So I got Disney+ because it had the weeklong trial period before you had to pay. I intended to cancel it after the free week because I didnā€™t want to pay for it. While I was downloading it, I thought to myself, why donā€™t they give you a month free trial like how Netflix does? How do they expect to keep people paying with only one week of experience with it?
Anyway I just paid for my first month.

I could buy a teacup pig to deal with my anxiety, or for the same price I could buy a one-way ticket to Russia and begin a new life.
Decisions.

Frawley - Crawly - Crowley
Coincidence? I think NOT.
Click pens were invented by Crowley.
You cannot convince me otherwise.

my local grocery store put the huge bags of Red Vines on a ridiculous sale because they're the ones with stars on them from the summer holidays
I guess you can only be patriotic in the summer šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Thou-shalt-not-commit-adultery Pulsifer obviously had a son, because that's where Newt came from. Direct descendant and all. We can assume that it was with his actual wife, because he carried on the name and I imagine in that time period an illegitimate child was blamed on passing travelers, and the like.
So, here's my question: how did this child live? Thou-shalt-not-commit-adultery Pulsifer was not very old, so his son was presumably young, if he was even born yet. But the entire town came to watch Agnes be burned, and the entire town was blown up. Are we to presume that his wife and son just weren't there that day? That doesn't seem keeping in tradition with the time...
I suppose there's an explanation, and it's not exactly a plot hole. But it's still something I find myself idly wondering.

I find it hilarious in those questionnaires when applying for a job how thereā€™s always some form of ā€œpeople trust me with their secretsā€. Why is this even a question? What exactly does it prove to the employer? Also, what if this person is an introvert who doesnā€™t have a lot of friends (šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø) and thus thereā€™s not an opportunity for someone to share secrets with you? What then? How is this applicant going to know what to put???

America is Petty
Iā€™m not a conspiracy theorist. Sure, the governmentā€™s not the greatest, but I donā€™t think theyā€™re spying on us Big Brother 1984 style ā€“ I just canā€™t imagine they care that much. Yeah, Iā€™m sure theyā€™re able to, but what would be the point? Thatā€™s a lot of people to care about, and everyone knows politicians care about themselves first and foremost.
However, I just donā€™t know what to believe about the moon landing in 1969. Yes, I know, Iā€™m sure theyā€™re able to land on the moon now. If they werenā€™t, it would be pretty hard to hide with technology where it is today. But in 1969? Itā€™s just a bit too convenient for me that it worked out at just the right time for America after Russia was running circles around them for so long.Ā
Do I think theyā€™re evil for lying about it, if in fact they did? No. Prideful, yes. Patriotic, maybe. But not evil. So itā€™s not something that I really care about, whether it was faked or not. But it does make me wonder.
P.S. Did you know that America came up with the word astronaut literally because they didnā€™t want to use the same word as the Russians (cosmonaut)? They mean the same thing. If thatā€™s not a ridiculous amount of pettiness I donā€™t know what is.

Invention Idea
It would be so cool to have some kind of app or program that analyzes music, kind of like Shazam, where you play a song and the app finds songs most similar to the song you played. And it could be organized by things like lyrics, the beat, the style, the genre, the instruments used, etc. That way you can find songs most pleasing to your tastes, rather than relying on suggestions from others that are frankly biased. The app could find true similarities between songs so that you can more quickly and easily find music thatā€™s like music you already have in as many ways possible.

It's just occurred to me that Good Omens is basically a fanfiction of the Bible, complete with original characters and all. It's not like other TV shows like Lucifer, where the idea of Christianity and its history is changed, but it uses the characters named in the Bible in such a way that it can't really be seen as disrespectful to Christian beliefs. It's so completely different, using the characters but not tackling any real system of beliefs that would make people defensive. Sure, there's the odd comment to raise an eyebrow at, but I don't feel like they're said to offend but to make parts of the story clearer. I would see this series as falling more under a "crack treated seriously" tag than anything else.
So there's no need for a bunch of Christian moms petitioning to get it banned. (But then, most things don't need Christian moms petitioning to get things banned in the first place.)

As Iā€™m walking to class just now, I heard a girl on the phone like,Ā ā€œYeah, the campus is enormous!ā€
...Youā€™re not talking about BYU-I, are you? Because I can get from the furthest reach of campus to the other in about 20 minutes.

I sewed the head too far up and lopsided. I canā€™t decide if sheā€™s turning her head, is double chinned, or both.
Tumblr media
Also the fabric is so sheer you can see the threads from the embroidery underneath. I think for the white dolls Iā€™m going to double up the fabric to avoid that.
Tumblr media
But, Iā€™ve finally figured out exactly how to sew the dolls, and in what order for each body part. So, yay! The next doll should be just fine. šŸ‘šŸ‘

I had a dream last night that the whole family was in the Pittsburgh area for something (idk what, dreams donā€™t make sense) and everyone was ready but I was wearing pants that kept shrinking and shrinking and I was looking all around the house for something to change into so that we could leave because we were running late, but then I found out that my mom had left with all my siblings already and they were going to Murrysville, which is where theĀ Burgatory is that I always went to when I lived there, and I was so upset to be missing out from the restaurant that I think about literally every day but is only in the Pittsburgh area that I woke up crying.
Then I had to cry for a minute more because I realized that Iā€™m still in Idaho and 1,914 miles away from the nearest Burgatory.
