A new child, named after the Caelum constellation and the Latin word for the sky/heaven. He's been poking my brain ever since I wanted a demon/imp-like skeleboy.

He's got nothing else going for him right now when it comes to background or motivations cuz I'm still puzzling him together x'D

❀ Caelum's Cookie Recipe ❀

(from Baking Cookies With a Bakadere Daemon Boy)

Transcription below!

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition

Beat in flour mixture gradually

Stir in chocolate morsels

Drop onto ungreased baking sheets by rounded tablespoon

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

Daemons can change their size at will along with their appearance but this isn’t a automatic change it’s separate

First time freelancer sees Gavin at his actual height it’s by accident and scares the shit out of them.

He’s just too tall to stand in some buildings and can’t get through doors comfortably and shit, like he’s bonking the top of his head on the damn door frames and his horns catch on them and scrape on the roof and it’s horrible.

He also hates to slouch too because it’s painful and unattractive and far too intimidating so he just shrinks a couple inches.

Now… Gavin likes to hide in unsuspecting places when he’s scouting targets or being a little shit to freelancer. He’ll hide in drawers or the pockets of freelancer’s jacket and pop out at the most unsuspecting times for a quick laugh that’s quickly remedied by a bunch of kisses.

He also can get really big and I mean BIG. I don't think he doesn't do this often because he then rips off his clothes and returning to a human presenting form everyone can see is really embarrassing over all and devastating as he loses some of his favourite clothes (I think he classes all the clothes he wears as his favourites because why would he wear them if they weren't his favourites?); but if push comes to shove and the laidback Gavin has to show why he's a damn good daemon to keep the same charge and not move on (and also how he's not some parasite scrounging around freelancer) he will beef himself up and put up quite the fight for himself and the DAMN Squad.

Caelum for example tends to shrink to be seen as more comforting and trustworthy in nature to his charges and get the most out of it and I think he in general likes the more cutesy look. If he has to though he will go to his usual size which in my mind is around 5'11 or 6'0 with horns which usually happens only when he's trying to be serious or has to make sure his charges take care of themselves and being at this size is for more beneficial.

Caelum I do think, if his charge has a pile of stuffies, will shrink to hide in the pile and take ever so convenient naps in the pile and bland in in the process.
