Well, yes, I’ve watched some anime in my time… And I guess it’s hardly a surprise that I really like mecha anime.For example, I love Evangelion! The anime sure was …surreal at times, but hey, at least the mecha fights were spectacular!

Sly Cooper fans - try GTA V!

This may seem like an odd suggestion, but I really recommend GTA V for people who are fans of the Sly Cooper franchise. A lot of time passed between Sly 3 and Sly 4, and in that time, many Sly Cooper fans grew up. Sly 4 wasn’t all that great (*cough* quick time event as final boss battle *cough*) and you might be there thinking “if only there was a game that had all this thieving action without the childishly easy missions”. Well, my recommendation is GTA V. Whereas earlier GTA games have, firstly, concentrated on just killing and thieving aimlessly (GTA 1 & 2), and secondly, to mainly having killing people as missions (GTA III - GTA IV), GTA V brings in a lot of variety. The most refreshing one, and the most interesting one for Sly Cooper fans, is the introduction of heists.  GTA V’s Story Mode lets you plan and execute a few big heists, and the first time I planned a heist (jewellery store robbery, quite early on in the game), I thought to myself “This is great! This is like Sly Cooper!”. And by planning I mean you get to pick which one out of two ways to complete the gig you take, and also who you take on the job.  Then there are the characters! Some of them outright remind me of Sly Cooper characters. Not too many, but some. I find the most resemblance between Bentley and Lester. They are both geniuses in things concerning technology and IT, and they want to set some things right. Lester is like a bitter, middle-aged real-life version of Bentley, if you ask me.  And well, I mentioned that it’s not just killing people in this game, but that is an interesting thing as well: you get to complete assassination jobs as Franklin. These jobs are given to you by Lester, and as I said, he wants to remove some unfairness from the world. Sure, he’s exaggerating things because mainly he’s in for the profit (he can buy and sell stocks according to the assassinations), but he always pick targets who are exploiting everyone and everything and are just basically fat-cat bastards. My point is that there is the same element of “stealing from other thieves” in GTA V as there is in the Sly Cooper games, but GTA V expands that to all sorts of bastards, really. All in all, I enjoy playing GTA V very much because of its resemblance to Sly Cooper in some ways. That, and I’ve enjoyed playing GTA since I was very small because it’s just so much fun to derp around in a sandbox world. One more thing: Keep in mind the PG-18 rating. If you are sensitive, and like your crime only when it comes with fluffy anthropomorphic animals and far from reality, don’t play GTA V. But as said, I first played GTA 2 when I was about 10 or 11 years old, so if you can handle violence, give it a go!

((Hiya there followers, I just wanted to say that I still have about ten old questions in the ask box so that's why I haven't opened the ask box just yet. I will return to drawing replies soon, the past few days I've been mostly doing Uni stuff and playing GTA IV~ ~ Mod Mile ))

Have you and Bentley ever had disagreements on what you would decide to invent next? If so how do you settle what to invent?

Why of course, being as brilliant in our fields as we are, we may clash from time to time. Usually it’s about the kind of gadget we want to develop next….

… But since we’re both smart and respect one another, usually we settle for a compromise. And that makes it even sweeter to design and build the invention together!

Not… always…. though.

Long hiatus is long.

((Hello, beloved followers! 

Did you think we we’re dead? Well, we’re not, and soon enough we’ll be back in action!

Meanwhile, a lot of things have happened obviously: we discovered Penelope’s changed nature in Sly Cooper - Thieves in Time, and she started flying solo. The admins were extremely heartbroken to find that our beloved Penelope has become greedy and that she no longer loves Bentley :< 

After thinking about our options for a long while, we decided that our blog would keep answering questions as Penelope in Honour Among Thieves would have replied them. Think of it as an Sly 3.5 AU! So, in other words, our AU takes place between the happenings of Sly 3 and Sly 4. However, we will keep in mind her development as a character, and she might hint at her true colors.The drawing style will probably be a mixture of old and new style: new style mostly for her characteristics, old style for her clothing.

This was not only affected by our love of Penelope in the old days, but also by the fact that there already is a brilliant, amazing and wonderful blog for Thieves in Time era Penelope! You can find it here: http://ask-penelope-stuff.tumblr.com/

We know we have been on a break for long, but we hope that you haven’t forgotten about us or Penelope! We will return to replying questions soon, but as we still have plenty, we won’t open the ask box immediately.

Our second big news is that our other Admin, Jay, will step down from the blog, at least temporarily. She is busy with studies, and Admin Mile wishes to have more control of the blog in order to bring more consistency to it. We don’t know if this change is permanent or not, but we’ll see.

In the meantime, all the questions will be replied by admin Mile.

Mile will start with the old questions already in the Ask Box, and then open the ask box again!

Sure, building the time machine took its toll on us, but...

(OOC: the admins are quite worried about that little thing in the "Bentley's Helpline" short... But we hope that things will turn for the better. The other admin already got her copy of Sly 4, I will get mine at the end of March.. So until then, I just hope for the best. Whatever happens, we still love her!)

Ask box is closed. There are two reasons for this: 1) Our admin, Multiclaws, is European, so she will not be getting the game until the end of March. Therefore, to avoid spoilers, we will have to close the askbox in case of any spoiling questions!

2) We have a lot of questions to answer as it is :) We have around 20 questions to reply, thanks very much to everyone who have sent us questions, you keep this blog alive <3 But since we have little time in our hands, even though there’s two of us, we thought that it might be good to not receive any new questions for now.  We’ll most probably open the askbox again in April. I hope it's not too shocking! (The mods' reaction to seeing Penelope in Thieves in Time: Multiclaws: WHOA! I was SO EXCITED when I first saw Penelope! In Thieves in Time! I have been waiting for this for so long, I have really hoped that she would be in it and that Sanzaru would finally reveal their design of her! And the design... Well, I have a sort of a love/hate relationship with it. I mean, I love it, she looks AH-MAZING! However, I really adored Penelope as she was before; she was just a regular girl, she mostly wore work overalls, she wasn't that busty, and she seemed like a perfect tomboy, someone I could relate to. Now it seems that they made her into a babe! O__o However, Sanzaru also changed Carmelita's cutscene appearance a lot in comparison with the earlier style, so it's only natural that Penelope would get the same treatment. All in all, I appreciate it that they show that even the plain girl can be a hottie, and I am happy with how kickass she looks now. It only takes me a while to get used to the idea. Canuck-sweety33:  I am not going to lie, I went ballistic when I heard the news. I mean, she's sort of underrated in my books. Personally I don't see too much change in her except for her clothing and new bust size, she still look like the same nerd mouse I like so much. Going to miss the overalls though. Even if she may not do much in the new game, I am still very hyped to see what is she going to do in the game. I do wonder if she is going to get the ever changing voice accents treatments, just like Carmelita. Is it possible that any female in the series will change voices? We many never know. Either way, I'm so fricken hyped up for this game, love the new art style and the gameplay. Aahh good times. :D  )

I had to think about this for a sec... But I suppose that by "Sly 4" you mean the fourth major adventure of the Cooper Gang, right? :)  I've always wanted to visit Victorian England... But I think it might be more important for me to stay home and help them in any way I can!
