Hudson H9

Quite possibly the most popular pistol that debuted at SHOT Show 2017. Often described as the love child of a 1911 and Glock, it is a striker-fired pistol chambered in 9x19mm. It is lighter than a 1911 but heavier than a Glock. So far from user feedback among the bigger gun blogs, the H9 is very flat shooting and due to its unique trigger, very fast shooting. Interestingly the finish on the H9 is not very durable and Hudson explains that because of the recoil system, using extreme hardening finish process makes the metal brittle in key areas affected by the recoil system.
