Happy birthday Sam! Have some weird birthday birb. I was gunna draw the bird in your icon but then I kinda went wild with these.... (I included a more reasonable version and a more abstracty version cuz I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to do) Cuz I hadn't drawn in a while when I started this my style just kinda went 'whAT ThE FuCk??' which is why the edgy colours and weird bow thing on it's head happened. Tetsu for my fantasy/magic wings AU for Daiya no Ace. Something I should probably say is that the wings are made of magic. They can be materialized and dematerialized at will. Useful because they would probably get in the way when they aren’t flying.

Maaaan, Tetsu was surprisingly fun to draw. I didn’t plan on shading this. I was just gunna leave it as a scribbly sketch. But then I did. I also wanted to play with the smokiness of his wings just cuz that’s how I imagine them materializing.

I ended up drawing carbon sparrow again for school work. This time with two forms. Graphite and diamond. I feel like I could easily turn this concept into something Steven Universe-ish, like, there are birds for every element and they can fuse to form compounds or something.

Here's something for this Daiya AU I've been working on. It's a fantasy AU where all the Daiya kids are magical angel people with wings and they live in a land of floating islands and mythical creatures.

These here are the designs I came up with for Eijun and Haruichi’s wings. I imagine Haruichi having short wings like a robin or some small bird and Eijun having hawk or eagle wings.

I’ve only just started writing it so it’ll probably be a while before I post anything of it on AO3 but I’ve been having a lot of fun with designing the universe.

I was in a sciency mood so I decided to make an element bird. Carbon. It's a bit like a sparrow or some other common backyard bird because I suppose carbon is an element that's all around us. Btw the three numbers on the side are boiling point, melting point and electronegativity while the one underneath is relative atomic mass.

A drawing I did of Amethyst from Steven Universe. I’m quite proud of it. I think this is one of the best drawings of a ‘human’ type character I’ve ever done. :D

Though I have to say, that hair shading is a style I like to call, drawing random lines and thinking “well that looks unexpectedly good” XD
