Here is a current, very rough WIP animatic of Memento Mori (So Make the Most of it!), uploaded initially for a post on Casting Call Club, but I haven't had much to share here yet given I'm in the weeds on the final touches of preproduction right now. I figured I'd share it.

Rotoscope assignment from my VFX class. I took a lot of inspiration from Across the Spiderverse's handling of Hobie Brown's multi-media style. I would love to play around in that kind of a space more, I really enjoyed this experiment.

These were also some prop design sketches that will go entirely unused. Red's phone doesn't really appear in the film as it's currently written; I just wanted an excuse to be neurodivergent about 90's/early 00's tech.

Series of 'prop design' sketches from my VisDev class. At first I was going to have a regular-looking car, but decided to go with a food truck at the last minute when Cinco De Taco's tacky design came to me abruptly. I figure that would really be the peak symbolization of the way capitalism kills.

Additionally, some explorations for the door the ghost would walk through to their afterlife. I'm messing around with decidedly-not-doorike door shapes.

A slew of character designs for a secondary character in my upcoming graduate film, who I've been referring to as Dead Human Walking. Their role in the story is to die immediately, and then have to grapple with their own death, so I've been entertaining a wide variety of faces for them.

I do wish I had some transgender art for TDOV but unfortunately my comic about transgender dogs is still in early ideation. I could post character concepts from it though.

Bunch of design sketches for my upcoming short film. I'm thinking of rewriting it to have Red be the sole main character, so digital sketches of her redesign will be soon to follow. I'm also thinking of renaming the film from Red|Blue to Memento Mori, but I think I might only be considering that name due to the Will Wood song...
