I like to headcanon that Summer actually became a scene kid in the early 2000’s (college) and developed a new interest in the macabre after being exposed to The GameTM. Her and Zack are living happily together in a one bedroom apartment in New York as adults. They adopted one kitten and raised him by themselves. (His name is probably something silly like Gigglewhiskers the third) I feel like after what she’s been through in the first Game, she deserves a happy ending instead of being shoved aside. Maybe Zack and her also bonded over always being a secondary thought to the others in the friend group and their trauma with the supernatural.
