SQH blabbing the whole sorry story of SXYxTLJ to reassure his king and emphasising that SXY (kind of) died for TLJ.

MBJ expecting his cowardly spy who's clearly just working with him to save his own skin to say no, asking if SQH would die for him.

SQH, reading that as a a threat and thinking of his character's canon death, resignedly saying he always expected to.

MBJ, whose trust issues have left him a loyalty kink a km wide, immeditely going oh, that's husband material. that's not allowed to die for me.
