i just wanted to give a briefish synopsis of angela’s basic timeline within the overwatch lore.  obviously,  i use the official structure of events,  but i deviate on some of angela’s placements.  this might show up in threads,  but shouldn’t really change the overall timeline to a great degree.

2038  -  angela is born in switzerland

2041  -  the  omnic crisis  begins

2046  -  angela loses both her parents

2047  -  angela is left in the care of her maternal aunt and uncle

2051  -  the  omnic crisis  ends

2056  -  angela graduates her undergraduate early,  and enrolls in  john hopkins  medical school

2058  -  angela does a year at karolinska institute in sweden

2060  -  angela first begins work on what will eventually become the valkyrie suit.  her particular study in nanotechnology becomes a serious point of interest for many outside parties

2061  -  angela finalizes her first prototype of the valkyrie suit

2063  -  angela rises to the head of nanomedicine and healing at a prominent swiss hospital;  she publishes several papers on the use of nanotechnology for medicine,  and begins to use her valkyrie suit in first response situations

2064  -  angela is invited to join overwatch as head of the medical division.  she accepts,  although expresses deep discomfort over the combat nature of overwatch’s missions

2067  -  angela works to rebuild  genji shimada  after his near-fatal clash with his brother,  hanzo

2069  -  the events of  uprising

2070  -  overwatch hq explosion

2071  -  overwatch disbanded

2072  -  second omnic crisis begins

2072 - 2076  -  angela travels across the world as a first responder,  improving the valkyrie suit,  and healing in war-torn and conflict-ridden areas
