Potato Halwa is a delicious Indian sweet dish which is mostly made for Vrat or fasting days.Super easy to prepare,made using potato,ghee and sugar,Really delicious!No one can guess that it is made out of potatoes.

Ingredients:
1.Potatoes-6medium size(boiled &mashed)
2.Sugar-1/2cup
3.Ghee/unsalted butter-3 tbsp
Dry fruits-optional
Method:
1.Heat ghee in a thick bottom pan.Heat well.
2.Add mashed boiled potatoes &mix well it will stick to the bottom a little,so it should be constantly mix on a medium heat.
2.Add sugar when change in golden colour.
3.Mix well add cardamom powder optional.
4.serve warm .
Note:
1.The potatoes used should be of medium size & should be removed from hot Water as they are boiled .Leave them in a plate to cool& dry .Peel and mash well while still warm.
