Here's the calendar for NejiTen Month 2025, including prompts suggested by you! I hope I succeeded in choosing a good slate of prompts that are open-ended enough for quality inspiration, and varied enough to appeal to all kinds of creators. Each day - except the "free" day - has two prompts to choose from. The bonus prompts are available if neither prompt on a particular day appeals to you, or you want an extra challenge.

Feel free to complete the prompts out of order, interpreted as loosely or literally as you wish, and combined however you want. NejiTen-themed contributions not based on any particular prompt are also welcome! There's no minimum or maximum contribution required for participation.

Welcome to Fluffy July! This is a writing prompt event running throughout July! Every day there will be two different prompts, one text prompt and one dialogue prompt! The prompt Jar will open at midnight EST March 25th!

FAQ:

What content is allowed?

All content! Any medium you want to create in, go for it! And, while this event is focused on fluff, we can't stop you from using the prompts however you like. The only rule is to properly tag your works with content warnings!

Is there a word restriction on written works?

Nope! Write as much or as little as you please! We'll welcome 50 word ficlets just as happily as 100k word fics!

When will the prompts be posted?

The first of May, two months before the event starts!

Can I start creating before July?

Absolutely! But do know that we won't start reblogging any fics until July 1st!

Do I have to create something for every day?

No, this event is supposed to be fun! If you only want to create for one day, go for it!

Will there be alternate prompts?

Yes! There will be 10 alternate prompts!

Will there be a hall of fame?

Yes! There will be a hall of fame form for completionists at the end of the month. The form will be open from August 1st to August 5th and hopefully the hall of fame will be posted soon after it closes!

How do I become a completionist?

To become a completionist you will have to create a work for every day before August 3rd.

How do I get reblogged?

As stated before we will only start reblogging in July, but to be reblogged use either of the tags #Fluffy-July 2025 or #Fluffy July 2025 and state what day you are filling in the tags!

Will there be an AO3 collection?

Yes! The collection will open on July 1st!

Can I use AI to help me create my work(s)?

No. The use of AI in this challenge is not allowed.
