Hell no! He only thrashes you if he knows you'd be okay with it. Xyx wants you to have fun too, and adapts his bit accordingly- playing "pinball" with the guards using the lightest ball, rolling the slowest round known to man with the heaviest ball, or just playing a normal game with a side gig as a fake commentator.

That said, you can forget about mercy if it's just the two of you. Then he's going for that perfect 300, sorry doll.

The characters aren’t just good and evil, the musical/movie proves this. They’re complex in their own ways, and I 1000% agree with the fact that she did it for selfish reasons, but that doesn’t make her instantly a horrible person. It was a dream of hers, of her family’s, and being just handed that opportunity on a silver platter? That’s not something you would want to give up so easily. So while she absolutely loves and cares about Elphie, Glinda definitely did it for herself, and then regretted her decision afterwards.

You can ship gelphie and still have glinda not be a good person. Those things can co-exist. She can both love and care for Elphaba but still be a selfish person. You can have her reason for staying be both protective and selfish. For me half of why she stayed was to protect Elphie but the most of it is because of selfish reasons. Reasons that she automatically regrets. I like Glinda being complex.

what instruments I think the poets would play:

neil - piano: this is both the stereotypical “I want you to play instrument so do this one” instrument and also while it's popular it doesn't belong in orchestra or band other than like the piano trio (which is kinda rare icl) or similar stuff and that parallels neil’s whole thing I think

todd - nope no instrument poetry is his outlet and I stand by that

charlie - saxophone: canon

meeks - no instrument either he doesn't really seem like the type

pitts - he plays something but idk enough about him to guess what

cameron - clarinet and voice: clarinet is like two steps away from canon and he seems like a choir kid + two instruments for high achieving cameron

knox - drums: he picked it up to impress girls but then ended up genuinely enjoying it
