The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) calls for the boycott of all complicit institutions.

Why are fans boycotting?

Spyglass Media, the production company behind the upcoming film Scream 7, fired star Melissa Barrera for courageously speaking out against Israel's genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.

Standing up to Hollywood's racist censorship, bullying, and silencing through targeted boycotts is an important way that cinema audiences worldwide can meaningfully contribute to the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement.

How can I support the boycott?

Audiences: Boycott Scream 7 in theaters and on streamers. Avoid amplifying the film on social media! Share information about the boycott with your friends and followers (especially fans of horror movies and everyone who supports a free Palestine).

Organizations: Get your organization to sign on to the boycott. E-mail boycottscream7@gmail.com for more info.

Journalists: If you are assigned to cover the film, explain why advocates of Palestinian human rights are boycotting it.

Devastated.

I'm conflicted about Matthew coming back to scream. It feels like to me that they're only bringing back all of these legacy characters because they're trying to make people forget what they did to Melissa. It also just seems like it's going to be a really bad movie and that they're not putting the love and care into it that they did the other movies so Stu returning kind of scares me that they're not going to do anything good with it
