Léon: Sniffs  "I gues I'll just stay with my book. Everything I try to cook burns."

Léon: "Okay, Zoe - revising time!'

Zoe: "Let me guess: you burned another dish, didn't you."

Ella: "II should totally be able to kick an old lady's butt when it comes to a silly game of chess."

Rainia: "Whatever you say, sweety. Oh, and by the way: checkmate."

Ella got herself an easel so she could practice her painting skills in the comfort of her own bedroom.

Even in the afterlife they worry about physical condition.

With the winter approaching, Zoe had been thinking about talking to her parents about getting something of a greenhouse, in which she would be able to place her plants.

The garden was still quite empty except for the vegetable plants and fruit trees. They bought a see-saw, 'cause for some reason the teens begged their parents to get one. After a week no one was using it any more. 

Ghostly Cinnamon prefers sleeping on a comfy chair instead of in the cold, dark ground.

Zoe had put her bot building skills to some real use. The Gardner family welcomed simbot Lexi to their household. Besides being a terrific cook, cleaner and mechanic, she is also really friendly and social. 

Her human reactions to ghost stories are still...lacking.

Kaiden: "These awful teenagers keep pulling pranks on the elderly. This needs to stop!"

Zoe: "Dad, I swear, it was only just a joke! I didn't mean for uncle Kaiden to get upset."

Léon: "Don't worry, he shouldn't be so grumpy. He used to pull a lot of pranks when he was your age too."

Ella: "Beating a silly metal machine at chess? Psh, of course I can do that!"

Céline showed up one night in et ghost form and took her nap in her old room. （；へ：）

Zoe: "Stand still, Lexi, or I'll mess up this unit.... See, that wasn't so bad!"

What's a better way to stay warm during the cold winter than to share body heat?

Kaiden turned out to be one of those super grumpy elders. When he's at the house, he's either making inappropriate forum posts that never get a response, or he's complaining about life in general to his family members. When he's outside fishing, he seems to forget how to be angry. 

Zoe: "If I enter this string of code and then press this... No wait, the're no balance like that. Oh, I know! I just need to format this piece of data here..."

Ella: "Sit up, Flea! That's a good boy!"

Zoe: "Come on, Lexi, move those gears! We don't want you to get rusty!"

Zoe got her little greenhouse, complete with a gardening station. 

Zoe: "No slacking allowed! I need you all to grow really tall! You can do this!"

YOLO.

Léon: "Uggghhh... noise..."

Wait, how did the table get set on fire.

Léon: "You guys got this, right? I'm going to watch some TV."

Rainia: "ZOE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU JUST MADE IT WORSE."

Zoe: "I'M DOING WHAT I CAN, YOU'RE JUST STANDING AROUND!"

Time for Ella's birthday!

She gained the ambitious trait. 

So that's why there are so many friggin' snowmen outside. 

Ella: "Flea, stop hiding! I'm trying to pain you."

Ella finished the painting eventually and what's a better place to put it up it than above the litter box?

Don't forget about this plant, Zoe! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ

Zoe got rid of the children's toys in her room, since Ella wasn't showing any interest in them either. Begging her parents for some money, she managed to scrape enough money together for a bot-building station.

Zoe: "So if I just put this part here... "

Living on a deserted island sure makes you go crazy. Sometimes you just get so fed up with seeing the same faces all day, you start talking to yourself in the mirror. 

When Zoe got the bot-building station, Ella insisted  that she would get something cool too. Her mother trusted her enough to buy her a chemistry table. 

Léon and Rainia celebrated their wedding anniversary. Since there wasn't really anywhere romantic they could go to celebrate, they decided to go for a swim together.

Rainia: "Hah! Gotcha!"

Kaiden: "THEY LEFT ME ALONE WITH THE CHILDREN. I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!"

Cinnamon sometimes came to visit during the night. Flea was kind of happy that there was an animal friend around  (even if it wasn't actually alive). 

