These words are profound and deep. We learn everyday. I have learnt to continue to help and encouragr others. When you do so, you are lifted on return @Regrann from @iamsmade - #mustread This was the circulated photo and a vulture waiting for a starving Sudanese girl to die so it can feast on her. It was taken by Kevin Carter, a prolific photojournalist, during the famine of 1993 in Sudan. This photo later won Kevin the Pulitzer prize for an 'exceptional' caption. However, Kevin later got depressed and took his own life four months after his world wide celebration as a skillful photographer. He fell to depression. His depression began when during an interview ( a phone-in programme), someone asked him what happened to the child. *"I did not wait to see what happened after this shot as I had a flight to catch.... ".* And the person replied, "I put it to you that there were two vultures that day; one had a camera". This statement sank Kevin and as he constantly thought of the statement, he got depressed and ended his own life. In whatever we do, let's consider humanity first before what we can gain. Kevin Carter, may still have been alive today had it be he helped that little child. We have not truly lived, until our lives have become the stars and sunshine of someone else. Search within you and if there is that one person you feel you can help start now tomorrow might be too late #motivational #Realstory #beyourbrotherkeeper #storythattouchestheheart #humanity #pkef #pastoryoma #smade https://www.instagram.com/p/BsiD98hnRfU/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=uupdmeu8wlty

"Mum I'm pregnant ! My baby father wants me to abort the baby "
Real life experience
Girl : “Mum I’m pregnant ! And my baby wants me to abort the baby “
Mum : What? What do you mean you are pregnant ?
Girl : the doctor said I’m 20 weeks and I have less than 4 weeks to terminate the baby. I’m confused, what should I do mum?
Mum : I’m confused too
Girl :  I have attended 6 different termination appointments and left without going through the termination process. I’m still not sure whether I should go through with the procedure.
Mum : I’m so confused
Girl : I’m so sorry mum. Please help me. I need you to save my life. I don’t know what to do.
Mum : Go back to your baby father and tell him to step up to his responsibilities. He got you into this mess in the first place. You are an adult now, I can't make decisions for you.
The girl went back to her baby father.
Girl : boo, as you are aware, I am 22 weeks now. What should we do ?
Boo : we ? What do you mean we ? I told you I don’t what you to have my baby. Go and take it out.
Girl : Ok .. I have my final chance this Saturday.  Will you come with me to my Bapas appointment. If I don’t go through the termination procedure this time, I would have to prepare myself to be a mother.
Boo :  Ok
They got to the hospital
Specialist Dr : are you ready to go through with the termination ?
Both : yea
Specialist Dr : Dp you have full understanding of the procedure ?
Both : yea
Specialist Dr : The nurse will get you ready for the procedure.
After few minutes silence
Boo:   Baby, I feel a bit negative about the termination. God is telling me not to allow you terminate this child.
Girl : what do you mean  ?
Boo : I have this sudden change of heart. Don’t go through with this. Let leave
Girl : Are you going to support me to take care of our baby ?
Boo : I’m not very sure.
Parents, we have a lot of work to do around teaching our children godly values, which can go on to mould their lives. Our orientation and upbringing plays a vital part in our lives. It also has the tendency of making or breaking ones dreams and aspirations.
Often times we find ourselves stuck with making informed decisions in life. We need our parents, good friends, professional etc as we walk through each stages of life.

