XXLAND BIG TIME ELECTIONS 2020. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD! YOUR FACE SEEN! YOUR VOTE COUNT! YOURSELF PROUD!

XXLAND has always been a region of change albeit with a nod to its traditions, not only from the conservative actors, but also from the romantic notion of the progressive’s struggle to always evolve. 

As the political power houses of the Bastion Party Babes and the sly magnificent Wander Party enters the final week of the campaigning many topics have been covered and accounted for. What’s the current prognoxis you say? ––– I don’t know, I’m just a blog post. But! Who cares about knowing the future’s plans anyway when the present is so so so exxciting? 

To further celebrate our democratic system of equal populist opinions and opportunities we, THE WHOLE REGION, LXU REPRESENTATIVES & ITS FRIENXDS, will gather again for the ultimate digital square danx of the year where the winning party will finally be elected and hastily put into a position of immense power.

To keep the parties focused and engaged with all the stakeholders of the region the elecxtoral team have once again decided on a few topics to be responded to:

1) Should it be illegal to butter up your sandwiches, is this personal savoury freedom not way more important than whyever we shouldn’t?

2) Taxes, how and from whom will they be collected – how and to whom will they be spent?

3) The XXLAND Anthem – a growing vocal group of both progressive and conservative groups asks the parties for their views and ideas on how to deal with certain controversies regarding, by some called, the somewhat outdated regional anthem.

After a warm summer the Xxland’s citizens are increasingly becoming worried that their healthy 60–100 cm of yearly snow won’t show up in time for the 2021 Winter Olympix along the beautiful coastlines of Kaxlmar – a place of athletic pride and an important commercial tourist attraction for the regio--NO SCRATCH THAT! Well. Lets remember it still, but the elphxxant in the room is that we have another big issue now, the COVIX-:( virus has put our region on hold, proper glue like. With borders closed no tourists can visit, no transnaxxtional business or exchange of goods as transports are halted for days at the borders. Aaand how will the athletes even COMPETE when having to deal with the protecxtive skxyhat used as protection against the COVIX-19? 

Our current local expert scientists have long warned about that our lifestylexs have set us up for troubles. It’s a proven fact that the local warming, an increase of 2–10°c over the last 11 years have made it possible for the skybug Covix-:( virus to not only infect trees, plants, smaller to mid-sized bushes, cows et cetera but now us humans of the antropoxene.

The same local ssscieeentistss have made very vague promixes about that the skybug can’t survive for a very long time if we follow a few principles of protecting and washing surfaces that are exposed to their window of attack – from above – while wearing protective skyhats©©©:

Wash your head, hair and shoulders every 30 minutes or use wet-wipex© every time you’ve been outside

Don’t go to the hair-dressers more than necessary

However, and due to super strong demand from all categories of Xxlanders the two parties of XXLAND will meet and discuss their take on the issue of the WINTER OLYMPIX during the Covix-:( (((and no snow too?!))) [GAME EVENT #2]. 

It’s soon, but still with time to go, and as both parties are known for strategies of persuasion to the region’s stakeholders we should expect participation in a wide arrangement of communicatory channels to convince us that their solutions is just super.
