yeah fully agree , grey strawberry image has existed for long time and very dear to us because saw long time ago as child n first pic that captivated us with relative colors idea

it make us sad that most often use by public or those not into color theory as "illusion trick" , because knowing relative color is especially important for skintones and why "drawing line to ref sheet" often not work , because it remove context from piece while not understanding relative colors / how color work . You would need put ref in same lighting & filters for it work

it make sad cuz is feel treating relative color as "trickery magic" is feel make people scare of learn , think it too hard , or think it useless thing

color is all about what see , not what color wheel say .

grass not always lush green because sometimes sunsets or nighttime . dropping exact color of what Think something really is into specific lighting situation will make your "real color" look wrong !

been working on for while , but we are working on full story of our limbus buppies , story only has ocs and is 7 cantos long

Story will be quite short , planing be about 20k words & written in poetry-like format . it written in book pdf / printable format (will be free of course woawaaa) and will be adapted to ao3 format .

story is about 3/4 or so done so far

Story follows Dolorem Ipsum who is forced to manage 4 Abnormalities . But on the train along with the conductor Campanella , they always try to find Golden Boughs only to find something else .

how would describe the story is , it doesnt have any gore or violence , it doesnt take place in the city or anywhere directly in the canon world , characters more so resembles their original stories than how canon limbus characters are

it doesnt Feel like a limbus story , but it still somehow fits into the universe

Story deals with idea of perception and idea of "truth , what want" while using color theory and child-like wonder to show these ideas , as well as themes of loss

also wanted show something started doing , on very first page it tend be basic text of title , then next page is "true" title .

having 1st page have title near side found is lot nicer as very 1st and very last page on hardbacks will have glue be tipped near fold , thats why cant open those pages up fully . n also cuz paper backs tend not open well if it very first page too .

all these are typesetted in libreoffice which is free

size is 4.25x5.5 inch with narrow margin (this is half a letter , half of printer paper . make nice small book n make rlly little paper waist as well as 1 printer paper making 2 leaves) 10.5 pt times new roman font , ton sillies

learned how typeset and so format from story here into book that can personally make !

this little thing is half letter (8.5x5.5") as just need cut printer paper in half so no waist . Also rlly love small size , folded / each page size is 4.25x5.5"