Where the spirit of God exists, evil spirits exit (Please read)
Reference ~ 1 Samuel 16:23: Matthew 12:43-45: Psalm 92:10
And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took a harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
Worship is a powerful way of ousting foul forces.
What is a foul spirit? What comes to mind once an evil spirit is mentioned is dark, long nailed, gory, mean and floating entity. Not far from the truth. To my understanding, evil spirits are wondering souls with strong attachment to human way of life.
These spirits are only qualifies to work in a person whose mind is on same wavelength with theirs. People with dark minds, with extended hatred, animosity, resentment, jealousy and anger can lend these evil entities their minds to use, therefore enabling them to stay active on earth for a period of time. (Otherwise known as spirit possession)
I had a dream where I engaged in a fight with someone that I know. While the tussle was going on, all she was after was to sit on my back, nothing else. She tried tying my hands backwards, covering my face, etc. She tried all sorts of things just to take over my area of service. Every move she made was to come towards my back side to bend me, so she can sit on my back.
Well, to cut the very long story short, the opposite was the case. I didn’t do much but she found herself face down on the floor and could not move an inch. I turned and said to her “He that is in me is greater that whoever you are” “I’m not in the battle of being in charge but I know whose I am, A child of the most high God.” I was still speaking and found myself praying out loud, still on the bed. (Physically).
I quickly got up, anointed myself, prayed and left for daily duties. I parked my car, walking towards the main entrance of my office , this lady I would normally greet every other morning gave me this dirty look and said “Are you a witch?” I came closer just to make sure I heard her clearly. She asked again, are you a witch?
God forbid, what do you mean?” I responded. She said, “You are always be in charge of this place and would not allow me get on with my job”.
Once I heard that from a stranger, boom! I remember my experience. Listen to what I said to her.
“I do not allow you to do your job? Your job and mine are not related in anyway. As a matter of fact, we are not in the same department” I responded. “However, let me officially introduce myself to you, my name is Amazin Ijeoma, prophet of the highest God. Just be careful where you thread on, it may have been occupied long enough by a stronger personality.  Have a good day” and I left her there. (some battles are better fought with prayers)
She stood there for a while until I went into my office.
Let me tell you, as long as the spirit of God exists in you, no negativity can withstand your presence. For God inhabits the praises of His people. Your embodiment determines your respect.
Every faithful child of God has been given the power and must exercise their son-ship rights, not allowing petty spirits walk over them. Luke 10:19. You have the spirit of truth and wisdom that created the whole universe. Jesus said “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go ye into the world” Matthew 28:18
The good news is this; you have all it takes to win.
This is what I do to stay active, relevant and positive:
1.    My faith is God is strong and stable: Mark 11:23
2.    I fear God : Proverbs 9:10
3.    I am a faithful worshipper: John 4:23, Psalm 95;6, Psalm 150.1-6, Hebrew        13:15, Psalm 22:3, Colossians 3:16, Psalm 29:2
4.    I Respect myself, my family and others : Romans 12:10
5.    I practise self-reflection and mediate daily on God’s Word and on good        things. Philippians 4:8 : Psalm 119:11
6.    I take good care of my physical body: I rest well, I eat good nutrition, I    exercise and have a well regulated lifestyle ~ 1 Corinthians 3:16, I Corinthians 6:19&20, 3 John 1:2, Romans 12:1&2
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:10-12
Remember, where the spirit of God exists, negativity exits
Stay in the word
Yours truly

