I love it when my friends read my favorite books and I especially love it when they text me their reactions as they go
#erin rambles#book tag#I loaned my good good friend Salvation Day and she's having a great time#I personally only really like very specific kinds of horror and salvation day was the book that let me dip my toe into the genre#so the fact that she likes it makes me so so happy#and the fact that she's terrified tells me that it's actually scarier than I thought lmao#also I joke that she's the Book God bc I've enjoyed everything she's recommended#so having even a fraction of her power is very fun for me#I'm so excited to hear all about it at book club on Thursday!

I start my new job next week!!! Holy shit!!!!
#erin rambles#it will mark exactly four months from being fired to start date#I cannot accurately express how fucking awful unemployment is#it's like a government sponsored depressive episode#but this new job marks the start of a new career!#I'm stepping away from admin assistance and moving towards legal assisting with the goal of being a paralegal in the future#and then I start my paralegal cert program in september!#I'm dead serious about this#way more serious than with the editing cert mostly bc I have family and friends in the legal field#also I'm really excited to get new glasses and start going to the gym again#thank GOD bc I need to start exercising again

Well. I finished it. I was a little worried that the third book wouldn't really have anywhere to go after this one, but I should've known better. Sanderson writes fantastic twists and they haven't felt forced yet. Also his long ass books don't feel too long, which I find surprising.
I have 50 pages left in Well of Ascension but holy shit, if this is how the book is with 50 pages left I'm kind of scared of how it'll end