Summer weather had been complete rubbish so far. The island got so much rain, but Zoe was determined to keep the garden in perfect shape. 

STOP EATING ALL THE FOOD. YOU'RE GHOSTS. YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO EAT.

Ella: "Ruling a kingdom sure makes you tired. And don't get me started on all those peasants, ugh."

Summer was nearing its end, and that's when the sunny days appeared. 

Ella: "So, Flea. Why are you always inside, I mean - maybe you can catch some little critters."

Flea: ...

Ella: "...Okay fine, nevermind."

That went a little wrong.  

Noooo, the TV broke! And right when I was watching the latest Game of Gnomes episode... 

Ella: "Oh boy! It's my birthday!"

Léon: "Oh no... sniffs ... my precious bird..."

Ella: "Let's see if I can make a happiness potion or something to cheer up dad."

Léon: "Thanks for that, you're the best daughter in the world!"

Kaiden: "Stupid electronics... always breaking... I need my sweet, sweet tunes..."

Léon: "I may be getting older, but I still know how to move!"

Zoe: "Dad, just please don't."

Ella: "Uncle, please. That is not what I want to see when I have just woken up."

Léon: "I will make some dinner for my lovely family, because I just love them so  much!"

Léon: "Oops."

Rainia: "Honey! What did you do?!"

Flea: ...strange tingly feeling.. maybe I should alert the humans... but they're too busy screaming their heads off in the kitchen...

Flea: Why do I feel even more lazy than usual? Why is my fur starting to turn grey? Oh nooooo.... 

Léon: "I extinguished the fire! Time to have my birthday!"

Zoe: "Yeah! I'm smarter than you, dad! I can't believe you didn't know to which taxonomic order the llamas belong. It's just so obvious!"

Zoe: "Yeah whatever. I'm just going to talk to Peaches, he is way more interesting."

The baby room got turned into Ella's room. 

Léon: "Why do I have to be the one to repair the bathtub? You're way better at fixing things."

Zack: "I just turned 105, do you really expect me to do something like that?"

Zoe and Ella could almost always be found in the same room.

Flea's scratching post got upgraded and he now has a feline fort!

The Gardner family barely left their island, but Kaiden decided to do so one day to see if he could find some rare seeds he could plant in the garden.

Ella refused to sleep in her bed that night, so she crawled into bed with her mother, making her dad sleep in her monster-infested bed.

Ella: "W-what was that?" (　ﾟдﾟ)

Ella: "I can't take this!" (;° ロ°)

Me? Oh, I'm just having breakfast in my robot form with my deceased grandmother's ghost, while my imaginary friend just walks into the kitchen.

It's summer and the temperature skyrockets during the day. What is a better way to cool down than by having a water balloon fight?

Zack: "...? Oh come on! I was so close to turning 110 years old!"

Ella: "...My great-uncle's ghost? The Grim Reaper? Oh no!"

Grim: "...is that your granddaughter?"

Zack: "Fortunately not."

Zack begged for the Grim Reaper to let him live just for a little while so he could die at 110 years of age instead of 109. Grim, however, thought he had already lived long enough and didn't listen to Zack's wishes and took him with him.

Zoe: "Hey, El? Are you okay? Seeing all that, I mean..."

Ella: "NO, I AM NOT FINE. I AM SO DONE WITH ALL THESE STUPID GHOSTS. "

Zoe: "Whoah, calm down, little sister. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about that, so you might as well get used to it."

Zoe: "So many people in this house and no one feeds me..."

Rainia: "Say 'I love you' ! "

Zoe: "Food!"

Lita: "Who's my favorite granddaughter? You are!"

I swear this interaction is the cutest.

Flea has taken over Céline's old room and sleeps on the perfectly made bed every night. 

Baby time! It's another girl. Her name is Ella and she's good and excitable.

They won't get any unexpected visits from burglars, but if they did they wouldn't stand a chance against this tough old lady. 