I HEAR VOICES, AM I SCHIZOPHRENIC?
I woke up on Saturday morning, rushing to catch my district line train.
Already late, I packed my car very close to the train station and ran as fast as I could to meet up with the 9 o clock train.
“Where are you going to madam”? The train station officer exclaimed! The trains are not in service today. You can use the replacement bus to Stratford”.
Confused, I stood around for about 5 minutes, thinking on how best to get to Aldgate in time for my mental health training.
I drove back to canning town and took a bus to Aldgate, got there just in time (9:30am).
It was the final day of the training and it was our practical, about working with people with depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Schizophrenia and the mental health issues. At the later end, we had a practical where we were divided into groups of 3, to practice supporting schizophrenic clients. (Schizophrenia is a mental disorder often characterized by abnormal social behaviour and failure to recognize what is real. Common symptoms include false beliefs, unclear or confused thinking, auditory hallucinations, reduced social engagement and emotional expression, and inactivity. Diagnosis is based on observed behaviour and the person's reported experiences.)
I must confess it was the most dreadful experience I have ever had. Here, you are given the opportunity to experience hearing voices.  Voices that are mean prominent and of course very negative, with the sole purpose of pushing you into harming yourself.
We were asked to roll up A4 sheet to use as a microphone. This was put very close to my right ear. The first thing I heard was “you are worthless”, “why are you still here? Go to the kitchen, pick up the knife in the cupboard and cut yourself”. “It won’t hurt. Just do it! Just do it!” The voice got louder and louder to push you into action. (wow)
Before I knew it, tears streamed down my face. I started remembering past spoken words. Quickly, I picked up myself, remembering whose I am. smiling.
My colleagues became confused as the session was not meant to be real but an act. Unknown to them that memories where cut open.
I also thought to myself, could it be that all pastors and prophets are schizophrenic? People who say “the Lord spoke to me” or I heard God etc.
Does it really mean that we have so many schizophrenic suffering leaders and church members? Could it be that the ones that say they heard God's voice have mental health situation or are schizophrenic?
Must question is, if people are sectioned under the mental health act because they hear voices, what happens to born again Christians who actually believe they hear God’s voice?
At the end of my training, one of my colleagues overheard me talking to myself. He said jokingly, schizophrenia? Is the mental health training already affecting you?
He asked if I was OK. "Yes", I responded." I was just wondering how I am going to get home because of suspended train services". “Which direction are you going to"? He asked again. "East London", I said.
I am driving down to Dagenham, East London via A13; I can drop you off, if you don’t mind.
Wow, thanks for the offer, I quickly responded, but I don’t want to disturb your plans, I’ll catch a bus to where I parked my car. “Don’t worry, he answered, I had offered to help and still would like to help”. “You are a nice person he added”.
Ok then, “Thank you”, I responded.
As we walked to where he packed his car, I formally introduced myself. “My name is Amazin’, a gospel artist”
“Oh wow… a gospel artist?” He asked to further clarify what he heard.
Yes I am… I answered, dipping into my bag for my complimentary card. Wow, Thank you.  I am a Pastor too, he added, I’m honored to have met you.
The pastor ministered to me as if he had a mission to encourage. To sum it all up, He advised me never to give up on God, because God has not given up on me.
He took me safely to my destination.
What an experience. God has virtually spoken to me this season via different means and vessels.
I encourage you today. Do not give up on God, because He has not given up on you.

BE CONSTRUCTIVE It is very easy to give praise but extremely embarrassing to accept it. We reject and dismiss it even before the giver utters or shows it. . Give that child a sticker and boost his confidence. Compliment the matured and give them the choice to go further. Praise is not what you say. It is how you say it. We all need a pat on the back. Be creative on how you accord your praise. It goes a mighty long way To the giver. .. Praise released with a pure heart is recieved well. To the receiver. . Praise recieved shows in your next line of action With this I say to you. I really appreciate all your support and encouragements. It keeps me going on and on Thank you my friends From me

Angels without wings (true story)
I had wonderful time at a friend's function last night, where I was invited as one of the guest artists. After much fun, I left becauseit was getting late. Half way into my journey, I noticed my view was becoming a bit blurry and thought it was the fog. So I carried on driving.
I got to a traffic light by a sharp bent road; a motorcyclist came close to my car and stopped. Worried about that closeness, he said to me “lady, there’s smoke coming out from your car” Immediately, I turned off the engine. Personally, I’m not very familiar with car mechanisms, so I literally went “blue” and “confused”. I called my other half and told him what had happened.
Thank God I had my flats on, (ladies you know what I mean?) so I got out of the car, and stood by the road side. I waited as long as I could, but it was getting foggy, colder, too quiet and darker.
While waiting, I counted about 500 cars and out of them 3 of the drivers asked if I was okay or needed help (but moved swiftly Cos’ they couldn't help). So I carried on with my waiting technique “car counting”
After a while, I went back into the car and tried starting it. This time, the car would not start at all.
I bowed my head and said “Jesus, help me”
Instantly, I saw this guy running towards me. He came close to my car and gave me a thump signed and asked if I was okay? I explained a bit of my experience. Without hesitation, he asked me to open the bonnet and I did (in my heart I was already thanking God for sending an angel)
He told me what he felt was wrong and asked me few other questions. Then he said, “Let’s get the car out of the way. It’s dangerous here”. I will help me push the car up this curb. Just listen to my instruction” Single handed; the angel pushed my car unto the highway curb while I sat in the car controlling the stiffened steering.
“Do you have a pen and white paper? He asked.  Write as bold as you can Broken-Down with your contact numbers on it, display it clearly on the windscreen, take all your valuables and I’ll drive you home safely”.
Perplexed I asked: what? What did you say? He repeated everything he said earlier word for word. He also explained that his wife was in the car waiting for him. He helped me took my high heeled shoes out of the car and asked if it was okay to hold it for me. I locked my car and went towards his car. When we got to his car, I saw that his wife had been in the car also waiting to help.
That got me crying.
To cut the long story short….. His wife introduced herself to me and I also introduced myself. Then she said “Kekwanu” in Igbo language meaning how are you? My heart sank.……
They drove me home, safely. Then the guy said “We weren't supposed to drive this way, we don’t even know where we are going, I live in HASTINGS,  but I’m so glad, God has used me to help you today. Please, what is the guy doing in London at 12 am?
The steps of the righteous are ordered by God. I bet you God re-routed them specifically to help me.
Well, my husband did what he knows how to do best. Problem solver, He sorted out the car much later. At least,  God shielded me and brought me home
I’ll leave you with this:
Ask and ye shall receive. I asked God for help and he sent help instantly. God knew my need but It only came to light when I asked. He directed some available vessels and they obeyed Him. For the heart of the king is in God’s hands. He can stir it to any direction that pleases Him to accomplish His purpose.
Therefore, receive your own help right now as you believe in Jesus name Amen

