The quails are now over a year and a half old and it looks like they’re slowly moving to the retirement. Laying larger eggs, molting, those are signs that they’re getting old. Sir mix-a-lot at work. I do my tea blends myself from herbs that I grew or collected by hand. This batch with melisse, hops and other herbs is a good night tea. Autumn apples galore. I forgot to thin them out earlier so now I pick out smaller ones that are almost ripe and leave out the larger ones. Next year I have to put up a reminder.
