Hello, I am Heba Al-Anqar, 21 years old, a university student. My university was suspended due to the war. I am writing about my family: my father Bakr (54 years old), my mother Alaa (46 years old), and my sisters Aya (18 years old), Amal (15 years old), Muhammad (13 years old), and Maryam (8 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to suffer in northern Gaza.

My father suffers from heart problems. He had open-heart surgery when he was 36 years old. He also suffers from cartilage problems. He had his pelvic joint replaced about two years ago, in addition to other health problems. He cannot work due to his health condition.

My mother also suffers from asthma and shortness of breath, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining treatment due to the conditions and the war.

This is our house, which was destroyed by war

We have become homeless in places of refuge, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining medicine, food, and daily expenses

I created this account to request your help in this difficult ordeal by donating to meet the necessary needs, as we were relying on social assistance before the war.

My goal is to help my family live in safety and provide the necessary necessities for living, as there is a high cost of living and difficulty in obtaining necessities. We ask for your help in leaving the Gaza Strip to save my family’s life. The cost of travel is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, in addition to travel and accommodation expenses of $500 per month.

Please help Bisan!

Last week I made a post to raise awareness my friend Bisan Salah, who I've been speaking with for some time. She is trapped in Gaza with her family facing immense hardship due to the destruction of her home and life, the onset of winter, and the continual threat of violence. Originally, she made fundraiser primarily to buy a new tent to replace the one her family currently lives in, which is damaged by the elements and unsuited to protect them from the coming cold.

However, since then, the situation has become more urgent. Bisan, who has been working day and night to try and find food and water for her family, was hospitalised with malnutrition just this week. Her life is in danger. Her situation is unsustainable without outside help—help that we can provide.

Bisan needs £8,000 both to buy the tent her family needs and also help pay for vital necessities such as food and medicine. This is not something that can wait a long time. Currently, she is only at £1,774 of that goal. Compared to other fundraisers this is very achievable. Just this week I was able to dedicate the spare money from my paycheck to her campaign, and I know that a lot of you also have steady paychecks and cash to spare. You may not think it's a lot, but donations add up. If you can't donate, please share so that this can reach more people!

Like the link has stated, the animators are artists too, they want to be able to release work that they themselves are proud of, but their scenes are pretty much js getting cut out to meet deadlines, and not to mention the low pay and work conditions.

So if you want to blame someone, blame the greedy studio.

The bombing was above us and we spent it crying and fearing a lot for our children. We did not find safety in any of them. The second day of the war, we received the shocking and painful news for our hearts and my father’s heart more because he built it with his hardship and fatigue. It was the bombing of our house in which we lived for twenty years and we have many memories that we will not forget. On 10/13/2023, we were forced to move to the Deir al-Balah area in the middle of the Gaza Strip. This area will remain in our memory because we found hardship, fatigue and intense sadness there. We live in a tent in the intense heat that is filled with small insects and disgusting mice that no one can bear to live in a place like this.We suffer from the lack of water and the high prices that are beyond imagination, and other than that, the children of my family who lived their childhood in tents, war, and toilets and lined up in long lines to get bread. This is their childhood, and they are supposed to be in school, entertained and happy, and have all their needs that are lacking now. I hope that you will help me and my family in these difficult circumstances and complete my studies at the university.
