How do you zpot a zcammer?

Here's a zemi-detailed lizt on how to spot a zcam blog:

Iz the account relatively new?: Mozt of the time, zcam blogz tend to be a week or a day old. If you have timeztampz turned on, you'll be able to zee the date zomething waz pozted. Zcam blogz zometimez zend out azkz hourz after they're created. Zcroll down az far az you can, and check the date of their firzt ever pozt.

Have you zeen the ztory/profile picture before?: Zcam blogz reuze ztoriez from other zcam blogz, and will often have the zame profile picture az otherz too. Thiz iz probably becauze the accountz zharing the ztory are made by the zame perzon.

Do you get azkz often?: If you rarely get azkz, but keep getting mutual aid azkz, you're probably a zcammerz newest target. It'z nothing really to fret over, you could juzt ignore the azk, but eventually you will alwayz get azkz like that.

Doez the URL zeem auto-generated?: Most of the time, zcammerz will uze auto-generated URLz (e.g. weepingpandareview, scentedwinnerlady etc.). Do keep in mind, not all auto-generated URLz are zcammerz, az people uze them for other reazonz!

How much doez the account pozt?: zcam accountz tend to have little poztz on their accountz, other than the pinned pozt. Mozt of the time, their poztz are moztly juzt reblogz or poztz about a trending topic.

[ZPECIFIC] Do they block you when you add affordable zourcez to get inzulin?: If you get an azk azking for money to get inzulin, add a couple linkz for affordable inzulin zourcez. A person who actually needed that would be grateful for the help, while a zcammer would block you. Creds to adragonofthings for this tip.

Do you have no mutual aid azkz in your bio?: Zcammerz (obviouzly) don't care if you have thiz in your bio, and will zend you a mutual aid azk anyway, regardless if you have that in your bio or not.

Do the reblog datez match?: If you have timeztampz turned on, look at a pozt a blog zhared and click 'other notez', and check if the reblog date matchez the date on the blog itzelf. Zcammerz will backdate poztz to make it look like they've been on tumblr for a long time, when in reality they haven't.

Do the donation linkz lead to paypal?: Zcammerz will alwayz have their 'donation' link lead to a paypal. Thiz meanz your money is juzt ending up in their pocket. Alwayz check the donation link before donating.
