this is uriel! shes a very pretty angel lady that traps people in dreams and honestly i love her so much shes so pretty

but also very bright >>_<< my eyes hurt

anyways uh i dont want to clog up anything so lore will be under the cut!

she was around A WHILE before the comics happen of course shes dead

her family were the old monarchy of Ruina (very old country) before being taken down by commoners a la french revolution

uriel was a really sickly child growing up, so when the palace was stormed the commoners took pity on her and let her leave the city.

oh boi did they fuck up lmao

uriel went to the north of the country (she didnt know what she was doing) and ended up accidentally making a deal with Ennea, the deity of dreams

also ennea is straight up just AN EYE

like thats ennea at the top of the artwork

anyways, uriel ends up looking like a biblically accurate angel (because the powers of the gods arent supposed to be harnessed by mortals)

but uh

the body isnt supposed to rapidly grow wings, make metal halos, OR hold any magic like at all

so she ended up going blind

but at the same time Ennea used uriel to make a dreamscape that took over quite a bit of ruina???

and that existed for a few...

hundred years.

hey i never said uriel died within a natural timespan we got god magic here bitches

but anyways the queen of Ruina -Ahibis Nocturo- sent some mercs to go and deal with that because its spreading and kinda causing people to go comatose.

uriel dies.
