Jobs for 2D Artists?

I like to do illustration and 2D art with a cartoonish art style, much like furry artists out there. But, I’m having trouble finding jobs that aren’t animation, 3D art, or with low average salaries. Does anyone know any decent jobs for illustrators/2D artists?

Why is everyone making rape and child molestation jokes? (I’m talking about in general.) It seems almost every other day I hear or read someone make those jokes, even my “acquaintances.” And I’m wondering, what’s so funny about rape and child molestation? Genuinely, what’s that hilarious about it?

Anyways; this is just a short rant about how normalized rape jokes are, to the point that I have even heard acquaintances make them, when I thought that those same people were against morally incorrect jokes.
