POKESHIPPING WEEK 2024!

It's that time again, pokeshippers!

Last year, we announced that the format of Pokeshipping Week - one theme per day - was getting retired. We also said that we'd still put on a celebration of some kind going forward. Well, the time is here, and I'm happy to announce that we are planning a pokeshipping zine...next year!

If you'll forgive the bait-and-switch there, we have seriously talked about doing a zine, but time got away from us this summer. So, while we do hope to tackle that undertaking in 2025, for this year, we're planning what you might call an open Pokeshipping Week!

How does it work, you ask? Simple: over the years, you all have submitted a lot of potential themes for Pokeshipping Week. For every seven that got chosen each year, plenty were left behind. Well, now you can fill November 1 to 7 with art, fics, AMVs, GIFs, graphics, etc., all about our favorite Poke-couple, using any seven you'd like from the unused themes list.

Any and all contributions are welcome, and if they're tagged #pokeshipping week 2024, we'll reblog them here and on the main @pokeshipping blog. Besides Tumblr, we’ll keep our eyes out for the tag on Twitter and DeviantART for artwork, for fanfics on FF.Net and AO3, and for AMVs on YouTube (no NSFW, please).

The full list of unused themes (from years 2020 through 2023) is below the "Read More" break. Use, combine, and create as your heart desires, and we'll see you November 1!

It was about two days after Misty arrived back at the gym, three days early, from a short visit with Ash in Pallet, steam coming from her ears and doors slamming open and closed around her as she huffed about the ‘nerve’ and ‘audacity’ of a certain unnamed Pokemon Champion that had happened to catch her ire.

Daisy, Violet, and Lily knew well enough to just leave her alone by that point. Ash always had a bit of a habit of pissing Misty off for one reason or another, but she usually forgive him within the week, so they just continued on as usual and tried not to make her even angrier as she cooled down.

It was only after a quick trip to the PokeMart that her sisters were all standing in the lobby waiting for her when she returned, trying to look innocent and failing miserably, that she had any indication something was amiss.

“What?” she asked them suspiciously.

Lily and Daisy both shook their heads and shrugged, but Violet bit her lip and asked, just a bit too casually, “Sooo, about Ash…”

Misty’s glare hardened. “I never want to see him again.”

“Oh, that’s a shame,” Violet replied, “because he’s like, in the other room.”

“What?!”

“Don’t freak out,” Daisy sighed, as Misty began to freak out. “He got here just a few minutes after you left, and he sounds like, really sorry.”

“Of course he’s sorry! He better be sorry! He’s a conceited, pig headed, immature little—”

“Hey!” a voice cried, interrupting Misty’s tirade, as Ash came stomping into the room, looking irritated. “You’re one to talk!”

“Oh, look who it is! Here to cause an even bigger mess than last time?!”

“You mean like the mess you made?!”

“Me?!”

“Yeah you!”

“What are you two even fighting about?” Lily finally demanded. After a beat, Ash and Misty went tellingly quiet.

“Uh,” Ash began, quietly.

“Um,” Misty added, uselessly.

Violet looked between the both of them, flabbergasted. “You, like, don’t even know why you’re arguing?”

The pair looked at each other, eyes widening in realization. “I guess not,” Misty answered.

“Oops,” Ash chuckled.

“Out,” Daisy snapped, pointing to the door. Ash and Misty shrunk back, sheepishly, both turning and heading out of the lobby.

“Yup.”

“You got it.”

“Bye.”

“See ya.”

The door closed and the sisters sighed, rolling their eyes. Another two solid days of nonsense for nothing.

If only they’d just kiss and make up and save them all the trouble.

Please opt out. Even if you don't care about your own art, you should care about Adobe hoping a lot of people don't notice so they can use a lot of art without real knowledge or consent.

Been saying for years how important it is to have your back-ups on PHYSICAL STORAGE, NOT THE CLOUD. This is why.

Hi. I haven't logged on during my last weeks or months of pregnancy. I was very tired. As of 3 weeks ago, our baby was born. I will be on even less. I hope everyone has a fabulous advent. Merry Christmas and our anniversary is in January and our baby will be exactly a month. Please keep us in prayer. We waited for this baby 6 years and sometimes it's hard with the hormones for me. I miss you all.

To all my wonderful followers. I have been doodling, doing other hobbies, and basically putting family first. Especially during these harsh years that it has been to many of us... I am also feeling much better now in pregnancy. Thank you for following me although I don't regularly post. I started this page to break free from my anxiety and see my own progress and just a way to relieve stress. Thank you. please keep us in your prayers.

Hermosa sin duda

I can finally get rid of this draft! I just wanted a nice dress but I always overdo it. For months, I would go back and edit slowly. Always getting frustrated bc it's on

Tx Winter storm. W/o electricity. Started Lent early. Power cane on for an hour .... decided to doodle... (until the sun was gone bc then not even candles helped me see)

I should have left the doodle as is, but I had to be extra! Idk why I dod this... Nevertheless, sure was fun getting messy w charcoal. Def a learning process bc I've barely used this medium due to it's messiness.

Praying for those that don’t even have water or gas and haven’t eaten. For those that have kids.

W. I. P. : Friendship Crew

I'm excited! I wanted to draw a

the miraculous "friendship crew."

Here is a preview. The line art has 2 much cute detail. It's fun just to see it this way.

Consequently, I created a one shot/backstory for one of the characters b4 this friendship crew.

Using a new phone, art app. It lacks stuff, I was used but the apps I used keep erasing artwork. However, the simplicity of this app makes it easy to use as well as enjoyable. I don't feel stressed out while drawing like I do w/more complicated apps.

Anyway... This is cute.. Right?
