Hyper Japan 2017 - Story time

Last year at Hyper Japan I met this J-pop (kinda rock-ish) band called The Sixth Lie at a fan signing. I thought their songs were kinda cool so I was like ehhhh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ might as well u know.

However, while I was standing in line, I suddenly remembered something.

I was in cosplay (°-°)

And not any old cosplay, but a fucking Noctis Lucis Caelum, Lord Edge of the edge-est Noctis careful not to cut yourself on all that edge mate Caelum himself, cosplay. You know the guy who everyone says looks like a wannabe Japanese boyband member -yh that guy 😶

So I was cosplaying as a wannabe boyband member while meeting actual boyband members…

Lemme tell you they gave me some really weirded out looks when I came over all awkward and shit. Started whispering to each other in Japanese too RIP

As soon as I got my shit signed,

I fucking legged it out of there as quick as I could (which wasn’t very quick cuz noctis’ boots where fucking killing me and I was pretty much limping) like the awkward sausage I am.
