feel like I should put this URL to proper use especially now that I'm working on this. I've been wanting to recreate the Ga'hoole tree in MC ever since I first saw the movie, and now that I have the skills and means I figured I'd give it a shot. (Still very much a WIP though!)

I remember the movie (and the game) much more vividly than the books (because I've rewatched it like 20+ times, and have only reread the series maybe twice?), also the movie and game obviously have better visual references, so I'm turning to that for pointers. Image #3 is directly referenced from this scene.

I'm not sure how active the fandom let alone the fandom tags here are, but if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE let me know :)

I saw a Reddit post a while back theorizing that Aunt Finny could be a hagsfiend like Nyra and I'd say there's a decent amount of evidence (hopefully she's recognizable as Aunt Finny, I think I ended up drawing her a little too similar to how I would draw Nyra so. oops)

Two snowy owl sisters, Beatrice and Fern, both arrive at the Ga'hoole Tree at different times in their lives. Neither ever feel like they belong there, for one reason or another.

"'Now boys, back on the ground, the both of you.' Noctus said. Soren let himself drop back to the forest floor with an awkward swoop, a puff of powdery ash lifting off the ground where he landed. His brother plonked down beside him, stumbling and falling over as he misjudged his landing. Soren couldn't help but let out a little laugh at the sight of his twin brother flipped over on his back totally covered in white-grey ash. He and Soren had hatched on the same night, just moments from each other. Kludd claims that he was the first to crack his egg, but when they asked, their Ma and Pa said they were too overwhelmed with joy to remember who's egg had been the first.

His brother quickly scrabbled back onto his feet and glared at Soren. 'Your landing wasn't so graceful either.' Kludd grumbled, shaking the ash off himself."

Now hear me out.. is jt just me... I think because of his severe injuries Kludd didn't kill the former High Tyto (Real name Beef) (jk) that never made sense to me. But it was actually Nyra who finished him off and it's a secret they took to their graves. Also sorry if it looks weird I tried to avoid drawing blood where I could.