Why the assumption? Had an amazing experience during my mental health training session today. The training facilitator ended the session by saying "We all make assumptions about people we meet. As much as we try not to be judgemental. However, most of the time we are never able to find out if those assumptions are correct. So we live we what we think about the other. " which in most cases are false." That got me thinking. Food for thought : Would you have thought about that if it were against you ???? Just thinking aloud. If I were you, I will ask lots of questions and walk out secured Amazin'Dizcoveriez

Separated yet comforted
Tumblr media
Every great man had experienced seasons of loneliness before His greatness.  Esther 2
Separation time is the time you seek God for clearer understanding of His plans and purpose for your life and destiny. It is the searching time as well as the time you carefully consider your current status in order to make accurate projections for the future.
If you are feeling alone, know that you are not alone. God created us to have a relationship with us. The disciples felt alone as Jesus told them that he had to leave them.  To assure them that they weren't alone, he said, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:18
May God take you from where you are right now and put you into your rightly place in destiny in Jesus name, Amen
Please pray this short prayer
Dear God,
I thank you for my life and that of my loved ones
Thank you for providing for me and granting my heart desires.
Lord, Help me to understand Your purpose for me
Help me to hear Your voice and follow Your ways and set principles
Please Lord, cover my thoughts with hope and send your love into my heart.
I know you are alive in all I have experienced and to You be all the glory
May the bread of Your word nourish my soul with its goodness and may Your Holy name be praise. In Jesus name I pray with thanks
Amen

Is My Son An Addict? I walked into my son’s room this morning to get him ready for school. Out of nothing he said, Mum I used to eat the wall and my play sand at school…., but I no longer eat them. Not understanding what he was talking about, I replied, what? He then pointed at the loose hanging wallpaper in his room where a tiny set of teeth had gnawed a small piece off the paper, and said, “I no longer eat paper and sand”. Right, I replied, but you are no longer a baby, and asked him if he remembered when he used to eat paper and sand. To my greatest surprise, he replied “yes, but I have stopped that now. At 18 months, my son would quietly sneak into his room away from our sight or silently hide behind boxes, to gnaw through corners of every cardboard boxes, fliers, post cards, envelops, just name it. The glossy and the sweet smelling ones were his preference. My husband and I used to spend time putting away pieces of paper, cardboard boxes, letters out of his reach, save us loosing an important document to his strange habit. I still remember the response my husband and I gave to his nursery school teacher when we were asked if he suffered any allergies on his first day at school. Having looked at the sand play pit, we both yelled out, “he would eat all the sand in the pit”. We could not stop worrying about how much sand he had eaten from the sand pit each time we came to pick him up from the nursery. We were always reluctant to take him to a lovely play ground near our house because he would head straight for the sand pit to indulge. I look back at our experiences and wonder if my son was suffering from some form of addiction to paper and sand at that time. Addiction at 18 months? What could have led to that sort of tasteless desire. I had to take him to the GP at some stage to find out if it was one of those hormones and chemical imbalance thing. My reassurance came from being told that he would eventually over grow it. What is addiction? the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma. National Institute on Drug Abuse define drug addiction as “a chronic, relapsing brain disease that is characterized by compulsive drug seeking and use, despite harmful consequences. It is considered a brain disease because drugs change the brain; they change its structure and how it works. These brain changes can be long lasting and can lead to many harmful, often self-destructive, behaviours. Ahaaa! So addiction is a disease. My question now is, what is the difference between my son’s irresistible desires for paper and sand and addiction to drugs, nicotine, food and all that? In his case, I felt that he probably did not know the implications, and dangers associated with his actions. With addiction in adults, it could be said that they are conscious of their actions but would supress the fears of the long term implication with their short lived satisfaction. Also unlike my son’s indulgence, what gave me the most comfort was being told by a specialist, that he would out grow it. With addiction, the likelihood of dying from that, or an addiction induced illness is most probable. So, what can we do for an addict? How should I treat an addict if one confessed to me. I was once told that some addiction could be quite difficult to treat, and the worst of it all, is that it could easily relapse if not well managed after treatment. Look out for an addict and that’s it, and for my next blog!

