random question !!! do you write Anakin using Haydens voice or Matt Lanters? Like their tone, phrasing, etc.

aaa!! hello!! well — i feel like i fall more towards matt’s tone and phrasing. ( i’m 99% sure i have it under my voiceclaim on my carrd ) and this is only because, when i’m writing i need to have a video of anakin speaking in the background to help with making sure my dialogue is sounding like his voice and nine times outta ten, i’ve got clone wars videos on just because there is more of anakin speaking there than in the movies. it’s really just a mish mash, i do use both but it’s typically matt.

She’s  seated  comfortably  on  a  small  ledge  in  the  back  of  the  cell,  one  leg  crossed  over  the  other  ;  a  way  too  nonchalant  attitude,  something  she  assumed  would  only  infuriate  him  even  more.     ❝     Why  don’t  you  just  use  some  of  your  magical,  mystical  ju - ju  powers,  and  get  us  out  of  here  then?     ❞     The  asset’s  hands  were  extended  in  front  of  her,  doing  a  subtle  small  wave  to  mock  said  powers.

❛ 𝐣𝐮-𝐣𝐮 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬? 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 . . . ❜  he looks over his shoulder back at her. the best way to explain the expression on his face — would be complete and utter disbelief, mixed with slight annoyance.  ❛ did you just call the force, ju-ju powers? ❜  he asks, like he didn’t just hear her say it with his own two ears. then comes her hand gestures and he immediately scoffed. he couldn’t wait to get out of here.  ❛ that’s — that’s not how it works. you’d know that, if you cared to remember what it’s called. ❜  

he turns, back now facing the containment field so he’s looking at her.  ❛ the containment field restricts my abilities. i can’t reach anything that isn’t already in this room. ❜  which is infuriating, because when standing in front of the field ; he can see the controls and if this damn field wasn’t in the way, then getting them out would’ve been a breeze!  ❛ besides, i assumed you’d know how to get out of here. ❜  he shrugs his shoulders, now beginning to approach her.  ❛ isn’t this a daily occurrence for you? ❜

❝    𝐘𝐎𝐔    𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃    𝐀    𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄   .    ❞    something    they    obviously    forgot    about    while    discussing    the    plan    .    Skywalker    in    Clone    armor    .    It    was    strange    ,    looked    strange    ,    definitely    not    right    ,    but    they    could    blame    it    on    him    being    a    ROOKIE    ,    yes    ?    believable    ?    definitely    questionable    .    The    Jedi    simply    did    not    move    like    a    clone    ,    he    did    not    talk    like    a    clone    (    except    for    some    lines    he    picked    up    from    his    men    )    .    Hands    reached    out    ,    adjusting    pieces    of    the    shoulder    armor    to    fit    better    on    Skywalkers    body    .    ❝    CAN    YOU    THINK    OF    SOMETHING    ?    ❞    question    asked    while    he    put    his    helmet    on    as    well    .    Now    hidden    features    did    show    amuesement    ,    an    eyebrow    raised    and    a    laugh    swallowed    down    ,    covered    by    the    clear    of    his    throat    .

𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫,  but no matter what he did, it just wouldn’t sit comfortably on his frame. he was taller than the clones ; by two or three inches and for the past twelve years anakin has exclusively only been wearing jedi robes. loose fitting attire, that enabled him the best movement. in clone armor, he felt uncomfortably trapped and restricted. even worse with the helmet on his head, how the hell did they see out of these things?  ❛ a nickname? you didn’t say anything about a nickname?! ❜  he complained, adding to the list of the other thousand complaints he’s made in the past five minutes.

he groaned when rex came to assist with securing his shoulder pieces into the proper position. anakin tried to swat him off.  ❛ what? you want me to walk around like this . . .? ❜  he bends his knees slightly to try and make himself smaller, an incredibly uncomfortable position. so, next he tries to make himself seem smaller by slouching his back ; instead of standing tall and mighty as he typically would.  ❛ . . . for the rest of the day? are you serious? no. no, this is a terrible idea. no-one is going to believe this! ❜  from beneath the helmet, anakin has quite the scowl on his face, a frown so deep.

❛ ugh! fine, i guess uh . . . i don’t know! don’t you guys give each other nicknames? why can’t you think of something, or we can just stick with rookie? we don’t gotta think this far into it. ❜  he goes to cross his arms, but with the restrictions of his armor and the tightness across his chest because of the attempted movement of his arms, he gives up and throws his arms back down by his side.

dormé  &  captain  panaka  were  in  the  cockpit  of  the  starship,  ensuring  that  everything  was  ready  for  take - off.   the  smile  is  carefully  resisted  when  she  recognized  his  voice,  only  finally  curling  onto  her  expression  when  she  realized  that  ahsoka  was  not  trotting  along  after  him.   she  adored  his  padawan,  truly,  but  they  had  spent  their  entire  marriage  haphazardly  on  different  sides  of  the  universe  that  was  being  torn  apart  by  war.   small  moments  were  usually  all  they  could  afford.

“how  noble  of  you,  to  voluntarily  spend  time  dealing  with  politicians.”   padmé  stretched  up  onto  her  toes,  stealing  a  quick  kiss  as  one  hand  grabbed  onto  his.   her  heart  squeezed  with  affection.   “i’m  so  happy  to  see  you,”  a  beat.   hm.   “did  obi - wan  tell  you  exactly  what  i’m  doing?”

𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐩,  fingers intertwining with hers. subtle touches and quick kisses, they were all they could have when they weren’t in the privacy of her apartment. the consequences of them being caught was far too dire, they simply couldn’t risk it. but sometimes anakin couldn’t help and think — was it all worth it? on more than one occasion, he has thought about revealing the truth . . . all to be with her, without all the secrecy. but in this war, that simply wasn’t an option for them.

❛ um . . . no, he didn’t, actually. i kinda ran out the room before he had the chance. ❜  he laughs, because he was not exaggerating. the mere second the council had told both skywalker and kenobi of the plan change ; obi-wan to be sent half way across the galaxy and anakin to take his place as senator amidala’s escort — anakin flew out the room.  ❛ so . . . what are we doing? where are we going? ❜  he’s beginning to realise that maybe staying behind to get some sort of briefing might’ve been beneficial. all whilst, his thumb is gently caressing the side of her hand ; those subtle touches.
