this is gonna be one hell of a show

witness the birth of two heroes

he rose from the salted seas

she earned the kingdom's keys

feel war's touch & ocean breeze

fates' blueprint of a love story

she ties a home around his neck

he falls with her to world's end

tempt destiny, trace sword's edge

it’s 2 am and i want to be lying next to you,

with our hands locked together

and our legs intertwined.

i want your face buried in my neck,

and i want to listen to your breathing.

i want you to wake up and tell me

“i’m so tired”

so i can whisper back

“go back to sleep”

and i want to hold you tighter when you do.

i want to lie in bed alone with you

in the comforting quiet of the morning hours,

and maybe read a book while you sleep.

i want to be simple with you,

and i want to be whatever you need me to be.

hourglass sands

trickle down slowly,

accumulating into

a pile at the bottom.

we cannot reverse

the flow of time,

but we can

make an attempt

to lead a life

with no regrets.

fail as much as you like;

we must learn how to

find happiness

before we run out

of chances.
