A little headcanon about Gaara's scar. Usually, when Gaara is calm, his scar is light pink, slightly darker than his skin. Of course, it is noticeable both because of its color and its raised texture, but it doesn't stand out too much. However, during moments of strong emotions, blood rushes to his face—specifically to the scar—and it turns red. So, when Gaara is embarrassed, angry, emotionally unstable, etc., the kanji glows scarlet, just like in the anime.

Thank you! I have the same age au I’m currently posting. I’m cooking up three cat au stories for a duet with @ducklyn-stark Kakacat, Sakucat, and a kakasakucat. Then there is another, longer, same age au I’ve got like, 20k? for I plan to invest in again and start posting this fall. It’s gonna be angsty and drama filled. I’ve got like, 3 other wips too with scenes and notes. So I’ll be here a while. 😁😘

I do love shikamaru so much! Idk if I’ll ever write him with Sakura. We shall see!
