This is not a romantic scene. This is a dark and sad scene of a girl who just killed her ex in self defense. At one point in time, Blake loved Adam. He was her mentor and beloved. She even ran away from home to follow him. However, she saw what he was turning into, so she left. This only made Adam more beastly. She didn't want to kill him, but she had no choice. Adam would've just kept coming for her and her loved ones, so this was the only way. Luckily, she didn't have to do it alone. She had her friend to support her.
Adam took Yang's arm, so she was fighting him for herself, not just Blake. After all is said and done, she runs to comfort her. Blake says she'll never break her promise, and Yang says, "I know you won't". Yang has full trust in Blake now. She knows she's not going to run anymore. She has no reason to.
