A quick laydown on the rank shares thus far, excluding Senbatsu:

AKB48 looks to continue holding absolute plurality in the ranks, bolstered by an impressive performance by Team 8. 

SKE48 follows closely behind, pulling ahead of the rest of the sister groups with 19 ranks out of 84. HKT48 and NGT48 approximately maintain their shares as well.

NMB48′s rank share, however, is more disappointing as usual, falling far behind with a paltry 8 spots. STU48′s 2 spots is as expected for a brand-new group (albeit at a lower rank than expected), following in the footsteps of NMB48 and HKT48 when they were at this stage of their respective life cycles.
