Yes.

Honestly, I have had a lot of problems with my health and school has devoured all of my free time.

My mental and physical health degraded to the point where I could barely stand being conscious outside of the times I was needed for school and even then I took more days than I should have.

Writing has always brought me joy but for a while I couldn’t breathe when I looked at my pages. I tried just outlining, skipping ahead to other things, I tried silly side stories to try and get myself back in my character’s heads but honestly I got worse.

I felt so much guilt. Not only for the story that I loved but for the people who had come to love my world along the way. It felt like I was disappointing them and I didn’t deserve to talk to them. And it still feels like I don’t deserve them but I hang on to what one of them said to me. That they’d wait however long I needed and I know it wasn’t meant to go on this long but I think about that a lot.

It’s slow going but I am writing again. I made a promise that I would complete this series and I will see it through. I love my world and I love my readers more and I want to give them everything I can.

I am studying for a licensing exam currently so the next update is still a ways off, though with any luck you will see a new chapter in Early August.

I just finished reading this story, and I knew right away I needed to give it a shoutout!! It took me a hot minute, but I finally got up to date with the recent chapter, and holy sh*t, I am so hooked! The writing is beautiful, the characters are so real, the wordbuilding is phenomenal, the plot is so complex and intriguing, and the mysteries have got my head swirling with so many theories! Very well done to the author @adhoard​​! Please go check them out, and I fully recommend Weak Constitution: Common Cat to anyone interested! Thank you so, so much for common cat AD! I’ve had so much fun reading it these past months, and I’ve had trouble putting it down so I can sleep! I’m so excited for the next chapter and to read the rest of the book; it’s been an absolute joy!! I give you all of my love!! 💖 Now I’m just waiting for the next chapter, and I don’t know what to do with my time anymore…
