longer. Jackson made sure to keep an eye on the captains, many watching them closely. The made it to Yeri's ship, her crew running over to load their stuff onto the ship. Raven jumped off the carriage, wanting to help. Yeri approached her with a beautiful older woman. The woman smiled brightly, hugging the redhead.

"Raven! It's so good to see you!"

"It's great to see you too, Irene!"

Irene's eyes darted behind her, noticing Sora and Yumi. Her eyes softened at the sight of Yumi's amazed face. Sora guided Yumi to the three women, giving them a smile.

"Hello, my name is Sora. The little one is Yumi. Thank you so much for taking us to Edyn."

"It's no problem. Any friend of Raven's is a friend of ours. Let's get you two on the ship and into your room."

Yumi gasped, excited.

"WE GET OUR OWN ROOMS?!"

Yeri laughed, taking Yumi's other hand. She led the two onto the ship, nodding. Yumi bombarded her with questions, wanting to know everything. Irene's smile widened a bit, turning to Raven.

"We have a lot to discuss. Once your stuff gets on board, come see me."

Raven nodded, watching her friends bicker over who gets to stay with her. Raven sighed, shaking her head.

"Yeah, I know. I'll be up in a bit, I think I might have to break up a fight."

Irene laughed, hugging Raven again.

"Really, it's good to see you, Raven. I'm glad that you are with us still."

Raven smiled sadly, turning towards the bickering group. As Raven walked away, Irene thought about Sera. The civil war gets worse every day that Raven isn't there to stop it. The war has taken it's a toll on Irene's crew, being entirely Blessed. She had no choice but to leave Sera for the safety of herself and her friends. The Normals have kept any Blessed ships from docking at Busan. Busan's docks often become a battlefield. Trading has essentially halted, lessening the amount of food there.

The war hasn't been this bad in months. After Normals attacked Daegu, and Raven "died," Blessed had enough. They weren't sitting back any longer, not after the loss of someone important.

Irene knew one thing.

Raven feels responsible for the civil war.
