This post was a very pleasant and amusing ride this morning.

At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.

I have to say that I never expected such a realistic portrayal and writing about depression and how it feels to be in bonus content for Doki Doki Literature Club.

I think this hit me harder than anything in the main game (or the other side stories). Some screens were cut from this to keep it to a certain amount of space, but this retains the gist of it, I think.

My brain plays this trick on me way too often for my own comfort. It's a work in progress.

I was reminded randomly just now of how it's possible nothing will ever compare to the sheer lunacy of that Pepsi rebranding design "theory" document from many years ago.

It lives in my mind, forever.

Definitely starting to feel some FOMO around Frosty Faustings this year, from setup and teardown, to main stage streaming, to seeing friendly faces, to commentating on Mystery Game with @kaikennedy. It's always a big deal to me and helps shake me out of my winter doldrums.

I have to miss this year due to a family commitment that was rescheduled out of my control. It'll be the first Frosty I'll miss since (I think) 2017, and I have been on staff that whole time.

This is not really a great time for Twitter to seemingly kill off third-party API clients, at least for me.

Disrupting the personal workflows and tools I use to stay connected to other like-minded and interesting people at a time when I am quite honestly feeling extremely alone a lot of the time is going to be frustrating to deal with.
