NeveRook blighted romance scenes video under the YT cut (featuring an enby qunari Warden Rook).

Alright so I'm going to be posting the full NeveRook non-blighted playthrough as well, I just need to rerecord some scenes first that I didn't capture - but I have to say, after my Rook fully romanced Neve and didn't have her blighted, having blighted Neve just felt sad, underwhelming, and far more limited (especially with less NeveRook dialogue and/or romance concluding scenes) in comparison to Neve's full romance cycle.

Don't get me wrong, there were some sweet and badass scenes, just not enough to have me play with a blighted Neve again because it's overall depressing and IMO unnecessary for her character as a whole.

I'm a solid blighted Bellara stan (romanced or not) because I think it gives her a beautiful character arc in DAV that pushes her forwards. And Neve truthfully doesn't need nor even benefits much from being blighted - if anything, I feel for Rook's romance with Neve, Neve being blighted just takes more away from it than it gives, but that's a post for another day. 😂

LET'S NOT GLAZE OVER HER ROCK-TO-FACE ACCURACY AND FORCE OF THAT ROCK THROWING THOUGH.

I loved everything about this scene (even if you chose Neve to not be in your final parties - though I'm a Neve stan and kept her with me at all times, unless I'm doing the eventual blighted romance route 😂), and just overall everything with the final Minrathous battle.

I think this is a perfect snapshot into why Neve has become one of my all time fav DA characters, because she goes beyond the typical molds that we as players are used to seeing for DA mages and those who hold themselves more proper (especially as far as the other games and their portrayal of Tevene folks). Because it's in these moments that you know without a doubt (if you still had any at that point) that Neve's going to fucking deck the ever living shit out of the opposition any way she can.

A woman with countless tricks up her sleeve, and Rook is a perfect romance to balance/compliment that, and even just as an overall protagonist (IMO).

I'm now realizing that I'm obsessed with my first Rook (and Neve) after finally completing the initial playthrough. I've started a second as an elf and it's just not hitting like my Grey Warden enby Qunari Rook did. 😅

I feel like starting off as a Rook that Neve has to climb like a tree who is taller than basically everyone, makes other versions of Rook seem so short to play now and it just feels wrong. 😂

Anyway, Snow Wife's new song came out and it screamed to be used.

Why Neve Gallus in Dragon Age Veilguard is gay as hell queer as heck summary:

1. Jessica Clark (Neve's VA in Veilguard) is a lesbian IRL so that clearly leans to Neve as a whole being canonically voiced with a queer brush at the very least.

2. Ain't no cis man gonna be handling anything from Neve freaking Gallus - like HUNTY let's be so ffr right now.

3. That means you, Lucanis. Tbh I love Lucanis as a character, but the fact you can't play Rook AND romance anyone else lest you just allow Lucanis to get it with Neve is a hellll nawww heck no from me dawg.

So I first set out to make a quick, larger formated thirst trap centered around my Dragon Age Veilguard Grey Warden mage enby Qunari Rook, but Neve snuck up on in there like the OTP romanceable companion that she is. 😏 So here we are!

My first Rook has been distractedly handsome/pretty after my initial touch ups, and I felt I needed to share.

This Rook also doesn't officially have a name because it took me way too gd long to figure out I did not in fact have to choose only a preset first name during character creation. 🫣

So some thoughts on this Rook's first (chosen) name are:

- Ash (meaning 'to seek' in Qunlat)

- Rhys (and thus how Varric came out with 'Rook' as a nickname when recruiting them)

- Something else, suggestions?

UPDATE: I seemed to have gone with the name Ash in game.

I will say I've loved the Grey Warden specific dialogue you get in the game also when romancing the hell out of Neve, so I wanted to include that as well.