Kaiden: "Shush little Ella. I'm your awesome uncle and your life will be amaaaaazing~" 

Zoe learned how to use the potty!

While Flea the cat had taken over the bed, Rainia had started using the sculpting station Céline always used. Rainia didn't really have any other skills to earn money for the household, so she took it upon herself to learn something new. 

Birthday time! 

She gained the Bot-Fan trait. Not really sure how that will play out...

Zoe was so happy she could finally play with Flea.

I mean, living on a deserted island does get kind of boring. Snowmen galore!

Little Ella's birthday was forgotten by everybody (including me) somehow. It was a total surprise when it turned out she got the hair color of the legacy starter, Evelyn. 

Lita: "Hey, I heard Ella had her birthday! Let me just get inside real quick to check out my pretty granddaughter. Ehm.. what's that?"

Lita passed away ;w; Her tombstone was placed next to Eloi's. 

Zoe liked spending her afternoons in knee-deep snow, playing with that silly toy some aunt sent her.

Robot mode activated!

Zoe: "Peek-a-boo! Ehm.. I mean 'Bleep Blop Bleep'!"

Zoe moved in to her grandparents' old room. She liked the way the walls and floor looked, so they only put in new furniture.

Can't stop taking screenshots! She's so adorable~ 

Zoe: "Come on, dad - let's have a pillow fight!"

Léon: "Ugh, no - stop, please stop hitting me!"

Birthday time for Rainia. She also got a midlife crisis...

Even though the pillow fight didn't go well, Léon put his issues with children aside and read his eldest daughter a bedtime story.

Zack had really turned into a grumpy old man and he did nothing besides complaining about life. Somehow little Ella seemed to be the only one to bring him joy.

Rainia: "I don't know if we're ready for this, oh dear..."

She went to Léon to tell him the happy news, fully aware of the fact that he dislikes children. But hey, she would have to tell him.

Léon: "Meh, I guess we'll just have to live with it."

Kaiden: "G-g-good kitty..."

Some bonding over a good game of chess. 

Rainia: "Where are you going, gramps? You can't leave just when I'm about to beat you."

The Grim Reaper showed up for Eloi.

Rainia: "At least I was about to win that game."

Eloi agreed to go with Grim to the other side. 

ლ(ಠ_ಠლ) ......... 

So ehm.. Thanks for cleaning out the litter box? 

...Or you could just drop that there. Yeah. No problem. He left after that. 

Eloi's stone was placed with his parents' stones. 

And just when times couldn't see more Grim, a ray of light breaks through the clouds. Sadly, Eloi couldn't be there to witness the birth of his grandson.

The Gardner family welcomes little Zoe, who is absent minded and a couch potato.

Léon wasn't looking forward to being a dad, but once he held little Zoe in his arms, his mind started to change.

The only spare room in the house got turned into a baby room.

Zack: "I just don't get why we still get a newspaper on a deserted island..."

Rainia was the first person in the house to befriend Flea. Snuggles ensued.

Céline: "Stand still boy, or I can't get your features right."

Lita: "Oh, Zoe. If only your grandfather would still be here, he would've loved you so much."

Make way, make way, for the cutest toddler ever. She's got Léon's (and therefore Lita's) hair and brown eyes but those could coume frome both her mom and dad. 

Spending some quality time with grandma. Lita had harrased Léon and Rainia multiple times, telling them that it's never too early to teach your toddler how to walk, talk, and use the potty.

Stupid ghosts walking through the walls in the middle of the night and turning on the radio's, waking everyone up. 

Evelyn spent the entire night haunting the vegetable garden. 

Flea is happy he isn't the only small creature in the household any longer.

Birthday time for Léon!

Lita: "And this is your wonderful granddaughter Zoe. Isn't she precious?"

Kaiden: "Oi, Léon! You can't keep dodging those snowballs, that's no fun!"

