Zed and Addison’s relationship be like:

Z1:

Addison: ahhh tall handsome zombie! Zed: yo, I think think the cute cheerleader who punched me in the face likes me

z2:

Addison: frick you zed, I’m a furry now. Zed: *steals Addison’s moonstone necklace and being a jerk*

z3:

Addison: we’re gonna be together forever, jk, I’m gonna move to another planet with aliens who I just met just because I found out that I was a quarter alien and leaving every one I love behind. Zed: hi baby *kisses*

I like to imagine that any citrus-related soda is legally banned from Seabrooke, or at the very least from any building that uses electricity. The typical consequence for carrying or possessing citrus soda (pre-Zombies 1) is a very hefty fine and 3 hours of mandatory watching "educational" anti-zombie propoganda videos. This order was effective immediately once scientists were able to learn it was lime soda, not some virus, that'd caused the outbreak. The punishments cease shortly after the events of Zombies 1, but the order itself doesn't until Zombies 2 or maybe even 3 depending on when you want to argue Seabrooke switches to standardized electricity, if at all. Which, if they don't, definitely raises the question of what it'd be like for an outbreak to happen again.

Though non-citrus sodas are technically allowed, they're Very taboo and citizens of Seabrooke had superstitions that other monsters could be made with other sodas. 'I bet vampires are made by fruit punch' or 'werewolves would definitely made by rootbeer" ... much to the annoyance of the actual werewolves who'd heard such rumors through one grapevine or another.

I haven't decided yet if the outside world would be told of the soda's correlation. If everyone was notified, I imagine there was another moonshine era but for soda, with people stuck between following health regulations or having their sweet freedom and bevrages. By the start of the films, soda could almost even become a luxury item, like a $180 bottle of the most refined lime Fanta.

At the very least though, Seabrooke is federally quarantined off and the announcement of zombies is widespread. I like to imagine that there was an order to also dispose of all sodas in Seabrooke, which quickly lead to Seabrookeans (?) hoarding the stuff or trading it in circles. It becomes like, an entire Thing and some zombie families still have antique soda bottles just to flex on people
