#newmoonwhodis ✨🌕🙌🏾 . . . . i really have to remind myself that to get better at the things i love, i have to first try, but not stop there...I have to practice, really commit + be disciplined. i have been so critical of myself, when it comes to things im passionate about or enjoy...if i don’t see progress or immediate results, or its fails, i will just walk away, or ill half-a$$ commit to it or i’ll procrastinate + not be completely focused or consistent...thats all just “self-sabotage” something ive been doing for too long, + i wasn’t even aware of it. it took me a while to realize the things that I am passionate about don’t just go away, they’ve been there all along, right where i left them, waiting for me to return. it doesn’t matter where you are on your journey, or how long you’ve been away, just pickup where you left off, or re-start if you need to. it is ok. so here’s me taking my own advice, practicing awareness, changing my beliefs, re-committing, restarting + accepting where i am on my journey. 🙏🏾💕🦄 . . #blackgirlyoga #healing #khemeticyoga #eclipse #settingintentions #awareness #selfcare #loveyourself

6.29 ||from the time i can remember, i’ve always collected small objects...stones, crystals, plants, notes...anything with meaning to me... as I continued to get older the meaning of this habit evolved to me keeping things to remind me, of moments, people, milestones i never wanted to forget... in the last several years...i began to collect specific things...photos, crystals, flowers, stones....from different places, to remind myself, of where I’ve been, that i am not alone in this world, that i am alive + i am connected to the people, places, nature...everything here on earth + everything is a part of me...these objects remind me to be present + to maintain awareness + to be intentional w/everything i do for my mind, body + spirit... it’s kind of funny...to think that one could forget those basic things or that we (I) need or use objects/things to navigate this world...but then i remember during my childhood growin up catholic...learning how to carry + use the rosary, learning that those small symbolic beads are used by millions all over the world to connect to the spirit... i don’t “need” any of these things, to “know” these truths, however every now + then, when i began to lose focus...it’s nice to have these small symbols bring me back to the present... today, i took this photo...just saw the camera, picked it up + clicked...no posing, no outfit, just a pic...immediately after i took it, i put it down + walked away...when i came back, i was surprised...i always am when i see pictures of me “seeing” me, + the strangest part, as the picture was still slowly developing, was the realization that i was looking into the past...crazy... i see my face, i also see my mother’s face, her mother + father’s faces, my father’s face, his mother + father’s faces, + so many faces before me...it’s so beautiful to be alive, to embody so much history...so many past lives + to “see” that they are all a part of me. this makes me happy. today i think i needed a reminder that i am here...i was birthed into this world, today...created with a purpose, intentional...we all are. i needed a reminder, that the people who came before me, who made it possible for me to be here are

Witch Tips
Feelings are not facts, and facts don’t necessarily change your feels. We humans are not machines – we’re animals, and we’re not meant to always be reasonable. Feelings and emotions are like tinted lenses – they color what you see. Here’s the kicker, my love: your perceptions are not the center of the Universe; they’re the center of your Universe
Feeling chill isn’t equal to being on the right path, and suffering doesn’t mean you’re off track.
This week, it’s time for an internal check-in and some deep emotional integration. That will mean different things to different folks, but what’s Universal about it is that we’re all feeling extra caught up in our own perspective right about now. Remember that your feels, no matter how compelling they are, should not replace data. And when making personal choices, remember that the data, no matter how comprehensive it is, shouldn’t completely override your feelings. It’s about balance.
2017 was an insane ride, and the astrology of ’18 doesn’t promise much of a break. Commit to rooting out the ways that you are unkind to yourself and others. Confront your double standards, your apathy, and the ways that you submit to fear. This is a time when you can align yourself with your greatest potential, but as the maxim goes, “you need to feel it to heal it,” my love. Don’t recoil from the pain of healing. Own it when you’re languishing in a rut, and try to do small things to pull yourself out of it every day that you can. Be generous with your kindness, your care, and your resources.
Hate is like glue – it binds you to the object of your disgust.
Love is the agent of transformation that you need. It’s not enough to hate Nazis; you have to love humans. It’s not enough to despise your abusive ex; you must love yourself enough to move on. The power of feeling is so great that it shouldn’t go unchecked. This is the perfect time to get honest with yourself about where you’re at and infuse it with kindness, patience, and love, and commit to acting from that place.

blq.🦄 chronicles #157: i’ve always been so s l o w... i wake up at least 3 hours b4 i have to b anywhere, bc I simply like to take my mf’n time... 🧘🏾♀️ i always hated rushing to do anything + i FN HATE when anybody wakes me up out my mf’n sleep improperly !!!! 😡😡🤬😡😡 (see proper steps below)...🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️ in the morning i like to wake up around 5am; i don’t actually get up (unless i have to really pee) instead i dream + meditate, or watch the sky turn all the shades of blue ((my fav color)) as the sun rises. i keep a notebook by my pillow + i grab a pen + write/draw the first thing that comes to mind when I finally “wake up” i 🚽, brush my teeth + on mornings when i have more time i take a long bath or shower + try to not think about anything besides the way the water feels on my body. i drink water + make herbal tea, then I moisturize my body, taking my time to make sure im not neglecting any parts...(esp. my feet 😖) sometimes I dance, stretch, do yoga or listen to music before putting on makeup (if I want to) + finally getting dressed. b4 i head out the door, i make sure i have water, healthy snacks, + everything i need to be prepared for the day... it took me a long time to really get this routine right, + it does change based on my mood/needs... if I wake up w/ feelings of sadness or anger or confusion, i may spend more time dreaming, crying, writing, taking a bath or doing whatever feels right...if im feeling excited, i may spend more time dancing or listening to music...if i feel charged or sexy...i may spend more time looking in the mirror or moisturizing my body slowly. my mornings are sacred to me, bc this is the time that i dedicate to myself + it sets the tone for the rest of my day. my mornings are my time...+ my routine not only allows me to get in touch with my feelings (+ i have so many feelz) but also start the day off honoring myself, the things i love, or illuminating things that i struggle with or things i need/want to improve in my life. i am not perfect, i am human, life is not + definitely has not always been easy, but it also doesn’t have to be more difficult then already is, by rushing or waking up late, when i know that doesn’t serve me. thru my personal understanding of that, I know how important it is for me to really move slowly, take my time w/ mind, my body, my feelz + my spirit, b4 heading out into the external world, where not everyone has learned the importance of ((self-care)) side note(s): - if u MUST wake me up, it must be w/gentle whispers, never loud or in a rush, bc any other manner disturbs my dreams + that makes me angry 😡 i hear u, even if i don’t respond for 45 min - 1 hr... lmao this always annoys anyone with the responsibility of waking me up + my mama still doesn’t do it 😒😡 but its really important, otherwise i’ll feel completely off for the entire day - i like my belly fat (+ booty fat 😜) i get rite b4 my period. i think my bloatedness is kinda cute lol + i just try to wear loose, comfy clothes + eat whatever TF I want! - i don’t like to shave in the wintertime 🤷🏾♀️ (or anytime really 🤔)...+ i like playing w/ my armpit hair bc it’s weird lmao 😂😂 - i am so clumsy...i spilled like half of my precious caramel/mocha foundation, that i can’t find anywhere in asia bc they don’t cater to brown ppl yet 🤦🏾♀️😫😭😢 what r y’all’s daily routines/rituals for self-care? ✨🦄
