"Exactly, I'm really glad you understand me. I always hoped tha' you would if we ever met. Because not a lo' of people really do. No' because of the travellin' an' all, bu' mostly because I've always been mo'e into books than actual people. Bu' that's when the Doctor came in, he understood me, and even in my books, he was there, and I always imagined he would ge' me like he does in real life." Adeline put the kettle on and turned to face Rose with a warm smile. "I'm just really happy tha' we have more in common, than me an' my mum. She's always busy an' what not, so you just sort of made up fo' a little bit of wha' she never did."

She could tell Rose wasn’t exactly too comfortable with her, so Adeline tried to be polite, not wanting to make it worse.

Bu' really there's such long list of different types, that i' really would be hard to choose something. As odd as i' is I never had trouble with tha', picking favorites. I really don't know why but i' was kind of jus' programmed in my mind." she explained absently as she continued on her way to heat the water. Strangely enough Adeline had a tendency to analyze a person and their feelings, as well as try and react correctly. She could tell Rose wasn't exactly too comfortable with her, so Adeline tried to be polite, not wanting to make it worse.
“Course I know, bu’ instead of talkin’ ‘bout stuff, would you like to come inside? I feel kind of odd just standing in the doo’way…” Adeline stepped out of doorway, allowing Rose to enter her home. “You like tea? Personally my favorite is green jasmine but I like a lot of different kinds… Wha’ abou’ you?” Adeline asked, smiling at her great grand-mother. It was odd having her great grand-mother so young in front of her, but at the same time it wasn’t with all the time travelling in her life. Adeline liked company, but didn’t think it would be Rose Tyler, her great grand-mother, at least not this time. “But yes tea, would you like some?” Adeline asked politely after a slight pause.
