Since it seems the majority of the life series community is settling on Earth for Scar (from what I’ve seen), I’m starting to wonder what the “non-winners” symbols could be. For example:-

The idea of Joel being a meteor has been bouncing around in my head the last two days, I think it suits him.

I’m curious to see what everyone else thinks and what the others could potentially be with their current track records within the series, (which can change depending on what happens in the next series).

Edit: after seeing some stuff about Impulse getting killed by the winners for his final death and him being a messenger, I’m marking him down as Mercury, with its links to both the Roman god of the same name as his Greek counterpart Hermes being the messengers of their pantheons.

Although Phil’s saying it was “just a dream” I think otherwise, the amount of gaslighting the federation have done not just to Phil but the others around his disappearance is astounding, the only part I think was a dream was of course the hardcore section but also Phil waking up in the birdhouse, leaving, and the talk with Cucurucho. Most likely planted by the feds to make him think he was dreaming.

Something that I’d enjoy seeing is Phil slowly remembering more details of what really happened, his vision blurring/losing colour as he remembers what really happened, kind of like in ‘We Happy Few’. Something more must have happened then just being locked in the birdhouse, given the amount of time and the feds track history with “bird hybrids”.

Imagine if they took Phil into the labs, put something in him like a chip and then sent him back, we’re all talking about how the frozen players are most likely bugged, but the last person anyone would expect would be Phil, hiding in plain sight just on the edge of any significant finding, unknowingly feeding information to the federation.

I really wanna know why everyone was brought to the island in the first place. I’m not able to watch most members but I saw somewhere that the Brazilians weren’t meant to be there and their arrival was truly just an accident, while somewhere else the French plane was only brought down to get Baghera (Duckling AU), and the rest were just a case of wrong place, wrong time.

The Ice block crew as I’ve taken to calling them is also interesting, were they there before the train or transferred in? Why were they frozen in the first place?

Individually for the train crew, Jaiden originally helped them before and if the entirety of the Bluebird AU is canon then she was also raised/made by the Federation. From what I’ve seen of Fit he came purposefully, looking for the Feds data. But what about the rest? Why did the Feds want them? What purpose do they have in the Federations plans? Even Phil’s recent trapping in the bird cage has got me wondering if it’s just a punishment for the lava cast or if theirs something more behind it.

The specific idea that the members of last life actually do remember the past Cycles but don’t remember their emotions or grudges is so interesting.

It would explain how a lot of members were drawn back to each other and talked about last session- yet no fighting or debates came from it.

Also from a narrative perspective- what would happen is someone Did Remember? Their weariness in some but are drawn uncharacteristically close to others. They joke about something, but no one else seems to laugh and play along. They hold back a swipe with their sword in a sudden memory of something so similar happening forever ago- however many cycles ago it’s been.

That’s the other thing about this series. How much have we truly seen in the narrative? How many times has this happened already, and only now We are permitted to view this? Are they even in a chronological order? Does it matter in the span of things? Maybe only now we get to see these cycles now that whatever is keeping them in place is finally breaking down.

My lore loving heart screamed I’m hoping it continues with season 3 the watchers were such a brilliant concept and I was so sad when the series ended, the watchers are fuming at Grian for getting away that’s why they wanted him!

Edit: random thought, could also be used as a way to introduce season 2 (rough idea) Dream thinks the prison would be more secure in an unknown/ different world, during transit PRISON BREAK!!!!
