For Pensacon, I was going as Maka, Clear (again) ((because everyone loves Clear right)) and Kat from DMC, but I haven’t had enough time to work on my cosplays because I’ve closed at work the past 3 weeks or more and I might only be Clear and Maka, maybe not even Maka..

When I first got the wig and had no Frickin idea what I was doing, Vs now that I've cut and styled the wig some more. Of course, I still have a lot to do with it, but it looks hella better. I'm getting better at this whole cosplay thing

how 2 cosply pls

Step 1: Fall in love with too many characters and too many costume designs.

Step 2: Save all the reference images. Never find one of the back.

Step 3: If you do find one of the back SCREAM IN DELIGHT even though it’s from far away and super pixelated.

Step 4: Shop for fabric. Cry.

Step 5: Wait impatiently for fabric/supplies to arrive. When it does, let it sit there until a week before the con.

Step 6: Rush to finish the costume, regret life choices.

Step 7: Check bank account, regret life choices some more.

Step 8: Go to convention

Step 9: Have the time of your life

Step 10: Return home, watch more things, “OH THAT COSTUME IS SO PRETTY”

Rinse and repeat.

Currently working on my Maka Cosplay, I have to cut and style it to look like hers still, which in the last picture, I cut the hair covering my ears and I made the hair shorter. I just need to cut the other ponytail and thin them out a bit, then I'm done with that part. Hopefully i'll have the scythe done soon too ._. Pensacon is in a week!
