I’m known for my work in difficult lighting scenarios. This #wedding reception photo was taken at the #21c hotel in #durham. With professional LED stage lighting surrounding the floor, no only did we have to overpower it but also be mindful of the banding those lights can cause at higher shutter speeds. The results? This #wedding photo is one of my 2017 favorite images! It’s won a @wedisson_com award and I just received notification that it also was given an @slrlounge #apexawards with the highest score for the month of November! I “borrowed” the couple from their reception for 10 minutes to make this image, which I’m so great duo they humored me. For those wondering how it was done, I was above them and the lights hang down the center of a spiral staircase.
