I'm always thankful when God reminds me that He is using me as a vessel! This album was made specifically for black men in our country and I'm truly thankful for post like @mr_miller1's below. It helps me to understand I'm using my gift to help uplift others through our stories. Thank you for your words sir! #Repost @mr_miller1 with @get_repost ・・・ As many of y’all that know me, music is something I hold dearly near my heart and when I post something it’s something I’m truly love playing at that time and a playful suggestion to listen to as well. This week the NFL has found a way remove our silent protest out of the eye of the most watched sport in the US. The notion of some NFL owners to put this into play reeks of slave tactics. And to top it off the racist and bigoted President decides to add on by saying WE should get out of this great nation if we don’t stand at attention. Next we have a NBA player that was racially intimated, victimized and demeaned for a simple traffic violation. Seeing this in 2018 brings sadness to my heart and I use music as my therapy to push through and have faith for a better tomorrow. As I listen to this album by @aaron_abernathy I can’t help but feel relief from this week with his detailed account of what I feel to be a Black Man in American. It’s a nonstop journey of hope, struggle, rhythm, joy and uplifting sound that makes me have faith my kids won’t have to see or endure these days. My musical prescription has been given..
