THE BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND
I am not good enough. I just keep failing. Nobody loves me. Why does no one understand me? God, where are you?

All these thoughts have a certain origin, but you probably think that they come from you. The truth is that such thoughts are NOT from you, but from the accuser the devil. Satan goes around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you should not be surprised to experience opposition in your life. Nevertheless, these thoughts are not nice and you can overcome them!
One way to overcome these thoughts is to know who you are in Christ Jesus! Do you want to know who you are? Read the blog on my website via:

We are called to love one another, because we have no right to hate the other person?
Think about this verse in 1 John 4:20
~ 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? ~
Love your neighbour and rebuke him so that no sin fall upon him.

Show a good example!
Tumblr media
Despite your appearance or position, praise the Lord in your works and work for Him. Be a good example of the people around you 💡
Titus 2:6-7 KJV
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
1 Timothy 4:12 KJV
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

The Gifts 🎁 of the Holy Spirit
The Bible 📖 talks about the Gifts of the Spirit in the First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians. In chapter 12 of this Epistle, Paul mentions that there are diversities of gifts. In total, there are 9 gifts mentioned in the passage. The 9 gifts are mentioned in verses 8 to 10.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
It is important to understand that once someone gives their life to Jesus, there is a change of mind. When you give your life to Jesus and repent of your sins, the Holy Spirit will come upon you. The Holy Spirit will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever Jesus has said unto us (John 14:26). By God, our inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16). And together with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within us, comes a change of mind and a different behaviour. We will bear new and “good” fruits and be given diversities of gifts. The Holy Spirit is really important since we can say that Jesus is the Lord (2 Cor. 12:3). We are called to profit one another (v.7).
The following posts will cover what the 9 gifts of the Spirit are about.

Be open and honest to God 😇🙌
We should work out the new life we have in Christ. Also to build one another up. 💪
Philippians 4:12 (KJV) | Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

In #Mark 6 we read about an ordinary man - Jesus - being despised 😒 by His kind. Jesus appeared to be the Son of God 👑, but the people didn’t acknowledge Him. We have to be very careful in despising someone, because that very person we disregard, can be someone in a great position 🤴, or can become someone great one day. Mark 6 also shows us, by king Herod, his daughter and his wife, that we have to be very careful with the words 🤭 we use. The words we use can be used against us. Finally Jesus gives His disciples five loaves 🍞 and two fishes 🐟. What would we do with them if Jesus would give them to us? 🤔
EXTRA:
Jesus seemed like and ordinary man, being despised. But He was in truth the expected Messiah. Those who seem to be nothing in this world are truly in God’s view. The least honourable people can be the greatest one day. Love your neighbour as yourself! 💛
⬇️
1 Corinthians 12:22-23 (KJV) | Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

Be open and honest to God 😇🙌
Everything is naked and visible before the eyes of God, we don’t have to hide anything from Him. We can be completely honest to Him about everything, including our heart’s intentions. Let’s be honest to God and stop lying. Not only to God, but also to our neighbors. When we are honest to God, He can help us ✨
Hebrews 4:13 (KJV) | Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

In #Mark 5 we read about the results of faith ✨ and unbelief 🤔. When the woman with the issue of blood 🩸 responded in faith, when she had heard 👂 of Jesus, she got healed completely. What others 🥼 couldn’t do, Jesus did for her. Jairus’ daughter is another example. Those who laughed 🤣 Jesus to scorn, were not allowed to see the Jairus’ daughter wake up 😴. Those who responded in faith were allowed. It is really important that we always respond in faith to Jesus Christ. Trust Him ✨
EXTRA:
Just like the woman with the issue of blood, we can be in horrendous situations. Maybe so many physicians or experts have tried to help you, but nothing has worked. Perhaps your prayers didn’t seem to have made the difference. I want to encourage you, trust God and you will see great things happening. Don’t stay outside the door and never see a miracle happen. Trust Jesus ❤️
⬇️
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) | Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Jehovah God fights for you 🤺
Joshua 10 is an interesting story 📜. Joshua got a message from the Gibeonites to save them from the 5 kings 🤴 who joined forces to fight against Gibeon. God had revealed ✨Joshua that he would win the battle and that he should not be afraid 😱. The interesting part is the share of kills by God and Joshua. Most enemies got destroyed by God Himself, rather than by Joshua’s direct intervention 🤝.
God is the One who fights ⚔️ for us. He is Jehovah Sabaoth (the Lord God of hosts)

TRUST IN THE LORD UNTIL THE VERY END!
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Psalm 27:13-14 KJV

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

And John answered Jesus, saying: "Master, we saw one casting out devils in Thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us." But Jesus said: "Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in My name, that can lightly speak evil of Me. For he that is not against us is on our part. For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in My name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward."

Jesus taught His disciples that those who are most humble and self-denying, most resemble Christ, and shall be most tenderly owned by Him. Jesus taught this by saying: "Whosoever shall receive one of such children in My name, receiveth Me..."
Matthew 18:4 KJV
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus will return very soon! His return is imminent
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV

97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