"I DON'T HAVE A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION"
Tumblr media
Have you made a New Year resolution? If no, and you thought it was now too late to make one, please read on as you’ll find that it is not. We are now some days into 2015 and probably some people you know may have taken up the challenge of making “a new year resolution”, to address those acts and behaviors that need a positive change in their lives.
If you have not made your own New Year resolution, don’t feel left alone as I have not “yet” made any resolutions for the New Year. It is not that I haven’t got any bad behaviour, weight to shed, or new hobby to take up. No no, it’s just that I feel it is not necessary to wait for a particular date in the year to resolve for a positive behaviour that should change my life, or relationship with others. If however you’ve already taken up the challenge, I encourage you to keep it up for as long as it will bring about a positive change to you and others. Be encouraged!
On another note, but on the same topic, I’m just wondering what percentage of young ones make new year resolutions, or rather should I say resolutions to change a behaviour. Do you realise that when you sit back and appraise your life, to find out any negative act that has over time become a bondage to your well-being or your relationship with other, and you go ahead to make a conscious decision to change those behaviours, “You have made a resolution”, and it does not matter what time of the day, month, or year you made that decision for as long as you put in some effort to keep your resolution. That’s where “will power” comes into play.
I believe that is why some who require support with their “will, self-control, self-discipline”, what you choose to call it, take such resolve at a certain time of the year. It reminds me of when a Christian has accepted Christ for the first time in their lives. They are told to announce it to as many people as possible, and make a strong significance of the date they made that decision. That way, they utilise others they would not want to disappoint to set up external self-checks, self-controls, monitors, external guide outside themselves. I always believe it works if you are the sort of person that wants to keep their integrity in the first instance.
Do you want to give it a test? No harm in trying. Pick on anything you want to change. You can pick on something you can announce to others, and choose the people that will serve as external monitors, and then announce it to them. Or if you feel you have strong will power, you can pick a bad behaviour you had kept secret and have a go. Or rather, I’m not asking for too much, why not pick to and see the one you can get rid of. Please let me know how you get on.
Now how do you choose a resolution?
Is there any rule or formula for setting a resolution? I don’t believe there is rule on what you choose. It can be as simple as reading 1 verse of the bible every day, getting active, to going to the gym once a month, to more demanding ones like taking up jogging at least 1 mile each day, taking the stairs not the lift, or quitting smoking for smokers. Sorry, I meant to say, going to the gym for fitness training, not to meet new friends. It seems all I've written so far may not be a problem for my young readers. Right, what about other habits like spending hours and hours on Facebook, Texting, watching TV, playing computer games, the list goes on. Well, can I say that any is fine? It depends on your level of addiction to your habit. Just take up one for a start and see how far you go with it. Having said all this, can I now say, please take up a “resolution” not just a New Year resolution.
Did I just say addiction? Yes, that’s an idea for my next blog. It has to be about addiction. Those resolutions that crept into our lives, completed melted our will power, and we are now struggling to overcome them. Have you got one?
