big chris gallery's catwoman

during one of my first weekends in florida, i met the amazing kristen hughey...she immediately told me i needed to meet two people...stacy of sgh photoart and chris of big chris gallery...and i am so thankful she introduced me! 

during my first photo shoot with sgh photoart, chris asked if he could sit in and draw me...and this is the result! i love it so much! he is so talented and one of the nicest guys ever! definitely go check him and his work out!

it takes me breath away...well, it would if i had any...

moar makeup! this one was soooo much fun! i love tim burton so much and i have always wanted to do a character of his or something inspired by him...i loved "corpse bride" so much when it came out i decided to play around with that look...and rather than going for a "real life" version i tried to make it look as much like his version as possible...i love playing with makeup and learning from it!

i was never good at fighting games...but i loved to play them...even though they would infuriate me...haha 

that is until i met morrigan...i fell in love with her immediately [purple and green are my favorite colors]...and she was just awesome....i loved her wings and spikes...she was beautiful and deadly all at once...i knew when i started cosplaying i would be her eventually...she still isn't 100% to my liking so i will keep tweaking her until i am happy...the wings took the longest to make but by god they were worth every second! i was so pleased with how they turned out!

this is a jail break!

"there's nothin the matter with my face...iiiii got character!" this is another one of my favorite cosplays! some friends of mine and i went as a group from "cry-baby"...i went as the lovely hatchet-face and karyna when as cry-baby....this was yet again another cosplay where my friends didn't recognize me...haha i love it when that happens!

the [wo]man who knocks

sooooo if you know me or follow me on social media then you know i love to play in makeup...i'm not a professional by any means but i have fun!

about a year and a half ago i finally gave in to the "breaking bad" craze and watched it...and OH MY GOODNESS was it amazing...i sat down to watch a couple episodes and then hours upon hours of netflix consistently asking me if i was still watching [stop judging me netflix] i had finish the whole series....

i had just started looking into how to contour makeup to transform females into males...it is amazing what you can do with makeup...so i took my two new interests and combined them to turn myself into bryan cranston's character walter white! this honestly took very little time...but the outcome was much better than i expected!

my first cosplay

my very first cosplay [and con for that matter!] was a bubble head nurse from "silent hill" for dragon*con 3 years ago! i know that doesn't seem like that long ago but for me it seems like foooooorrrrrrr-evvvvvvv-errrrrrrrr [sandlot style]...i had decided the night before i left for atlanta that i wanted to dress up...so i had to make it in just a few hours! it was so rushed and thrown together but so much fun! i knew after my first time walking around the con floor in my cosplay that this was something i didn't want to do, but had to do...

spooky scary!

to me halloween is all about spooky, scary...ya know like werewolf bar mitzvahs...so here are just a couple photos of past halloweens.. at top we have regan from "the exorcist"...i went as regan to a halloween party some of my coworkers were throwing...i walked up the steps and one of my coworkers introduced herself to me because she didn't realize it was me! haha which i take as a very high compliment... in the middle was a quick version of mia from "the evil dead" remake that came out in 2013...she was a lot of fun to be and i got to creep everybody out too...haha annnnnd one of my favorites is edward scissorhands...i usually try to come up with something different every year...but i have done this one a few times because i love it so much! two years ago i dressed up as him to hand out candy at my house...and i should preface this with for halloween i even dress up my house...so i made it look abandoned and had creepy music and a fog machine inside beside my front door...so i thought i had frightened a little girl that gasped loudly when i opened the door...so i knelt down to apologize and she looked at me and said "EDWARD SCISSORHANDS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!" so obviously i gave her a whole bag of candy...hahah..it was the cutest thing!

black cat wip

here are a couple quick wip photos of my black cat cosplay! one of my favorite cosplays i have done is mary jane watson...shortly after doing her i decided black cat needed to be done as well...so i contacted the amazing reevzfx for a black cat mask...and boy did he deliver! he also is the genius behind the purple catwoman cowl i have!

an amazing day in history

this past year chas! and i went to the the 2014 cincy comicon...

and IT. WAS. AWESOME. 

the guests they had were incredible! some of my favorite creators, artists, and writers were there. if you follow me on other social media then you know my love for the comic "sex criminals." so of course, i was beyond stoked when, not only did i get to meet chip zdarsky, but he drew this quick  drawing of me! now if you don't read "sex criminals, then first off shame on you...secondly you'll be a little lost on the speech balloon reference.
