His midlife crisis hit pretty recently. He was walking home from yet another fulfilling day of sitting around hearing dissatisfied customers complain to him on the phone about...well, whatever they usually complained about.. That day, he had decided to get a coffee, and that's when he saw this man sitting all by himself in the corner of the shop.

The man seemed very well-off in his sleek Salvatore Ferragamo loafers and Prada suit. However, his back was hunched over. He had his hand over his face like the world was crashing down around him. Wealthy, but unhappy. Age old story. The existential crises of the wealthy always irritated Yoo... It didn't really matter to him until he looked at his reflection in his window; Yoo had the exact same expression. Huh.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad of a job. He was living semi-comfortably on a livable wage. But it was just something he never imagined himself doing years ago. Yoo was never one to sit around and do what was expected of him...And yet, here he was, doing exactly that. He didn't ever think of himself as too unhappy, just used to routine. Little did he know that he got  too used to it. That's why he always felt so bored. Boredom was a no-no in Yoo's book.

But, even after all this contemplation, he knew he was being stupid and unreasonable. He was a fucking adult for god's sake; adults can't just leave their jobs and reach for their dreams. Everyone had their chance in youth, and now it's done. it's over. That's not how the world works now. Reality hurts, sure, but that's the inevitable and unforgiving truth. 

He was slurping the noodles in an attempt to get over his stupid shit. He really needed to get over himself. That's when he heard the doorbell ring...repeatedly. "Who the hell...?" he murmured to himself, but by the fifth ring he was walking over to the door, grumbling as he did.

"Ugh, man. Whoever you are, you're fucking cra-" He was interrupted by the sight of a clearly drunk Taehyung lying against his door, tearstricken and still sobbing. "Hey kid, what are you doing here?" he asked.