Céline: "Yeeeaaaah, you're a weird little snow man aren't you? I'm going inside now to warm up and you can't, 'cause you'll melt. Hah!"

Rainia: "Look at that delicious fish he's cooking! I bet you would like a bite of that, wouldn't you Flea?"

Oh.

Grim: "Yeah, you're coming with me!"

Céline agreed to go with Grim, thinking the afterlife might be a bit more exciting than making sculpture after sculpture to financially support the family on a deserted island.

Céline's gravestone was super fancy, because she had over 150k happiness points that she didn't get a chance to spend...

Zack: "...thank you guys, for being wonderful siblings. I'll see you soon."

Léon: "That's my girl, good job!" 

 He was slowly overcoming his dislike of having a toddler in the house, but little did he know....

...that there would be a second one soon.

So when Léon, Kaiden and Rainia got back from their stay in Al Simhara, they found that while they were gone an strange phenomenon had happened. Somehow their world seemed more alive - you could even still see other islands surrounding theirs. However, they were still all alone.

The family had built a new house that was much roomier than their first. This, of course, was great, but everyone needed some time to adjust to the massive changes...

Rainia: "All alone on an island... how strange..."

Léon was extremely happy when he found out their new house had three bathrooms of which two had baths in them. He was so used to sharing one crappy shower with all the other family members. 

Lita vowed that she would keep her aging body in shape by practicing her bord breaking skills.

In their previous home, Zack's miner had to make room for access to the basement so he hadn't used it in a while. 

♥(✿ฺ´∀`✿ฺ)ﾉ  I swear they are so cute oh my god.

More room for gardening! Eloi had given his eldest son a share of the previous harves so that he could increase his gardening skill (Kaiden was still at 3). Now they have a lot of fresh tomatoes and cabbages to look out to. Also gardening in your pyjamas while being really smelly but that's okay, 'cause he's too cool for pants and showers.

The tombstones of Evelyn, Matthias and Cinnamon had gotten a nice spot between some flowers. 

Céline: "Hey little one! Yes... I remember you..."

Léon: "Such a pretty bird! Hey buddy, can I keep you?"

And so Lory joined the Gardner household and spent her days making lots of noise, flying around the living room and basically being annoying.

Love is in the air! (‘∀’●)♡

Besides making sure her body remains in good condition, Lita also spends time on her soul by meditating. 

Stargazing under the full moon.

Rainia: "... It was a camel."

Léon: "Oh my - You're hilarious!"

This little fluffy thing was wandering outside all alone. They took him in and named him Flea. 

Lory: "Haha, how is THAT a cat?"

Léon and Rainia finally shared their first kiss.

Rainia: "Oh my - that was so good."  *sniffs

Flea is shy, but he's slowly getting to know every family member.

Léon: *grumbles* "I should've made Kaiden take care of this..."

Flea meeting Cinnamon.

Léon got to pick another trait because he had a lot of influence in the nerd group. He rolled proper, so he would dress up often. And then he would play in the rain puddles. 

It was time for Kaiden's birthday.

Léon: "Wow. You look old."

Kaiden: "..."

Eating cake with the whole family. 

It just looks so silly.

So yeah. That happened.

Rainia: "Wow, hey! Watch out, Flea, I almost stepped on you!"

Flea: へ(゜∇、°)へ

Lita: "Hah, you old man. I bet you can't hit me."

Eloi: "We'll see about that!"

Léon and Rainia had a late summer wedding under the light of the setting sun. 

And of course Rainia bawled her eyes out. 

Céline: "I can't believe you came to this wedding in your pyjamas, Kaiden."

Kaiden: "I KNOW THEY LOVE ME FOR WHO I AM AND I LOVE THEM FOR THAT."

Flea grew up and he still looks silly. 

Then a fire broke out because someone was cooking and accidentally left food in the oven to watch the wedding.

...Then again, maybe it wasn't an accident. (ﾟｰﾟ;
