The seven demigods of Argo II, with Nico and Reyna, played a dare game after Camp HalfBlood’s celebration of The Feast of Spes, a year after Gaea’s slumber.

And Reyna dared Annabeth to be a Barbie doll for one day.

“Annabeth, you’re...pretty decent. Yeah.” Percy said, while blushing.

“Gee, thanks Seaweed Brain. Atleast Reyna had a field day dressing me up today. Glad to be of service.

“So this is what a praetor does on a weekend. Funny, Frank hangs out a lot with Hazel on the Greek side every time he’s off.” Piper helped herself on a bowl of jellybeans besides Reyna’s bed.

“Who invited you here McLean?” Reyna said, putting down her book to hide a smile that she reserves for her friends.

“I invited myself! I came here to take you out and get a life.” Piper answered.

“Get a life? What’s wrong with this Piper? This is life!” Annabeth said, clearly stunned that Reyna never told her about her mini-library in her room.

Piper’s jaw dropped as Annabeth walked to a nearby corner, grabbed a book, and took off to where Reyna was. Reyna raised an eyebrow at Piper.

“So you were saying, Beauty Queen?” Reyna teased.

“You two are unbelievable!” Piper surrendered.

“You boys sure improved a lot on your teamwork. As the one who saw you killing each other on a Kansas field, I’m really glad.

“You did share a few adventures with this two Piper. Well, can’t say i’m jealous. It was both near death experiences.

“If you two are done soaking yourselves in our rain, feel free to say.

“Nah it’s okay. You two are adorable. Well, Annabeth is.

“So, what brought about this sudden road trip of ours? Haven’t we had enough of each other’s company to keep spending time together?” Leo Valdez asked. 

“Yeah, we don’t want to be with you too.” Percy supplied  beside Frank.

“We can drop Valdez out at the next stop. I wouldn’t mind.” Frank agreed in between Leo and Percy.

“Now you hurt my feelings,” Leo said while mock-hugging Frank. “You Romans are so...sacrificial. Aren’t you?”

“Yeah. Good to see you too.” Frank said and literally gave Leo a bear hug which scared the living daylights out of him.

“That’s disgusting.” Nico shuddered, riding shotgun.
