Little Women

Summery: Little Women tells the story of the March family during the civil war. After their father joined the military, the become poor.

My thoughts: My favourite book of all time <3 There are so may emotions to feel, like, happy, sad, ect. Little Women is also a book for, like, all ages, I feel like really anyone could read it. I read it at 13, I believe. All the March sisters are actual icons <3 I also loved the movie {2019 version}.

A Little Princess

Summery: Sara Crew, who has lived in India with her father most of her life, attends a boarding school in London while her father is with the military. After an unexpected turn of events, Sara is left with no money and her life flips upside down.

My thoughts: It was a sweet book, Like Little Women, I think both younger and older people could enjoy it. To be quite honest, the first time I read it {around 9 years old}, I didn't enjoy it but the second time I read it {14}, I loved it. It was a sad book, but ended happily. I didn't really like the movie though.

Jane Eyre

Summery: After being abused by her aunt and cousins during her childhood and being sent to an awful school, Jane is sent to mentor a young French girl. The man boarding the girl comes to love Jane, but something starnge is keeping them apart.

My thoughts: Okay, this book definitely had some weird themes {48 year old man marrying a 18 year old, keeping his wife in an attic, ect.}, but the writing style was just...*chef's kiss.* It's definitely worth reading. The movie was...awful, though.

Wear… PINK - Pink everything, always include pink in your outfits. If you hate the colour pink your going to have a hard time with this list…

Dress to impress - Even if your staying at home, going to the grocery store or just feeling rubbish in general, doll yourself up to make yourself feel better. You don’t have to do a “head-to-toe” evening look, just something that’s cute and comfy works!

Be spontaneous- Barbie does what her heart tells her is right, but she also makes spontaneous decisions. Have fun and don’t take life too seriously!

Collect pink accessories - Start replacing your everyday items with pink ones, it’s easy! Pink hairbrush, pink bedsheets, pink toaster, pink toothbrush etc

Be yourself - Barbie is unapologetically herself, always. Be the best version of you and don’t be afraid to come out of your shell!

Be kind - To yourself and other Barbie’s around you. It’s important to think of other doll’s feelings and emotions as well as your own. Always treat other doll’s with kindness

Practice self-care - Have a pamper/movie night, make a new purchase for yourself, cook a delicious meal, journal, practice yoga. REAL dolls take care of themselves properly

Never have “flat feet” - Be optimistic and never keep your feet on the ground. You only get one life. So be imaginative, have dreams and aspirations and have fun!
