So this is an au I thought about ages ago. Youtuber animator izuku au! Izuku thinking he'll never become a hero turns to art and animation as an outlet. He becomes a youtube storyteller under the alias deku and becomes pretty popular but after the LoV tries to kidnap him for his analysis skills UA takes him in for protection in Class 1-A. And he has major fans in class and Bakugou gets super pissy about him being there. He starts out small time but then gets big time after one of his videos goes viral. Specifically the one where he talks about what it's like to be quirkless. Todoroki knows about him because his videos are really uplifting to him. After a while all might sees a potential hero in him and gives him ofa. I have a lot of old notes on this au and I just thought I'd share it

...like his drawings in his hero notebooks are actually p good in canon?? esp for a beginner artist

i also love him as a youtube storyteller- putting his hero analysis skills + ability to ramble for long periods of time to good use !!

i love your idea abt the LoV trying to headhunt him too...

like shigaraki Totally would spend a lot of time hatewatching youtube videos abt heroes

and when he sees this crazy insightful quirkless kid’s videos, he would totally see how useful the kid’s analysis could b for him..

i like izuku getting taken to UA for protection! i am a sucker for alternate first meetings bw izuku + class 1-A

also class 1-a (minus bakugou) fangirling over his videos gives me lifeee

izuku would b sooo flustered...like all these super powerful heroes in training watch his videos??

and omg todoroki finding inspiration in izuku’s videos.....i am feeling emotions (specifically tododeku emotions!)

also yay at deku getting OFA!! i wonder how his fans would react at his next storytime (would they believe his story that he was a late bloomer? either way the comments section would b Wild askdjaskd)

I ended up calling the au Deku draws and it would be in the bane of YouTube animators like Jadien animations and theodd1sout.

Denki and Sero adopt him into a meme squad

 animated Izuku runs on screen screaming

Izuku: GUYS I HAVE A QUIRK HOLY CRAP!

 freaks out till animated side character throws a brick at him

 Iida and Momo are the ones who makes sure he does over work himself

 Iida: How long have you been animating today ?

Izuku: What time is it?

Iida: It's 7 at night

Izuku: ....since 2 this morning

 I want other youtubers to be canon to that au so it be hilarious to see this scene

Kami: Hey Deku who you voice chatting?

Izu: Oh, just talking to James about a collab we're doing.

Kami:  James as in... the odd ones out?!

James: Who? laughing

Kami: dies

 About 2 days before the heroes get a lock on his location. Shigaraki destroyed his phone but didn't destroy his iwatch which he had in his inner jacket pocket

 Izuku animating a passive aggressive middle finger at the villains who took him in his next video after the incident

 Secondly I was planning on going for a hero that had no modern connection to anyone. Like Izuku knows putting out info on modern heroes is asking for trouble. So they're be no harm in a hero from the past right? which is he is completely wrong and get kidnapped for it

 Kouta knows Izuku because yearly he does a video to honor the heroes who fallen in the line of duty and pays his respects

 "This year we lost a lot of familiar faces. To the families and friends of these brave heroes I am so sorry for your loss and which you all the best."

tododeku becomes a thing and how shoto decides to tell his old man is let Izuku go viral with it

 Izuku: HEY EVERYONE THIS IS MY BOYFRIEND AND I LOVE THEM SCREAMS

 Just, "Okay, you're all familiar with Shoto Draws now, right? Well we're about to get more familiar." Switch to real vision in time to kiss him on the internet

(The shoto draws bit is where he let shoto animate a story for April fools)

 "I HAVE A BOYF NOW! INTERNET SAY HELLO!"

 Also Izuku is still a huge advocate for quirkless rights even after getting his quirk

 Like he went viral with his quirkless life video but with kamino he bumps subs but hundred thousands

 Izuku has seen enough damaged people that he warns Aizawa, leading Iida to being stuck with one of the teachers

 After all is said and done Iida guest stars on a video with izuku about how bad rage can get you and steps to help prevent it

 Izuku does a memorial video that focuses on Stain's victims, and their families especially

 But Endeavor gets there afterwards and fights stain taking him down but injuring the hero to where he can't do hero work for a good 4 months

 Izu makes a private video for UA students on how it could have been done better with Endeavor's skill set

 Only those who passed the english final would get to go which made the failing students put in extra effort

 Denki and Sero are always freaking out because he has all the skype accounts for some of the most famous youtubers

 Sero: What the actual fuck?! When did you talk to MARKIPLIER?!

 Izuku: I did an animation for his channel

 "Hey Sero? Jack wants you to stream the new Spiderman with him."

 Izuku at panels talking about things and his classmates yelling things at the stage

 Thanks to Izu's growing influence, Quirkless Acceptance becomes something preached regularly alongside other Acceptance Matters
